I felt so bad and frustrated today when an Officer of the Nigerian police force stopped my vehicle along LAMPESE Expressway in edo state. He checked my boot found nothing then demanded for my papers which i gave him, after confirming the correctness of my papers he pockected my papers and said i should fid him something, i refused and the kept me for more than an hour. I later gave him 1k with a curse..

The Senate on Tuesday finally passed a bill to make the Nigerian Peace Corps a para-military agency.
The Senate adopted the conference report on the bill to establish the Nigerian Peace Corps, after it was so advised by its committee on judiciary, human rights and legal matters.
Both the Senate and the House of Representatives had separately passed the bill last year.
However, after the harmonisation of the two separate bills, the Senate had rejected the harmonised version, which has now been approved.
The bill will be sent to President Muhammadu Buhari for assent after the House also approves the harmonised version.
It is not clear if the presidency will approve of the bill as several departments in the executive including the police and the military are opposed to the legalisation of the Peace Corps which is currently a private NGO

Being over religious than those who introduced us to it is one thing that is part of our problems in this country. Every body is carefree and paintiently waiting on God for what God will not come and do for us. If God want to do everything for us as Human then He wont give us super medular oblangata. Most Nigerian suprise me, and thats why some fake religious leaders and our armed robber politicians will keep taking advantage of our gullibility. We are far from development in this part of the world, a white man make use of their brain to identify, investigate and proffer solution to problems not to countinue disturbing God. As youth of this country, our future is in our hands, those old thieves know that they will not be challenged thats why they are so deep in all these corrupt practises.
I am a christian and i believe so much in God but i still believe we need to act most times rather than waiting for God's intervention on Every challenges.

OP, reading your story i have to ask myself that hope am not the one that wrote this in my subconsciousness​. i am also under pressure to get a visa and leave this country. I lost my job last year due to downsizing and i have tried some very small Businesses with what i had but at the end none is yielding, people owing me here and there. The economic environment is not friendly.

In all sincerity, i do not really keen about travelling out but what other options do i have left now, i am in my late thirty with a family and we all need to survive. The few companies that are employing make tougher their recruitment Process due to large, unprecedented number of people in the labour market, this make it a bit hard to get a job now. There is no hope in sight that things will get better any time soon.

Well, i am still trusting God on this before i take any decision.

Hello NLanders please has any one experienced discomfort around the heart area, as if the heart is hooked by something. It's not really pain but a kind of discomfort that's not palatable. I normally have this experience once in a while whenever i stay around a very strong odour. I used to have this feeling for few days but without taking any drugs, it will go on its own, however, the present feeling has lasted more than a week and the discomfort has turned to a kind of hotness around my heart area.

Please who has had this experience or any doctor in the house who can help out. I am going to see a doctor soon though.
