Speaking for PPSB reporting my own version of the Director speech today, he said we should comply with the directives to submit bank statement of account for those affected in the non payment saga that the money is no longer in the pipeline but available to be paid once the directives has been observed this week as a grace for that. And that he spoke with the governor on our behaves concerning the non biometric no payment issues that the governor agreed to pay us our salary without it, and he gave nursing mothers one thousand naira each for there children.

pls did u submit ur statement by urself at the board or through your principal

some are saying 6months statement while my principal said 3months-january to match which are d months we were not paid. which of these now is correct?

I don't think there is confusion about it, if you want get a years statement. I think what they need is evidence of the month u received salary last. just do it for them before they will start blaming you again. just watching and waiting for NLC Wednesday strike #winks

Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers state has expressed sympathy with the 13 thousand teachers that have not been paid their salaries months after they were employed by the state government. “PDP , Rivers State Chapter, again expresses serious concern on the plights of the newly recruited teachers , whose salaries are being owed by the Rivers State Government after several months of their engagement , ” said Mr Felix Obuah, State PDP Chairman. Obuah, who spoke through his media aide , Mr Jerry Needam said the party was really disturbed by the plights of the teachers. “The party wonders why up till this moment, none of the employed teachers knows how much he /she is entitled to , as monthly salary, as the letters issued to them do not state how much they will be paid monthly by the government. ” The statement also expressed worries with the time the biometrics being conducted on the teachers was taking .

Pls how true is this info? Just got it now: PPSB should go to the board an check the list pasted there, if ur name falls there, it means you'll be paid March salary.

My own school nobody has received payment since February till now. And am sure all of us cannot make mistake at the same time.

my friend its true that all of u can't make that mistake but that typist can do that or it's intentional act by the board. just go and check first cos they ve started working on march salary

just leaving the board (ppsb) now and will wish everybody that has not been paid should also visit the board else your march salary may enter voice mail.

reasons: wrong computer number or change in level /grade or wrong account number or wrong BVN or omission to be paid.

so u ve different list to fill your name depending your problem.

mine was that the last digit of my BVN was wrong and my step changed. but to be serious I checked the nominal roll many times before it was sent out from my school.

that typist at the board need to be changed, that's my personal opinion

Babe, you are getting it all wrong. Those that are just being paid double are Second batch of UBE and not the first.

don't mind them, in short the arrears will not end, and the first set to get arrears will be the last to still receive too. wise man!

lol, it has come to money nobody want it to finish.

1st batch: 4 months
2nd batch : 5 months
3rd batch: 6 months
4th batch :7 months etc.

if u are in 1st batch and received ur 4th month in September which was August salary then 4th batch will get their 4th month in DEC which is Nov salary.

then when 2nd batch will receive their 5th month in January which is DEC salary u(1st batch) should not be expecting any cos u collected first salary alone.

keep it at the back of ur mind that this sequence will continue for the next 6 month without extra pay for u in 1st batch, 5 months for those in 2 batch etc.

hmmmmmmmmm, I don't like writing long sentences like this just wish this is my algebra class.

She said he can HANDLE maths, agric and econs....is talking about capability ......I like her versatility. Personally I studied Biochem but can handle Maths, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry Comfortably I also have a teacher who have this capabilities and his using it in his personal tutorial classes even though is own field is Maths. Listing all this capability for any private school to me is a death sentence because some will use u very well in all those area and pay you peanut. That is why specialty should be 1st while capability is based on cash involve.

I understand you, but private schools are different from mushroom schools. listing all these to a school means u are baseless cos the higher u go the narrower it becomes in area of study. don't qualify teaching with THIS teaching where I see a Doctor teaching literature because 'HE CAN' . this is my field and I always call for specialty. ask yourself y a teacher cannot do the work of a doctor in the hospital but u want the opposite and u call it CAPABILITY. remember A DOCTOR KILLS A PERSON BUT A TEACHER KILLS A GENERATION. #PROUDLY A TEACHER.

If their is one thing RV has in abundance, in my opinion, is QUALITY maths teachers....We have never been in short supply...RV people need the job more.

Where were the rivers state maths teachers when a school went almost 15 years without one. I don't beg to do what I know am contributing my own quota. ONE DOOR CLOSES ANOTHER OPENS, THAT I BELIEVE DON'T CARE HOW U FEEL ABOUT IT. pls cry for urself and leave people alone.

The recruitment process in RIV POLY cannot be compared with that of the 13000 teachers , it wass full of tribalism and fraud inshort you have to pay to get the job both indegin and non-indegin alike,but a private company handled the recruitment of the 13000 teachers and was made transparent and public too.
Do not be afraid WIKE cannot layoff the 13000 recruited teachers.

... And if he does, he will definitely employ others. Cos Rivers state don't have enough teachers already cos my school don't ve science teachers and I teach maths to the whole school. So WIKE get ready to teach rivers children if u ask the teachers to go. MUST WE BEG FOR EVERYTHING?

An average south south man knows that we are prey to the bigger tribes in this case the so called non indigenes'.But all we expect when ever we show a little kindness by admitting you into the state civil service is a little gratitude and not to be pessimistic.
Apart from employing you into her civil service the state is already contributing her quota to the development of the nation. Pls try to be optimistic.

My dear friend let me remind you that we the non indigenes' are also building your state and also deserve some respect from u people.
