MASSIVE ORGANIC SUPPORTERS AS GOVERNOR IFEANYI UGWUANYI VISITS MARKETS

It was a massive joy and jubilation as the governor of Enugu State, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi visited some markers in Enugu North senatorial district, few days ago.
The visit, without prior notice or awareness started at the Ogige market which is located in Nsukka urban, Nsukka council area.
Still at Ogige market, the governor used the opportunity to commission the mini fire service station his administration built and equipped to ensure the safety of traders and buyers in the market.

It is on record that the administration of Ugwuanyi built and equipped with the modern firefighting equipments, a mini fire service station with a rapid response vehicle and other essential tools. The leadership and traders at the market however did not waste time in declaring support for the governor's senatorial ambition as they, through the market leader, unanimously agreed to cast their vote for his Excellency and other candidates of the PDP.

From Nsukka market, the governor drove to Eke Ozzi, the largest and busiest market in Enugu Ezike and Igbo Eze North council area. At Ogrute, a mammoth of organic supporters thronged in to catch a glimpse of the man who has put smiles on the face of Eke Ozzi traders.

Recall that the Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi led administration sank boreholes within the premises of Eke Ozzi and erected perimeter fence round the market to wade off the threats from burglars and ensure maximum security of the traders wares when they have closed and retired to their respective homes.
The administration of Ugwuanyi also built and equipped, very close to the market, a fire service station located inside the local government Secretariat, a stone throw from the market.

Late last year, there was a case of fire outbreak at the Eke Ozzi, palm oil section specifically. The threat was however able to be curtailed and put off by the efforts of firefighters who were assembled by the administration of His Excellency. There was also similar case of fire outbreak at the Timber section of the market but the Ugwuanyi-assembled firefighters again rose to the occasion and responded swiftly to ensure the traders do not suffer any loss to the fire outbreak.

So it was natural that the traders and buyers at the ever-busy Eke Ozzi organically supports the candidature of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to represent the people of Enugu North senatorial district at the National Assembly.
From Eke Ozzi in Enugu Ezike, the governor ended the impromptu visits at Orie Orba market, his hometown. It was expected that being his home, it was going to be a total shutdown at the market.

The Orie Orba traders did not however disappointment as they, without delay, identified with their illustrious son who has changed the story of the area with the provision of access roads, hospitals, water and other social amenities.
The leadership and members of Enugu North Future Leaders Forum congratulate His Excellency on the positive response and organic supports for his senatorial ambition. It is a testament to the fact that indeed, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is well accepted by the people of Enugu North senatorial district and the state at large.

That reminds a similar incident: soldiers flogged all the youths the caught in a certain community because one of the community boy beat a soldier.

It happened in UNIBEN. He went to withdraw money from the school ATM and in the process beat a student there inside the school, students at the ATM stand there in the school rushed him immediately and started beating him back.

Senate Bid: Paucity Of Fund Hits Okey Ezea Campaign, May Withdraw From Race

All is not well in the senatorial ambition of Barrister Okey Ezea, the Labour Party’s candidate for the Enugu North senatorial district election. Barrister Ezea, a one time governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Enugu State has been in dilemma over the reported paucity of funds in the party.

A member of the party privy to
information in the camp of the senatorial candidate who volunteered information to our correspondence stated that it has not been easy for Itchi born politician as a result of the caliber of the candidate of the PDP who is the governor of the state.
The party man who does not want his name in print disclosed that Barrister Ezea feels intimidated, overwhelmed and dispirited as commensurate monetary support is not forthcoming from the federal level of the party, a development that has significantly impeded his senatorial campaigns in the zone.

“Baring any last minute change of mind, our candidate may throw in the towel as he has been unable to match the pedigree of the candidate of PDP. We should stop deceiving ourselves, no political party in Nigeria can effectively carry out political campaigns and awareness without money. How do you mobilize members of the party to a rally without providing the necessary logistics? I remember a certain ward meeting I attended; the chairman was unable to rent chairs and canopies on the basis that he was not given any money for the job” he told a member of Enugu North Future Leaders Forum

Leadership is not about politicking, governance is different from politics.
Electioneering Campaigns in Nigeria focuses more on politics not governance capabilities.
Political Discussions are focused on how to cajole an opponent and his supporters.
Elections candidates are not judged by their manefestoes, managerial capacities, commitments and leadership prowess.
Electorates are concerned by their immediate personal interest, just like some political aspirants.
Since inception of democracy, Enugu state often times in particular have Maintaned one party system (The PDP). Often times candidates carpet cross to other party just to register grievances, and returns back to the party either after defeat or when compensated adequately.
These candidates don't in anyway consider the plights of their supporters/the electorates they moved with to other political party at d time of their negotiations.
Brief research have shown that Frank Nweke Jr of APGA governorship candidate was a former chief of staff to Chimaroke of PDP governor btwn 1999 to 2007, that was either before Peter Mbah or after Mbah. Later became a minister to obasanjo of PDP btwn 1999 to 2007. Now Nweke is in APGA dishing out the bad leadership of PDP.
The Chijoke Edoga of Labour Party today remains one of the most beneficiaries of PDP government; from local government chairman to special adviser to the president to member of house of Representatives to commissioner in Enugu state government and so on, today Edoga is obidently in the Labour Party preaching the evils of PDP and her candidates.
I now ask, what was the achievement (s) of these candidates when they were in positions of authority that benefitted their people or supporters.
Now, Peter Mbah was a chief of staff and later commissioner for finance under the same Chimaroke Nweke & Edoga were part of, while Mbah later moved to private sector, the laters continued in their political leadership of PDP.
Today Dr Peter Mbah is the CEO of Pinnacle oil and gas and founder/ board chairman of Peter Mbah foundation that currently have over 10,000 direct and indirect job for Enugu citizen and beyond. I may imagine that the curriculum vitae of some supporters of Nweke and Edoga or their relatives are in Pinnacle oil and gas or Peter Mbah foundation either already employed or waiting to be employed. Then what do we call the type of politics or political support we give to political office candidates for our own good?
I will return soon for the senatorial candidates meanwhile, think about this first.

UGWUANYI HAS GREATLY TRANSFORMED NSUKKA DISTRICT, SHOULD BE REWARDED WITH SENATORIAL SEAT.

Few months into the government of His Excellency, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as the governor of Enugu State in the year 2015, the nation went into recession which brought the economy of the country to it's knees. While the biting, harsh and unfavorable economic realities occasioned by the sudden slide into recession lasted, many indegenous industries went moribund; foreign companies left the country as well. It however did not end there, as both private and public sectors were forced to take extreme measures to stay afloat in their respective businesses.
Some state governors were also unable to pay salaries of workers.

As if the recession which literally brought the country to it's knees wasn't enough, the world witnessed a global economic meltdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic. The country yet again went into a second recession following the restriction that followed the outbreak of pandemic globally.
The country was rattled and overwhelmed by the ugly developments.
Again, industries began to wind up; private and public establishments began to lay off workers, everyone strived to adjust to the harsh economic reality.
One could rightly aver that at this juncture, the government, particularly the states which were most hit were brought to a standstill.

However, while these unfavorable events took place, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi rose to the occasion to smoulder and cushion the effects of the concomitant developments.
It should be noted that while some states of federation were unable to meet up with workers salaries not to talk of executing infrastructural developments, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi was simultaneously paying salaries and providing key infrastructure to ndi Enugu.
Particularly in Enugu North senatorial district which comprise of Nsukka, Igbo Etiti, Udenu, Igbo Eze North, Igbo Eze South and Uzo-Uwani council areas, the governor adequately spread key infrastructures to the areas.

In Nsukka axis which is the central part of the district, Ugwuanyi built major roads in all the nook and cranny of the area. The landmark project which is the Opi-Nsukka road was not only done but structurally built to last for decades.
To open up the town and elevate it's status to that of a modern city, Ugwuanyi built feeder roads with functional street and traffic lights to boost the image of the town.
Still in Nsukka, Ugwuanyi built fire service stations to forestall the trend of occasional fire outbreaks. To cap it all, his Excellency built an ultra modern stadium in Nsukka to permanently cement the city status of the town.

In Udenu council area which is the home of the governor, he asphalted virtually the major roads scattered in the communities that make up the council area before capping it with a state University teaching hospital located at Igbo Eno. The school has long been completed and began operation.
The story is same in all the council areas that make up the senatorial district. Notably in Igbo Eze North, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's administration built an ultramodern hospital well equipped with state-of-the-art health facilities. The project has since been completed and awaiting official commissioning.
This is in addition to other projects his administration executed in the council, notably the several kilometers of road and fire service station which has been combating the ugly trend of fire outbreaks in the council.

It is also worthy of note that his Excellency built fire service stations and cottage hospitals in all the council areas in Enugu North senatorial district. Ugwuanyi has also, and has continued to embark on road project execution in some parts of the district. Not to forget is the federal polytechnic which the administration of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi attracted in Ohodo, Igbo Etiti council area.
It is against the backdrop of these glaring stellar performances of governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi that we wish to reiterate our resolve to support him in his senatorial ambition to represent the good people of Enugu North.
We are also urging the people of the zone to throw their weight behind governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as he is the most qualified, connected and exposed candidate to represent us at the Senate.

Typical of the biblical king Pharaoh, the embattled governorship candidate of Labour Party in Enugu State, Barrister Chijioke Edoga talked down on the feasibly fear-stricken members of the party in the state, as he expressed, according to him, the nonchalant disposition of members of the exco in some wards.

During one of his tours which has been lately restricted to the Enugu North senatorial district, Edoga bared his fangs on the members of the party standing under the peppery sun. The enraged Edoga upon arriving at some wards in Enugu North senatorial district met near-empty venues. Not only that the venues were half-filled, the exco members of the party deserted the event, a development that was so much for the two time commissioner under the PDP to swallow.

Edoga did not however mince words as he threatened, like a supreme leader, to exclude the erring members in the composition of his cabinet as the governor of the state. He went ahead to accuse them of not having faith in the chances of the party emerging victorious at the polls. The stunned members of the party who couldn't help but watch in bewilderment, the fires and brimstone emanating from the mouth of Edoga in an Idi Amin fashion.

We therefore urge ndi Enugu to be wary of the Pharaohic tendencies in Chijioke and his gang of desperados. It is unprecedented in the history of the state, the level of desperation exhibited by the governorship candidate of Labour Party in Enugu State. He has with this singular act, proven to be lacking in leadership qualities required to govern a state like Enugu with a long record of peaceful coexistence amongst political players in the state.

If Edoga can send fellow party members to the political gaol on trumped up charges, it is then unimaginable what he has in stock for members of opposing political members. With Chijioke Edoga, Enugu may witness an unrest occasioned by the segregative and persecutory style of leadership which has just been manifested in the trending video.

Governor Ugwuanyi deserves lifetime recognition as the true face of democracy. His level of tolerance is unequalled. He should, to say the least, be honoured as the S.I unit of tolerance and hospitality. We all witnessed how heaven nearly collapsed this afternoon because I posted a photo of Ideke where his then supporters in APC disf!gured him. Enugu State Labour Party cannot take a quarter of the things they throw at Ugwuanyi. If Ugwuanyi is like their candidate who does not have the pyschological resilience to shoulder dissident opinions, many of them would be chilling in pr!son now. It is still this set of people that their candidate said in a video that Ugwuanyi use to k!ll people and even composed him a d!rgy while they cheered on and clapped

The Labour Party campaign in Ibeku Opi, Nsukka local government area has been recorded as a flop according to eye witnesses. The campaign held at the Catholic Church along the express road recorded scanty crowd as the chairs and canopies brought to the venue were never sat on or made use of throughout the duration of the rally.

According to a resident of the area, Mr John Onah who volunteered information to a member of Enugu North Future Leaders Forum, the rally flopped probably as the People's Democratic Party, PDP, coincidentally held their respective rallies at first, Ibeku Opi before proceeding to the Idi Ogbozalla wards on the same day and time with the Labour Party.
The traditional rulers of Ibeku Opi also also shunned the party's rally as they were all visibly present at the venue of the PDP rally.

While addressing the multitude of PDP faithfuls, Hon Barr. Cosmas Ugwueze who is the immediate past council Chairman of Nsukka local government told the multitude of crowds which included the visiting Deputy governorship candidate of the party, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai that Opi town is solely for the PDP as against the rumour being peddled by enemies of Opi land.

ENUGU NORTH SENATORIAL SEAT: WHY THE QUALITY OF OPPOSITION CANDIDATES SHOULD WORRY IGBO NSUKKA

When his Excellency, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the executive governor of Enugu State emerged as the PDP candidate for the Enugu North senatorial seat to succeed Senator Chukwuka Utazi, it was thought that other opposition parties, citing the caliber of the state ruling patry's candidate, will bring forward the best in their respective ranks so as to stand a chance against the incumbent governor of the state who will be flying the PDP flag in the election.

When Enugu State chapter of Labour brought forward the name of Barrister Okey Ezea(though his candidature is being challenged in the court) as the party's candidate to slug it out at the polls for the zone's senatorial seat, everyone dismissed it to be one among the numerous social media jokes, not untill the party later confirmed the authenticity of the publication. Barrister Okey Ezea, popularly known and addressed as Ideke came into political limelight when he emerged as the All Progressive Party candidate during the 2015 governorship election in Enugu State.

Not only that he was pummeled at the polls, he was also unable to secure federal appointment from the Buhari-led administration afterwards. Note that it has been a tradition for candidates who made concerted effort, invested hugely both in cash and otherwise at elections but fails at the polls to be compensated by the party. But such was not the case with Ideke, one of the candidate's to slug it out with His Excellency, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for the Enugu North senatorial seat, as he was not only considered unfit for federal appointment, he was also sandwiched and relegated from the scheme of things and affairs of Enugu State chapter of APC. Unable swallow the shame of being perpetually kept under the party's armpit, Ideke jumped ship to seek redemption at Labour Party where he met a conglomerate of decampees.

The APC is also not left out, as they brought forward, the name of Ambassador Ejike Eze as their candidate to challenge the incumbent governor. Although Ambassador Ejike has been tireless, on social media, particularly on WhatsApp platform where endless groups are being created to be used as a medium to commiserate with bereaved party members, not much has been heard nor known of him.
But least is expected of the Enugu State chapter of APC. This is a party whose members in the state can be said to be wandering in political orphanage as a result of protracted leadership tussle.
It is on record that while leaderships of the party engaged in fisticuffs, the landlord of their state party office came and evicted them, throwing their belongings out over what was later revealed as their inability to offset a backlog of rent arrears.

Not that the opposition parties have the wherewithal to stop governor Ugwuanyi's senatorial bid but the caliber of candidates being brandished should be a source of concern to our people. Ideke who has been in political coma, the unknown traveler from APC and other hibernating candidates of other parties; are these the best the opposition parties can afford, or can it be described as a downward political development in Enugu North zone?

I hereby congratulate his Excellency for his forthcoming triumph at the polls. The antelope with a swollen scrotal sac is a very big advantage to the hunter.
Ideke whose political comatose took place several years ago needs, first, resuscitation as a patient is not revived at the boxing ring.
The hanky-panky activities that characterized the Labour Party primary election across the state led to the present crop of misfits emerging as candidates thus giving room for a lingering court cases as being witnessed across the state, a development that already portends doom for the party. The water coming out of a rusty tap has automatically lost it's purity.
It is always worthwhile when political parties field their best candidates in an election so they don't make mincemeat of themselves at the polls.

BOND BETWEEN ENUGU TEACHERS, STUDENTS AND UGWUANYI UNBREAKABLE

Yesterday, at the newly constructed ultramodern stadium in Nsukka, students and teachers under the platform of Enugu State Post Primary School Management Board (PPSMB) Enugu North chapter held a prayer rally to thank God and also the governor over the excellent performance and emergence of students of the state as the best in WAEC exams.

Dorning the trademark black and white uniform, the jubilant teachers after the prayer session, chanted solidarity songs with the governor in gratitude for what he has been doing for teachers and students in the state.
Recall that in the statistics released by the West African Examination Council (WAEC), Enugu State emerged top on the ranking of best performing schools across the country, a feat made possible by the favorable and conducive learning environment by the Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi led administration.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, upon taking over the mantle of leadership in the state revitalized the state scholarship scheme. The board has so far awarded scholarship to hundreds of students in the state to study in prestigious schools abroad and within the country.
The administration of Governor Ugwuanyi has invested heavily on students and also given the teachers a conducive and favorable condition for them to discharge their duties with enthusiasm.

To ensure that teachers alongside civil servants in the state are motivated, the administration of Ugwuanyi introduced the payment of 13 month salary for workers. It should be recalled that while other states are grappling with non-payment of workers salaries, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi administration in addition to being prompt in the payment of workers salaries, introduced the 13 month salary payment to civil servants.

It is only natural that having heavily invested in the education sector in the state, students tend to manifest and perform excellently in examinations. It is then on the heels of these wonderful policies of Governor Ugwuanyi in the education sector that teachers and students trooped out in their numbers to identify with him.
The prayer rally organized by teachers and students in Nsukka township stadium has once again showed that the bond between the teachers, students and governor Ugwuanyi is unbreakable.

PUNCTURING DENIS AGBO'S DIATRIBE AGAINST GOVERNOR IFEANYI UGWUANYI

The attention of Enugu North Future Leaders Forum has been drawn to a nocuous publication credited to the candidate of Labour Party for Udenu and Igbo Eze North federal constituency, Hon Denis Nnamdi Agbo.
The said publication, a mere misrepresentation of facts which was only fit to be published in an unpopular blog ordinarily shouldn't attract anyone's reaction, but for the sake of the feeble minded persons which ironically are the target audience.

In the said diatribe targeted at the Governor of Enugu State, Mr Agbo said among others, how Ugwuanyi manipulated the people of Enugu North senatorial district without leaving any legacy project for the zone. He went on to state while addressing a gathering of women at Imufu, Umuitodo ward 3 on Thursday, how the governor wasted eight years as the governor of the state and allocated the position of deputy governor, Senate and Speaker state House of assembly to Udenu.

While it is a known fact that during electoral campaigns, half-truths and baseless allegations take the center stage, it is however unethical for a leader in the mould of Denis to mount the podium to turn truth on its head in a bid to curry public sympathy.
Rather than intimate the masses on what they stand to gain if he's elected, Agbo who once represented the constituency at the National Assembly embarked on campaign of calumny typical of Labour Party and said that Ugwuanyi, against the yearning of the zone, took the senatorial slot meant for other council areas.

To start with, Mr Agbo despite the agitation from a section of Ozzi people in Igbo Eze North council area to rotate the seat of power back to their kingdom, went ahead to contest the seat despite the fact that his Umunano clan has been on the seat for eight years. What moral justification does Agbo and his journeymen in Labour Party has to criticize the fact the senatorial ticket went to Udenu.

He also said that His Excellency is leaving behind no legacy project for the people of Enugu North senatorial district. How untruthful can people get in a selfish attempt to climb to power.
At first, the administration of governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi beautified the then dilapidated Ogrute town when he constructed and put functional street lights from Amufie road down to the Umuida junction axis of the road spanning several kilometers.
Still in Igbo Eze North council area, the administration of governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi constructed the several kilometers Ayogu Eze drive at Inere down to an adjourning village called Umuaji. This is in addition to other kilometers of road project in Mkpamute, Aji and Umuogbo Ulor communities.

The governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's administration also built a functional fire service station, cottage and amenity hospitals, magistrate building and others, all within Igbo Eze North, Mr Agbo's council area. It is then spurious for Agbo and his manifesto-less travelers in Labour Party to opine that the administration of Ugwuanyi did not do any project in Igbo Eze North, let alone Enugu North senatorial district.
It is only fellows driven by selfish interests that will opine that Enugu North senatorial district did not witness any legacy project from the administration of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. This is a zone that has been accused of being prioritized in the government of Ugwuanyi by other senatorial zones.

Who else does not know that the dual lane Opi-Nsukka road, the Nsukka township stadium, the State University teaching hospital Igbo Eno, the modern Amenity hospital in Ogrute, State Secretariat Annex in Ede-Oballa, inclusion of Enugu as an Oil producing State are among the legacy projects executed by the administration of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. Are we to talk of the hundreds of kilometer roads asphalted by governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi across the noon and cranny of the zone?

It is manipulative for Agbo and his now forgetful party men who rose to political fame through the PDP to turn around to castigate the party in a futile attempt to hoodwink the poor masses. We are not surprised that Agbo has taken after his master and governorship candidate Chijioke Edoga in the trademark knack for mindless campaign of calumny, after all, it is stated that the birds of same feathers flocks together. It is also delusional for Agbo who does not pick nor return people's phone calls except during election period to think he can emerge from nowhere to win the votes of the masses who he has never been accessible to.

2023 GENERAL ELECTION: THE STRUGGLE FOR THE SOUL OF NIGERIA.

2023 is upon us, election and preparations for transition is here again. It is that periodic time of the year when we come together as a people and decide our fates by choosing through the ballots who spearheads the organized affairs of the rest of us for the next 4 years. Expectedly, the atmosphere is astir with electioneering campaigns, politicians are about with their usual fake promises of doing this and that with a glowing public display of feigned humility and sudden show of concern to the deliberately neglected plights of the masses, not forgetting the anomie that is characterising and has been a hallmark of elections in Nigeria.

A shrewd man defined politics as the act of leading people by deceiving them. As somehow as the thoughts seems, the set of political leaders in Nigeria have proved the sage right with their repeated patterns of deceiving Nigerians with deceptive moves every election period. One would wonder how long we Nigerians shall allow ourselves to be deceived before we learn to say in words and actions: "enough is enough"
Disturbing is the honest addition of Niccolo Machiavelli that one who deceives will always find those who allow themselves to be deceived. But before you allow yourself to be deceived again this time, add 8 years to your current age and then decide if you can afford to waste another 8 years of your life because of bad government and failed leadership.

The problem of Nigeria is solely bad government and failed leadership. Bad governments are elected by good citizens who do not vote, failed leaderships are reinforced by people who do not participate in elections. The masses are not pleased with the way things are in Nigeria except those responsible and benefiting from it, aside these set of persons, the rest of us are crying foul and desperate. Take it by and large, we will be consciously ruthless and decisively mean in voting out all the leaders who plunged this nation into hardships and brought us tears and pains. This can only be achieved if we come out en masse to perform our civic duties. It was Keith Ellison who said that "not voting is not a protest. It is a surrender"

The last 8 years has been a trying time for Nigerians, President Buhari's APC led government carefully plunged the nation into overall mess and disaster, insecurity situations, record inflation and unemployment, unaccountable intimidating accumulated debts, avoidable socioeconomic hardships, devaluation of naira and weak economy, recurrent ASUU strikes and proclivities for bandits and non state actors, fuel scarcity, hunger and starvation, fragrant violation of Federal Character principle and contempt of the court, budget padding and general maladministration to mention but few. If we fail to vote the right person this time, things will get worst and the wailing continues. Who is the right person?

The presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP): Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, was in pages 31-32 of MY WATCH Volume 2 written by former President Olusegun Obasanjo described as a fantastically corrupt character and one who sacrifices morality, integrity, propriety truth and national interest for self and selfish interest. "What I did not know, which came out glaringly later, was his parental background which was somewhat shadowy, his propensity to corruption, his tendency to disloyalty, his inability to say and stick to the truth all the time, a propensity for poor judgment, his belief and reliance on marabouts, his lack of transparency, his trust in money to buy his way out on all issues and his readiness to sacrifice morality, integrity, propriety truth and national interest for self and selfish interest". He said.
Having now heard from the horse's mouth, whether Atiku will go for the rescue or not is left for the populace to decide but having tested the depth of the River with their two legs, the masses will not want to jump from fry pan to fire this time.

Tinubu who is another of the front runners in the presidential election under All Progressive Congress (APC), is, however, despite his incoherent and failing health conditions caused by senility, is allegedly involved in drug deals. As a matter of fact, USA Court released Certified True Copy of judgment for the forfeiture of $460,000 belonging to him for narcotics trafficking and money laundering. On November 7th, 2022, Prnigeria, reported: “it is no longer news that on October 4, 1993, Bola Ahmed Tinubu forfeited $460,000 to the United States Government for his involvement in narcotics trafficking and financial transactions in violation of the U.S laws". Has he chances of leading the country of over 200 million heathy persons with ailing health shall only be determined by the masses whom are aware that a man who sells his monkey in place for a dog still has something that squats in his home.

Peter Obi who is the Presidential flagbearer of Labour Party (LP) has clean records of criminal cases, lacking reports of profligacy of public resources, breach of public trust and illicit involvements characteristics of his counterparts, and has overtime proven to possess the magic wands to make Nigeria habitable and a country we will be proud to call our own. Whether he will be reposed with the mandates and responsibilities is left to be decided by the people on the ballot. Perhaps, Nigerians will settle for decency and production over any other this time, as APC government has in the past years shaved all of us without wetting it. Fellow Nigerians, it is that significant period of a tenure and in our hands once more is the power to choose either champagne for a few or safe drinking water for all.
