Please remember to apply for a CAQ. To study in Quebec, you must have your Certificate of Acceptance Quebec and which is part of the documents for your visa processing.

Thank you for the good job y'all are doing on here, it's really helpful and encouraging to keep pushing.

I got admission into a 2 years diploma program in Quebec, I have been given Letter of Acceptance although I haven't paid any tuition deposit, just paid registration fee.

I need clarification on some questions bothering me and on how to get Proof of Funds as I can't afford the interest rate those helping people with the POF are asking for.

1. Should I pay the tuition deposit before applying for the study permit? The school did not make it compulsory but advised I pay the deposit if I can.
2. Can I use POF from a friend or someone who isn't related to me? If yes, are there any special documents to be prepared for submission?
3. Do I need to state that we have a special kind of relationship to convince the VO?
3. Is there a specific duration that the funds have to be in the account of this person before and after applying for study permit?

Please, I'd appreciate your comments/suggestions as I could use any help I can get at this time as I am a first time applicant and I applied by myself.

Hi,

Dont let money stop you from any dream. If you want to come to canada and move there thats ok I know there are several people here who have nothing home and abroad but made their way here. You have to put in the work the time and research. And be careful not to get scammed from desperation. There are ways Jobs can give you LMIA sponsorship
You can get academic scholarship
You source proof of fund from family and friends
Go on youtube linkedin so many platforms where people have found means to move abroad. We all did not get here with our millions. I hope you get my point its a lot of work that will be easy if we all have loaded cash somewhere but this is our reality. I wish you all the best.

Hello Sir, thank you for such an insightful topic. What you did and still doing is really hard to find someone to do such even amongst brethren, keep us the good work and hope others would follow suite. This piece is Very helpful and useful, just want to know if these methods can still be used to achieve the same results as of today considering that this thread has been on for a while now.

I also sent you an email,would appreciate it if I can get some GRE materials to prepare for the exams.
