PoliticsNigeria At The Crossroads: Where Do We Go From Here? by IkennaOodo(op): 7:33am On Apr 28, 2024
When you go out today, try and grab a copy of the newspaper if you like and turn to page 4 to read the publication I made titled "Nigeria at the crossroad: where do we go from here?"

The struggles we face are grim, and the pain is palpable. Many of us are barely scraping by while others are fighting to make ends meet. The cost of living keeps rising while our incomes remain stagnant. The prices of food, fuel and other essential items are staggering, the youths are left without jobs or hope for a better future while the value of our currency dwindles freely and our national debt heaps.

A nation that was once at ease is now grappling with numerous challenges shaking its foundation.
The cost of goods and services are skyrocketing every minute in the market, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for ordinary people to survive. This is not a natural phenomenon. It is not a result of market forces or external circumstances. It is a direct consequence of government policies that prioritize the interests of the wealthy and powerful over the needs of the people.

PoliticsNigeria Is Already Bad Enough, Please Do Not Make It Worst For Us, Open Letter T by IkennaOodo(op): 4:04pm On Sep 10, 2023
NIGERIA IS ALREADY BAD ENOUGH, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE IT WORST FOR US, OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT AHMED TINUBU

By Ikenna Oodo

His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR., I congratulate you on your emergence as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the last general elections. Your victory adds flesh to the aphorism that success comes to those who work for it. You worked hard for this and now you have it. However, since after the election, there have been lots of springing restive opinions and post election tribunals challenging the legitimacy of your government, these are expected anyway, but whichever case, the reality at the moment is that you are the constitutionally recognised president of Nigeria and the country is on a calamitous conflagration of fire under your leadership.

Mr. President, I am constrained by the worsening conditions of living in the country to hurriedly write you as it now eloquently appears to us that you are oblivious of the unbearable hardships ravaging the country. And why today looks so bad, you are not able, after months in office to give Nigerians hope of a better tomorrow or reason to believe in you. And as the days fade by, the government which you are the leader keeps giving us more and more convinctions that we made a mistake electing you our President.

Mr. President, Nigeria is in a critical juncture and rattling with overdue paturition pains. The offshoot of this paturition is solely dependent on the policies you make or unmake will culminate into peace or restivenes. These policies will also either worsen or lighten the prevailing predicaments in the country. It therefore calls that you be witty and lenient in your policy choices. The nation is beleaguered with plethora of challenges, starting from insecurities to economic struggles and overt and covert corrupt practices in high and low places, among others, which an average Nigerian is burdened with daily. It beckons to be humane and pervious so the country is not plunged into another round of hardship into the abyss.

The past administration of President Muhammad Buhari was cruel and brutal. A remind of those days puts every Nigerian in a funeral mood. The administration fed the masses what could least be described as bitter pill. For that reason, Nigerians desperately sought replacement. A replacement that will not worsen the predicaments. This, the masses found in you. However, contrary to expectations and imaginations and testimonies, upon assumption of office, your administration began shaving our hairs without wetting it.

In his book titled "UNDER MY WATCH" Olusegun Obasanjo said something that stands you tall amongst your contemporaries. He presented you as one who navigates tempest despite how devastating and come out unscathed. In that book, the former President told Nigerians that you possess this magic wand that Nigeria has been longing to heal. He said: "I am not a politician. I am a decorated soldier. I am an Army General. If you are looking for a thorough bred politician in Nigeria, visit Bourdillon Lagos. There, you will find one. However, politics has no permanent friend or enemy. If you remind me about what Bola said about me four years ago, have you reminded yourself of what I did to him and his Lagos Government about 20 years ago? I almost crashed his government and state. No Governor or Government from 1999 till date would have survived what I did to Bola and Lagos. He survived because he has the magic wand and I hope he gets the chance to wave the wand over Nigeria". Whether this regrettable situation your administration plunged the country into is the magic wand Obasanjo talked about or there is another coming is unknown. However, what is known and clear for now is that you are pressing us too hard on the neck and we are losing breath.

In that traditional fable, a parable was told of an animal whom in a modest attempt to escape harsh living conditions to a better one, fell from fry pan into fire. The severe hardships in Nigeria and President Tinubu's aloofness in the alarming conditions and disturbing public cries sends a complete signal that just like that unfortunate animal, Nigerian people, in their search for a better President, zoomed off from fry pan and successfully landed into the fireplace for thorough burning, roasting and final destructions. How else can one describe the situation better?

Mr. President, the people of Nigeria have high expectations for your leadership and it is important that you sit up and work towards sustainable solutions for the good of the country. It is also important that you recognize the challenges Nigerians are facing and prioritize their welfare by addressing security problems, revamping the economy, fighting corruption and providing basic amenities in order to make significant positive changes in the country.

The economy needs serious attention. The increasing level of unemployment and poverty is worrisome. Implement policies that promote job creation, attract foreign direct investment and support small and medium enterprises. By so doing, you will be able to pull many Nigerians out of poverty and improve their quality of life. In the same vein, corruption remains a pervasive issue that undermines the progress and development of the country. It is imperative that you lead by example and implement transparent and accountable governance systems. This includes strengthening institutions such as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and ensuring timely prosecution of corrupt individuals. By tackling corruption head-on, you will restore trust in the government and attract investments.

Similarly, Education and Healthcare sector need quality attention. Access to quality education and healthcare is essential for development of a nation. It is worthwhile to invest in infrastructure, train and equip teachers and healthcare professionals and provide affordable and accessible education and healthcare services to all Nigerians. A well-educated and healthy population will contribute to the overall progress of the country. The security situation in the country is dire with countless lives lost and families displaced. Security agencies should be adequately equipped and incentivized regularly to effectively combat security upheavals. Investments should be made in intelligence gathering, technology and training of personnel. We need a concrete plan to ensure the safety and well-being of every Nigerian.

As you adjust and sit up to the responsibilities of the mantle of leadership, I implore you to remember the oath you took to uphold the constitution and serve the people. Nigeria can no longer afford to continue down this path of hardship and despair. Let history remember you as a President who put the interests of the people first and worked tirelessly towards their upliftment. A President who restored hope, security, and prosperity to Nigeria. May God guide you, Mr. President, and grant you wisdom and strength in the task ahead. May you lead with courage and integrity, and may Nigeria rise to its full potential under your leadership.

PoliticsIgbo Eze North Lga. Security Summit: "Please Let Us Forgive One Another And Give by IkennaOodo(op): 1:30pm On Sep 10, 2023
IGBO EZE NORTH LGA. SECURITY SUMMIT: "PLEASE LET US FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER AND GIVE PEACE A CHANCE..." EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, IGBOEZE NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT BEGS.

The Security Summit of the people of Igbo Eze North Local Government Area was held yesterday the 9th of September, 2023 at the Local Government Headquarters Pavilion. The Summit which was well attended by sons and daughters of Ezikeoba also had in attendance: clergymen, Heads of various Security Agencies in the Local Government, starting from the Military, NDLEA, Enugu State Neighbourhood Strike Force, Police, Forest Guard, among others.

The Summit primarily aims at bringing to an abrupt and everlasting end the insecurities and criminalities ravaging the land. Enugu-Ezike which was hitherto a safe haven and a peaceful harbour went berserk about two years ago when a band of unsuspecting criminals infiltrated the land and turned it into a beehive of restiveness as they struck indiscriminately and intermittently, garot innocent lives, displace families and individuals, invade peoples home and farmlands, forceful seizures of properties, decimation of security agents and exhibition of terrific behaviour, etc. which in totality created apprehensive atmosphere that grounded activities and movements in the land.

Narrating the activities of the criminals, the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Engr. Ejike Itodo cried foul during the Summit while recounting the losses the insecurities have cost the Local Government ranging from the number of innocent persons killed to the number of projects the insecurities denied the Local Government.
Specifically, he brought to the knowledge of Igbo Eze North people that the Local Government lost the opportunity of having a Commercial Bank built in Igbo Eze North. He began by telling the people how arrangements were made for a Commercial Bank to open a branch in Igbo Eze North, and the period they agreed to come and commence work, insecurities heightened all of a sudden, people were killed here and there including armed policemen, and that was how the bank management ran away and cancelled the idea of building a bank in Igbo Eze North till further notice. In the same vein, efforts to get them back with assurance of security and safety failed as they made it clear that nothing will bring them to Igbo Eze North until there is an appreciable level of peace and tranquility in the Area.

Similarly, the Chairman also lamented the slow pace of development insecurity has brought in Igbo Eze North. Recounting the ordeals, he revealed that caterpillars and heavy-duty trucks hardly agree to go to work in many places in Igbo Eze North because they are often confronted by these criminals while at work. In Umuagama Community for instance, criminals burst caterpillar tires used in grading roads there and it affected works going on there. "You see what I am talking about, please my people, let us shun insecurity and embrace peace because there can never be development where there is insecurity" he said.

Furthermore, "security is everybody's business. If you suspect any movement or persons, kindly bring words to the authorities and please do not bring false reports against anybody" he added. Stressing on this, he pleaded and encouraged everyone not to cover or harbour criminals in their homes or neighbourhood and that so doing attracts full wrath of the law. Additionally, Hon. Clifford Obe, Hon. Ejike Eze, Hon. Dennis Agbo represented by Igbo Eze North Labour Party Chairman, Traditional Rulers, Barr. Richard Eke and Heads of Security Agents in Igbo Eze North present all spoke at length on the need to eschew insecurities and embrace peace in Igbo Eze North Local Government.

The Executive Chairman of the Local Government, thanked the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for the listening ears and all the supports he always give them to combat insecurity in Ezikeoba. And therefore to permanently ground insecurity in Igbo Eze North, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Engr. Ejike Itodo in collaboration with people of Igbo Eze North agreed to setup a Committee on Youth Welfare that will be responsible for the welfare of the youths in the Council Area. Likewise, A Security Committee that will be addressing peoples security problems and providing security assistance and advises to persons in Igbo Eze North will also be setup. These committees will have offices respectively assigned to them in the Council office.

EducationEkene Ugwuanyi's Book by IkennaOodo(op): 4:09pm On Aug 27, 2023
This book is a brave and courageous enquiry, exposition, revelation and critique of the pre-colonial, colonial and postcolonial history of Igbo Nsukka, that is, Igbos north of the South-East, Nigeria. The book begins with what is obviously the most ferocious and critical enquiry into the proposed Igala and Nri origin and migration of the people of Igbo Nsukka, distilling, by means of evidences factual and astonishing, an unprecedented uniqueness into the origin, past and practices of the Nsukka people; putting an end to shallow debates and propositions, complicating establishments and excavating essences into the past and primitive norms and values of the people under reference.

The most defining and profound territorial contests by the leading states of the people of Igbo Nsukka before the colonial encounter are not left behind in the book, neither is the Nsukka side of the story into the horrors of the civil war. To have done all these and more, evolving and using what is uniquely indigeneous Igbo Nsukka letters of the alphabet, with a full chapter dedicated to discourses on Igbo Nsukka phonetics and phonology is not only daring but symbolic of the astuteness of a work resolved to open up questions and answers into an obscured past.

Among the few remittances that we have had so far in the history of Igbo Nsukka, Ekene Ugwuanyi's Precolonial, Colonial and Postcolonial account seems to have distinguished itself as not just the most elaborate, but the most comparative and, most importantly, the most daring and interpretative.

It is within this scope of comparison, interpretation and courage, where history situates its power, that Ekene Ugwuanyi equally situates his relevance in the committee and cult of the scribes of Igbo Nsukka "historidom".

PoliticsOn Chimaroke's Post-election Loss Disorder. by IkennaOodo(op): 4:10pm On Jun 26, 2023
ON CHIMAROKE'S POST-ELECTION LOSS DISORDER.

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

All is presently not well with the mental state of former governor of Enugu State, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani since the conclusion of the general election which saw him loosing woefully to a relatively unknown candidate of Labour Party.
Since Senator Chimaroke lost his bid to return to the Senate, he has since become an internet sensation, going haywire and attacking anyone he delusionally perceives to have had a hand is his woeful electoral outing.

It all began when the electoral body declared Sir Kevin Ugwu winner for the Enugu East senatorial election to the chagrin of Nnamani who was obviously banking on a non-existent might to win the election, especially after the gruesome murder of Oyibo Chukwu who was originally the senatorial candidate of the party.
Unable to absorb the shock and fate of being politically idle after his unceremonious expulsion from the PDP and subsequent spanking at the polls, Nnamani, like he was petitioning the international community, relocated to Tweeter and launched series of attack against the national electoral body, accusing it of being behind his travails.

His Excellency, Barrister Peter Mbah the governor of the state was not also spared in Chimaroke's post-election loss disorder as he was accused of not being a worthy 'Nkanu brother' In series of tweets, Chimaroke accused the governor of working only towards the actualization of his governorship bid while abandoning him to his fate.
The attacks, allegations and defamation of character continued on the verified social media handle of the former governor and lawmaker as it became a daily routine.

The latest of Chimaroke's social media dance of shame is the diatribe against the immediate past governor of the state, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. In a show of a traumatized mind, Nnamani who, during the administration of Ugwuanyi, made it a habit, to shower encomiums on him at any given opportunity especially on birthdays and highlighting his works throughout his reign as the governor suddenly, though a manifestation of a schizophrenic mental state, launched series of attack on Ugwuanyi.

In his ignominious post on Tweeter, Nnamani described the immediate past governor who brought him from political limbo with words not worthy of being on print. Chimaroke accused Ugwuanyi of not doing anything to tackle insecurity throughout his reign.
Chima, alias Chiboy has suddenly forgotten that Enugu was a killing field during his reign of terror. We have not forgotten the events that accompanied the 2003 general election in the state, how politically motivated killings became the order of the day.
Enugu North senatorial zone was not spared during Chiboy's reign as it witnessed series of electoral violence.
Notably was the event at Enugu Ezike , Igbo Eze North council area where masked men in a gestapo style, opened fire on a gathering of All Nigeria People's Party(ANPP) at the Late Chief Okafor Omeh residence. The men who reportedly rode from Enugu later left the scene but not without the flow of tears and blood.

The killings and gangsterism during Chimaroke's regime was so much that the first task performed by the successive administration of Sullivan Chime was the introduction of a police crack squad that clamped down on the activities of cult boys and other killing gangs in the state.
Chimaroke, alias Chiboy has suddenly forgotten that upon his completion of two term of eight years as the governor of the state, became a regular to the EFCC guard room over the alleged embezzlement that took place during his reign. Consequently, good numbers of properties traced to the now internet sensation were confiscated.
We have also not forgotten how the funds allegedly spent on securing a two-months advert placement on CNN for the Ebeano Tunnel rose far higher than the sum reportedly utilized for the project construction.

It is foolhardy for Chimaroke to castigate Ugwuanyi after being rescued from the political wilderness. It is a known fact that after the end of Chima's tenure and the unenviable entanglement with the anti graft agencies, the self styled emperor from Nkanu was abandoned to his fate by friends and well-wishers.
It took the magnanimity of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi who 'recovered' the now internet sensation from political destitution after showing flashes of repentance, unknown to Ugwuanyi that a leopard never changes it's spots. It is a mysterious coincidence that the only election candidate to have been consumed by electoral violence during the last election in the state is the candidate who faced the now internet sensation.

Probably, the senator who is daily getting distinguished in infamy expected Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to catapult him to the red Chambers without much ado. Now that the reality is dawning on him, the consequences of his actions which first saw him being declared surplus to requirement and expelled from the PDP

We, at this juncture wish to reiterate our resolve to protect the image of Enugu North Leaders. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi did marvelously and should be allowed to have some rest after a tedious work as the governor of the state.
Chimaroke Nnamani and his co-travellers should be reminded that throughout the reign of Ugwuanyi, Enugu was dubbed the most peaceful state in the country, a far cry from what was obtainable during the fearful reign of Chiboy.

WHY NDI ENUGU MUST STEP DOWN FURTHER ATTACKS ON FORMER GOVERNOR UGWUANYI

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

The attention of Enugu North Future Leaders Forum has been drawn to some sponsored uncomplimentary remarks, social media slurs and attacks targeting the immediate past governor of the state, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi by some groups masquerading as opposition political party members.
The attacks which emanate from masked hirelings have continued unabated, an indication that the sponsors are not just playing politics but out to rubbish and drag to the mud, the political leaders of Nsukka zone.

While the perpetrators of this social media hooliganism are of the erroneous thought that they are masked and as such shielded from the long arms of the law, we wish to remind them that technology has made it possible to unearth the hands and faces behind the mask and bring them to answer for their series of unsubstantiated allegation and cyber stalking targeting Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Just few days ago, a hired stalker who was unanimously writing and disseminating damaging materials on the image of Dr Dan Shere was fished out and thrown into jail, pending the time he substantiates his allegation against the Opi born political leader.
We are on this note warning those that have been contracted to damage the reputation and perpetrating social media debauchery against Ugwuanyi to desist from such ungodly act as we shall no longer sit and watch the image of Ugwuanyi dragged to the mud by social media hooligans.

It is on record that Ugwuanyi opened the floodgate of youths participation in politics in Enugu. The avalanche of youths emerging victorious at the last election across party length can be traced to Ugwuanyi's government of youths inclusiveness. During the reign of Ugwuanyi, youths with no defined godfathers were given juicy political positions from which they established themselves both politically and financially. Without being exaggerative, greater percentage of youths that vied for different political positions in the last election found their footing through the intervention of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

The former governor after rendering a meritorious service to Ndi Enugu should be accorded with utmost respect and anyone with dissident opinion should go to the appropriate quarters, rather than resorting to social media terrorism.
In as much as Ugwuanyi, throughout his peaceful reign in Enugu did not have the record of taking his traducers to court, we will not hesitate to lias with the relevant authorities to ensure that those cyber-stalking the former governor are fished out and made to face the consequences of their malicious actions.

Without mincing words, we are on this premise indicating our readiness to approach the relevant authorities to investigate the sources and faces behind the series opprobrious materials made to damage the reputation of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. Former governors from other zones are till today being treated like sacred cows while ours has been made an object of ridicule by some unscrupulous elements.
It may be Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi today. No one knows who is next. The time is ripe to protect the image of Nsukka senatorial district!

PoliticsAs Governor Ugwuanyi Passes The Baton Of Leadership To Peter Mbah by IkennaOodo(op): 9:23pm On May 27, 2023
AS GOVERNOR UGWUANYI PASSES THE BATON OF LEADERSHIP TO PETER MBAH

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

In few days time, precisely come May 29, which is only but two days from today, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Executive Governor of Enugu State will pass the baton of leadership to the incoming administration of Peter Mbah, having completed a meritorious-cum fulfilling an uninterrupted two term of eight years at the helm of affairs of the state.
Having emerged victorious at the polls, Peter Mbah, alongside his Deputy Ifeanyi Ossai, will be sworn in at the event slated to hold at the ever-busy Okpara Square Enugu.

As the event draws closer, our nostalgic reminiscence tilts towards the legacies, the exaplamplary leadership qualities of Governor Ugwuanyi. We are, at this juncture, not in any way boring the state with a repetitious story-telling of the plethora of Ugwuanyi's giant strides in infrastructure advancement. The Enugu North Future Leaders Forum wishes to commend the outgoing administration for keeping the state safe and devoid of political skirmishes.

Among the legacies of which Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will be remembered for is his peaceful mien and capability, the knack to keep no political foe. In Imo state for instance, the fight presumably between the incumbent, his predecessor and other political players with vested interest led to the wanton destruction of lives and properties which has continued to linger in the state.

Imo is not alone in the list of states with the unenviable record of civil cum political unrest occasioned by a dichotomous, or better put, the inability of the leader to make headway in the formation of a unified political font.
The scenario above has led to a total collapse of many states in the federation, limiting their respective achievements to merely being able to pay workers salaries, though not without being bailed out by the government at the center.

In Enugu State and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's reign, throughout his eight years sojourn, such scenarios were nipped at the bud. When everyone thought the state was going to chaotically discard the power rotation arrangements through the then ambition of Distinguished Senator Ekweremadu, it took a pragmatic step by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to restore normalcy in the then tensed political atmosphere of the state. Ike's case is one out of several of it's type which were amicable prosecuted. When Governor Ugwuanyi graced the funeral function of Senator Ayogu Eze's in-law almost immediately after the 2019 general election where the later contested against him for the seat of power of the state, most of Ndi Enugu were left in awe.

His Excellency has continued to toe this part of leadership devoid of segregation and it is pertinent we commend him for seeing out his tenure without a defined political foe. Tales abound, in neighboring states, where a mere social media criticism got some people locked behind bars by their governors. Such has never be heard of in the state The last election saw some governors disengaging their appointees believed to have directly or indirectly worked against their success. Enugu was however exempted, despite the fact that the governor lost in his ambition to represent the people of Enugu North senatorial district. In the face of sabotage, Ugwuanyi, in his trademark peaceful conduct, relived none of his appointee of his or her duty.

As the stage becomes set to for his Excellency to handover to Barrister Peter Mbah, we plead with the incoming administration to maintain the peaceful legacy of Ugwuanyi as peace is said to be panacea to success. No sustainable development thrives in an environment where the lives and properties of the inhabitants are not guaranteed.
Ugwuanyi unprecedentedly simplified governance, a fact which has been echoed repeatedly by some opposing party members.
It is our earnest prayer that as Ugwuanyi passes the baton leadership to the successive administration, may the peace, tranquility and atmosphere devoid of political skirmishes be passed unto the next administration.

PoliticsRomance With Chimaroke: Edoga Not A Saint After All by IkennaOodo(op): 9:08pm On Apr 13, 2023
ROMANCE WITH CHIMAROKE: EDOGA NOT A SAINT AFTER ALL

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

The build up to the governorship election in Enugu State was replete with tales, propaganda and distortion of facts especially from the camp of the major opposition party in the state. The social media was awash and bombarded with supposed sordid tales of the administration of former governor of the state, Dr Chimaroke Nnamani.
Conjectures were hurriedly conjured to paint the image of Chimaroke and by extension, his reign in Enugu in bad light.

However, their target was far from being that of the senator representing the people of Enugu East district. Their armour and armories were geared towards the direction of Barrister Peter Mbah, the governor-elect who vied for the position under the umbrella of PDP.

Naysayers who obviously had the premonition of Mbah's electoral triumph unrelentingly attacked him and accused him of belonging to the Ebeano political family which was the brainchild of Chimaroke Nnamani when he held sway as the governor of the state. This, though not unconnected to the fact that Barrister Mbah served as an appointee in the government of Nnamani.

The Ebeano political family was demonized and made to appear distasteful before the people of Enugu. The opposition party, chiefly the Labour Party members seized every opportunity to lambast the name 'Ebeano' and ceaselessly hammered on the alleged misdeeds of Chimaroke Nnamani and his political appointees.

The bandwagon effect of misconception and distortion of facts by the opposition parties however did not deter ndi Enugu from voting en mass during the March 18 governorship election that produced Barrister Mbah as the duly elected governor of the state. To the dismay of naysayers who were basking in the euphoria of sailing under the acceptance of Peter Obi, Mbah emphatically emerged triumphant and unscathed at the polls.

While the electioneering season and castigation of the famed Ebeano family lasted, Chijioke Edoga was politically canonized and exonerated from the supposed blemishes of the Ebeano camp. Edoga's supporters shouted to high heaven, how he has no attachment or entanglement with Chimaroke Nnamani and the once famous Ebeano political family. They espoused an impression that anyone who has had anything to do with Nnamani and Ebeano must have soiled his or her hands.

Post election events have however disabused the erroneous misconception hovering over the political sphere of the state. An unfavorable outing at the polls by Chimaroke Nnamani who has since become an internet sensation has derobed the hitherto saintly tag on Chijioke Edoga. Series of tweets by Nnamani who has since, literally relocated to Tweeter following his loss in his bid to return to the Red Chambers of the Senate have unearthed an age-long relationship between him and Edoga.

A trending recently taken picture of Edoga wearing smiles as he hobnob with Nnamani has since surfaced online following an apology issued by the later to the former. In the said apology 'post' made available on the verified Twitter account of the distinguished senator, he went down memory lane on how Edoga has been a good fellow.
However, Edoga's supporters in disbelief, have continued to disown the picture, saying that it was taken several years ago.

Not that identifying with Nnamani has any negative connotation, but the stance of Edoga's followers before and after election should be best described as a hogwash. Demonizing the Ebeano political family before election and rushing back to commingle with the progenitor typically examplifies the dynamism and unpredictability of a typical politician.

Chijioke Edoga is no saint after all neither is Chimaroke Nnamani and by extension, Ebeano political family a taboo as hitherto stated by the opposition. We as a group have always maintained that election has come and gone and it now behoves on Ndi Enugu to support the incoming government of Peter Mbah for a smooth sailing of his administration.

PoliticsNd'ishi Tradition And Marital Infidelity In Nsukka by IkennaOodo(op): 9:55pm On Apr 07, 2023
ND'ISHI TRADITION AND MARITAL INFIDELITY IN NSUKKA

Have you noticed the rampant increase in the number of mad people roaming the streets of Nsukka especially married women? Do you know that most of the madness are actually avoidable if the women involved had had a proper understanding of the tradition of the land they're married into? Do you know that a good number of this madness is as a result of the ladies involved having slept with other men other than their husbands? What are those things a married woman must do to avoid falling into this dangerous trap in Nsukka?

Among the cultural zones of Igboland, the Nsukka Igbos (Igbo Nsukka) seem to have the most revered marriage institutions. This is informed by the zero tolerance of the people's tradition towards adultery especially on the part of the married women having an extra marital affairs with other men outside their husband. A good number of reports abound concerning women who either ran mad or died mysteriously on account of cheating on their husbands.

This part of tradition where adulterous wives face mysterious consequences is what the Nsukka Igbos call "Nd'ishi" or "Nna Di" making reference to the ancestors whose eyes are believed to be watchful on the ladies married into the land. A lot of women who fell victim of this tradition did so mostly as a result of ignorance on the danger of their actions and how this aspect of the people's tradition works.

This book is a detailed explanation on the concept of Nd'ishi/Nna Di in Igbo Nsukka cosmology. The book goes into details on the origin of the tradition and goes deeper into explaining its mysteries and mode of operations. Different Igbo Nsukka communities are highlighted and how this tradition works in each of the respective communities with Enugu Ezike coming at the forefront in terms of zero tolerance.

The book goes into details to analyse situations of exception and the ritual of appeasement for the woman that transgressed. Also captured in the book are the paternity of a child in Igbo Nsukka where the ownership of a child is established either by the man or the woman; woman to woman marriage is also elucidated as well as all those nuances that inform the marital institutions in Igbo Nsukka.

The book is quite rich in in-depth analysis of marriage institutions among the Nsukka Igbos and recommended especially for the ladies that may marry an Nsukka man as it will go a long way in opening their eyes on how to fall into the trap of Nd'ishi/Nna Di.

PoliticsDid Nsukka Migrate From Igala? by IkennaOodo(op): 8:39pm On Apr 07, 2023
DID NSUKKA MIGRATE FROM IGALA?

Are the shared names between the two distinct neighbours of Nsukka and Igala, pointers to a common line of origin and migration, or simply the price of conquest universally common in the history of penances of tributary states?

Or, are there even equal or, at least, other evidences of Nsukka's cultural influence on Igala too on which the grounds of a reversed line of argument can be equally premised; a counter which, if refuted, may lead to a balanced suggestion that, in spite of the conquest of some parts of the former by the later, cultural influences between the two nation-states have been historically mutual and, therefore, do not provide any sufficient condition to premise the argument of the origin or migration of one from the other?

To what extent can oral history's attachment of the origin and migration of Nsukka to Igala be accused of or absorbed of the very status of historical mockery and assault one always feels in the historification of the discovery of the Niger by Mungo Park? And how right can it be to dismiss the theorists of this Nsukka-migrated-from-Igala, by such propositions as "please, they came before Columbus", in a sense, before Igala, Nsukka was?

Dear reader, I do not wish to provoke you beyond this, I choose rather to leave the discovery of the truth and the resolution of the complications of history to your care. But I assure you, you will end reading Ekene Ugwuanyi's interrogations of history widely different than before you met him.

ON THE RASCALITY OF ENUGU LABOUR PARTY MEMBERS; WHY THE AUTHORITY SHOULD BE ON ALERT

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

Ever since Chijioke Edoga failed in his ambition to vie for the seat of Enugu State governor under the umbrella of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), it has been a propaganda galore aimed at painting the image of the eventual winner of the PDP's governorship primary election in bad image.
Recall that Edoga slugged it out with Barrister Peter Mbah and other aspirants for the sole ticket of the party's governorship which saw the later emerging victorious, a development that didn't go down well with Edoga and his supporters.

Upon Edoga's decamp to Labour Party in pursuance of his governorship ambition, the tide of propaganda, falseful representation of facts and unbridled mudslinging unprecedentedly rose up in the polity of the state. Anyone, irrespective of gender, religious and traditional position presumed not to have considered Edoga's ambition fanciful readily became subject of attack.
No one was spared, not even pastors, priests and other clergymen. It was more of a coordinated attack, albeit simultaneous against the good people of Ndi Enugu.

They didn't stop at that, as they stampeded the church into partisan politics. The church, particularly the Roman Catholic was thrown into turmoil as it became polarized on the subject of Edoga's ambition. In some Parishes in rural areas particularly in Enugu North senatorial district, daily morning Mass were imposed on parishioners. The sudden daily morning Mass was a strategy to further dip the garment of the church in the murky waters of politics. This is as the daily morning Mass was used as an avenue to 'evangelize' the ambition of Edoga to the hapless and unsuspecting rural dwellers.

While these anomalous events took place, ndi Enugu kept their cool with the hope that electioneering period always comes with such uneventful scenarios. Despite the shenanigans of Labour Party in the state, ndi Enugu spoke unanimously through the ballot and elected Barrister Peter Mbah at the polls, though not without Labour Party again holding the electoral body on the jugular in a futile bid to stop the announcement of governorship election results in the state.

It has always been a norm that after elections, governance sets in. But the reverse seems to be the case with the Enugu State chapter of Labour Party as they have continued in their illicit political trade of propaganda, character assassination and upped the game with the introduction and dissemination inciting materials capable of breaching the peace of Ndi Enugu.
We are at this juncture calling on the relevant authorities to keep tab on the activities of some overzealous labour party members in the state as their utterances ad social media activities is capable of inciting violence with an attendant destruction of lives and properties in the state.

PoliticsPeter Mbah's Certificate Of Many Returns For Ndi Enugu by IkennaOodo(op): 9:27pm On Apr 03, 2023
PETER MBAH'S CERTIFICATE OF MANY RETURNS FOR NDI ENUGU

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

His Excellency, Barrister Peter Ndubuisi Mbah the governor-elect of Enugu State was presented with his certificate of return as the officially, INEC-certified winner in the recently held governorship election in the State.

The event saw dignitaries from various walks of life trooping out to identify with the governor-elect and his Deputy, Barrister Ifeanyi Ossai.
Shortly after the ceremony, Mbah while addressing the jubilant Ndi Enugu, thanked them for the massive support and confidence reposed in him which were loudly echoed through the ballot.
He reiterated his resolve to reward Ndi Enugu abundantly upon taking over the mantle of leadership from Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Specifically, he revisited his prior pledge to dualize the Abakpa, Ugwuogo-Nike-Nsukka road, build a monorail from Enugu to Nsukka, Udi, Awgu and construct a ring road to connect all 17 local government areas of the State.
One can not, in the face of Peter Mbah's countenance feign ignorance of his readiness to transform Enugu.
He has stated, during the campaign, how his administration mapped out a pragmatic blueprint to keep the state going forward and in continuation of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's giant strides in infrastructure.

With the foregoing, one can rightly aver that the certificate of return presented to Peter Mbah should be best described as a certificate of bountiful returns to Ndi Enugu.
We are therefore urging the people of Enugu State to rally round and form synergy with the incoming government of Mbah as he has a feasible clear-cut template to sustain the glory of the state.

ATTACK ON PETER MBAH'S CONVOY: ENUGU LABOUR PARTY WALKING THE TALK OF ELECTORAL VIOLENCE

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

Standing before his supporters and party stalwarts in Igbo Eze South area of the state, Barrister Okey Ezeah who was declared winner in the recently held senatorial election said in a trending video, how his party (Labour Party) is ready to win the governorship election in the state at all cost. He continued by threatening that the forthcoming election will be a do-or-die afair. The video has however continued to attract condemnation from different quarters as it negates the peace accord reached prior to the election.

In what appears to be an act depicting readiness in making good the threat of visiting electoral violence on the state, the convoy of Barrister Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the PDP candidate in the upcoming guber election in the State was brutally attacked by thugs at a Catholic Youth program held at Ugwudinso Parish.
According to reports making rounds on the internet, the thugs in their numbers, were drove into the venue of the Youths Retreat program just before the arrival of Mbah and his entourage ostensibly to cause mayhem and by extension instil fear in the hearts of ndi Enugu.

We condemn in it's entirety, the inglorious event at Ugwudinso Parish that is capable of reinvigorating and visiting electoral carnage on the state. Enugu has been a peaceful state and no ambition of any political player is worth the destruction of the peace being enjoyed under Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi administration.
We also urge the relevant authorities to rise to the occasion by ensuring that those beating the drums of war in the state are not allowed to have their way.

When the witch cries at night and the child dies the next morning, the hands behind the death of the said child is not located far from the environment. Those that have been threatening fire and brimestone should be closely monitored and held responsible for any breach of security during and after the election coming up in the state.

PoliticsAs You Go Out To Vote, Consider The Future Of Your Children by IkennaOodo(op): 6:14am On Feb 25, 2023
Sometimes this month, I wrote a publication to the Newspapers, in that publication I told Nigerians: "in our hands once again is that significant power of a tenure: we must either choose between bottles of champagne for few or safe drinking water for all"

Fellow country men and women, the hour has come and before us is the periodic power to choose between bottles of champagne for a few persons or safe drinking water for all. It is also before us in our hands: the power over life and over death. We must choose one and bear the loss or benefits for the next four years. As you go out to cast your votes, remember the avoidable pains and hardship you passed through because of failed leadership. Remember also, most importantly, the future, the future of your children. You are deciding who spearhead the organized destruction or protection of their future this day. Remember also, most unforgettingly, to add 8 years to your current age and then decide if you can afford to waste another 8 years of your life because of bad government.

PoliticsWhy We Should Vote Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi For Senate by IkennaOodo(op): 9:03am On Feb 22, 2023
WHY WE SHOULD VOTE GOVERNOR IFEANYI UGWUANYI FOR SENATE

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

1) ACCESSIBILITY: Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi redefined governance with an unprecedented level of his accessibility to the masses. Before the coming of Ugwuanyi, a governor's motorcade is seen rarely in Enugu, unlike in the administration of Ugwuanyi where he is seen identifying with masses irrespective of societal status. Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi despite his status calls and receives phone calls from the masses without being put through some rigorous protocols.

2) YOUTHS ENGAGEMENT: The administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi prides as one with the highest number of youths participation in governance across the country.
It is on record that the acronym 'Youths O'clock' was invented by the administration of governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. The state phenomenon has led the emergence of youths as council chairmen in virtually all the council areas in the state. This, unprecedented in the history of the state, also led to the appointment of youths into juicy positions.

GENTILITY: The administration of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, despite the volume of campaigns of calumny on social media has never been involved in the persecution of any dissident voice from the opposition parties. This is unlike in several states in the federation where opposition elements are locked behind bars for a mere social media post.

SECURITY: The government of Ugwuanyi has been envied for the Midas touch shown in the handling of insecurity in the state. Despite being a gateway to the northern part of the country where bandits and terrorists reign supreme, Enugu State under the excellent leadership of Ugwuanyi has been able to safeguard the state with some decisive security measures thus earning the tag of the most peaceful state in the country.

PoliticsYouths, Group Deny Endorsing Okey Ezea, Describes Him As A Daydreamer by IkennaOodo(op): 9:54am On Feb 20, 2023
YOUTHS, GROUP DENY ENDORSING OKEY EZEA, DESCRIBES HIM AS A DAYDREAMER

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

Youths under the auspice of Ajara Youths Association has debunked the purported endorsement of Barrister Okey Ezeah, the senatorial candidate of the Labour Party. The youths in their numbers, categorically impugned what they described as a calculated attempt to mislead the general public by Ezea who is jostling to represent the people of Enugu North senatorial district in the forthcoming general election.

Recall that media handlers of Barrister Ezea had, few days ago reported that youths in Ajara village, Umuida community in Igbo Eze North local government area of the state endorsed and adopted the labour party candidate as their choice going to the polls.
However, in debunking the said reportage, the community Youth leader Comrade Ikechukwu Mamah said the reported endorsement is the figment of imaginations of Okey Ezeah and his few supporters in the village.

He said: "let me tell you what happened, Okey Ezeah visited the home of one of his few supporters in our village and after being entertained with some crates of beer and garden egg, one of the youths in his entourage rose up and started endorsing him on behalf of a people who were not even aware of their visit to the village.

"Okey Ezeah does not have a single poster or sign that he is existing or even vying for any elective position in our village. In fact, it was on the day they visited that they scantily and fearfully pasted his posters (which were not more than 7 pieces) along the village road. It is daydreaming on the part of Okey Ezeah to think that Umuida community will leave Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi who gave us several kilometers of road and other juicy infrastructures to vote for him."

The Youth leader concluded by stating that Ajara people and Umuida community at large knows no other candidate not political party other than the PDP and her candidates. He reiterated their support for Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in his senatorial bid, Barrister Peter Mbah's governorship bid and other candidates of the party.

PoliticsThese Are Facts Not Fallacies About Hon. Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga by IkennaOodo(op): 5:16pm On Feb 19, 2023
These are facts not fallacies about Hon. Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga

The Labour Party Gubernatorial candidate should also be reminded that he was/is part of this same PDP system (in Enugu state) he is claiming that it is a failure.

Edeoga served Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo during his time as Governor.

He served as Local Government Chairman.

He served as House of Representatives Member (head juicy committees Chairman).

He served Fmr Deputy Senate President Sen. Ike Ekweremadu CFR as legislative aide under PDP.

Also, Edeoga served as Presidential aide to HE Goodluck Jonathan under PDP.

He later became a Commissioner for Environment under Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi, where he served for good seven (7) years plus (under PDP).

Just yesterday, he decamped to Labour_Party when his interest seems not granted in PDP.

Questions:

1. Can Edeoga tell us his efforts to correct what he is currently preaching when he was serving in the above mentioned political positions?

2. He should tell us any developmental projects he attracted or executed in his LGA Isi-Uzo during the time he was occupying the above political positions?

3. He should also tell us why he contested seriously under the same party (PDP) when he knew that the party had failed as he alleged?

4. Let him publish the roads leading to his locality, possibly his hometown, let us compare and contrast?

5. He was the Chief Editor LGA News Newspaper, a newspaper known for showcasing the good governance of PDP in Enugu State, what can he tell us about it?

Notably, the SUVs he's using to Campaign against PDP is from PDP government.

Attacking a system he is part and parcel of is nothing but deceit to his gullible followers.

What else has he noted gotten from PDP?

No doubt, most of us in Enugu state are going to vote for Mr. Peter Obi for President irrespective of our political party.

However, anyone forming saint because he joined Labour Party "just dey play"!

There is a huge difference between being Obidient and being in Labour Party.

SUMAS IGBO ENO: UGWUANYI HAS SHOT NSUKKA ZONE INTO NATIONAL LIMELIGHT

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

When Jim Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo, the then governor of Old Anambra State conceptualized the idea of building then Anambra State University Of Technology ( ASUTECH), he may not have envisaged that the school was going to metamorphose into various academic institutions that have catalyzed human and socio-economic developments in the respective host communities.
The creation of Enugu State however led to the forfeiture of the institution's campus in Abakiliki to the equally newly created Ebonyi State.

Consequently, now named ESUT, the college of medicine was moved to Nsukka. However, in the year 2005, the then administration of Chimaroke Nnamani as governor of Enugu State relocated the college of medicine in Nsukka to Parklane Hospital Enugu and upgraded to a teaching hospital. Not done yet, a year later, the university was moved to it's permanent site at Agbani by Chimaroke Nnamani thus shooting the hitherto quiet Agbani town to the consciousness of the nation.

Upon the relocation of the medical college from Nsukka, the zone painstakingly went into search for a commensurate health institution-cum facility to take care of the challenging health needs of the zone.
The search continued untill the emergence of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, as his administration rose to the occasion to address the various challenges facing Nsukka zone.

Few days ago, precisely on the 16th day of February 2023, history was made in the Nsukka senatorial district as his Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi unveiled the newly built State University of Medical and Applied Science (SUMAS) located in Igbo Eno. The university, first of it's kind after the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) was started and completed by the administration of Ugwuanyi to address the various health challenges facing the people of Nsukka zone and state at large.

We, at this juncture wish to commend his Excellency for his various landmark accomplishments in Enugu State and Nsukka zone in particular. The university, Stadium, various modern health facilities scattered around the zone and good road networks, Governor Ugwuanyi has done noble for ndi Nsukka . The university which has since began admission is expected to bring the zone at par with the rest of others in healthcare delivery and human/socio-economic developments.
It is on record that Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe opened up Nsukka zone to the world when be brought University Of Nigeria to the zone.

We also wish to reiterate our resolve to vote for the governor in his bid to represent the people of Enugu North senatorial district in the forthcoming National Assembly election under the umbrella of PDP. This is because, like the late Zik, Ugwuanyi has again shot the district into national limelight. We are not oblivious of the huge and accompanying gains that follow the building of a university in a modern society.

The event of Peter Obi's political visit to Enugu has come and gone but the tales and, in other words, accomplishments from the said visit has continued to be on the front burner and dominate political chats, as Edoga and his camp have continued to flaunt and circulate several pictures taken with the presidential candidate of Labour Party.
Chijioke Edoga, the embattled and factional governorship candidate of Labour Party in Enugu has been battling to retain his candidacy in the hands of Captain Evarest Nnaji who's equally laying claims to the governorship ticket.

Flanked on both sides by Barrister Okey Ezea, the now tired and silent senatorial candidate of the party for the Enugu North senatorial district and some other political players from Nsukka extraction, Edoga successful took photographs with Mr Peter Obi without having to shout himself coarse as was the case on an earlier attempt.
Recall that at a private function few months ago in Enugu, Edoga and some of his disciples were summarily disgraced when they attempted to take photographs with Obi.

Having been made to slug it out with Obi's orderlies, Edoga, after successfully shrugging off and elbowing his way to access Peter Obi, was greeted with a cold arm treatment when Obi exhibited an indifference disposition towards him and his rampaging and heavily clothed followers.
At the peak of the show of shame, Edoga had to, from the back, shout to the hearing of Obi that he is the governorship candidate of the party in the state.

As if Obi was hard in hearing, Edoga's followers joined suit in the 'shouting match' in a bid to attract the interest of Obi who was focused on exchanging pleasantries with other dignitaries rather than the impish Edoga and his men.
On sensing the near-stampede scenario and life-threatening desperation from the uninvited guests, Obi's security had to whisk him away from the tight grips of Edoga who was literally holding to his clothes to accomplish his mission of taking several shots of photographs with him.

Edoga's breakthrough definitely came when Obi visited Enugu for his presidential campaign. Standing, sitting and almost kneeing, Edoga made sure he was photographed with Obi who was solely campaigning for his presidential election without giving a hoot of Edoga's political ambition. Of course, Obi knows the mammoth crowd was for him, not that of Edoga, Okey Ezea and other opportunistic players hiding under his banner to sell their bad images.

Traditionally, presidential rally is an avenue to present the party's flagbearers to the general public, ceremoniously done with the presentation of party flags to the governorship candidate and others, but in Enugu, the interested parties were only after group photographs, what a lifetime accomplishment!
It is becoming crystal clear that Edoga's and his Nsukka group are really not interested or rather prepared for the rigorous journey to the Lion building.
Now that Obi has given them the lifetime opportunity of a group photograph, it is high time they leave the political space on Enugu for the serious and prepared players.

EDOGA'S FADING LION BUILDING PROJECT.

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

The camp of the embattled and factional governorship candidate of Labour Party in Enugu State, Barrister Chijioke Edoga rolled out drums few days ago in celebration after an appeal court ruling set aside the nullification of the candidacy of Edoga by the federal high court, few weeks ago. The tone of their celebration gave pointer to the fact that indeed, the court judgement was the needed turbine to fire the now fading, worn-out and withering gubernatorial ambition of Chijioke Edoga. In fact, Edoga and his now diminishing followers had both their Christmas and New year celebration only after the court judgement.

We are the Enugu North Future Leaders Forum, an auspice of youths and aspiring future leaders of Enugu North senatorial zone having, with keen interest, followed proceedings trailing the race for the successor of governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi at Lion building can state, without mincing words, that Chijioke Edoga, the embattled and factional governorship candidate of labour party has lost the public sympathy, charisma and enthusiasm to embark on the rigorous journey, or rather, his now elusive ambition to govern ndi Enugu either by hook or crook.

This can be notably seen in the now fading and dwindling charisma with which he has embarked on his election campaign. The paucity of funds occasioned by the cold arm treatment from the federal level of the party, the development of cold feet by those who Edoga had hinged his hope to finance his campaign and notably, the lingering court cases that has seen his candidacy dangling on a tiny rope.

Edoga's supposed triumph at the Appeal court is more like a momentary respite to his camp as the case has gone to supreme Court. In fact, it was a short-lived celebration upon learning that his case has dragged to the supreme Court. So in essence, Edoga's candidacy is still shrouded with uncertainty. Just few weeks to the commencement of general election yet Enugu State chapter of Labour Party is yet to produce a candidate. This unfortunate development has chiefly been the reason behind Peter Obi's snubbing of Edoga. On several occasions that the presidential candidate of the party visited Enugu, he gave no hoot about Edoga and his now elusive ambition.

In fact, in one the occasions Peter Obi visited Enugu, he rode straight to meet Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi ostensibly to solicit for his support and that of the party. This then confirms the assertion that Obi does not have faith in the state chapter of the party. The climax of this rejection surfaced when Edoga attempted to foist himself on Obi for mere photographs. Of course, no one invests in a journey billed to fail. Edoga and his camp's shenanigans are not unknown to Obi hence the long arm treatment.

Even if Edoga emerges as the authentic candidate of Labour Party in the state, what magic can he perform, having gone exhausted even before the commencement of election. Probably sensing the premonition of electoral doom awaiting him, Edoga has been running from pillar to post in pursuit of a shortcut into the state government house. This has been the reason behind his quest to be joined in a suit fearfully filed by one Chika Idoko, a political rookie basking in the euphoria of media frenzy and praying the court to disqualify all the candidates of PDP.

How low can Edoga and his bandwagon get? Placing one's hope on the social media exuberance of a certain Chika Idoko who's ordinarily seeking for an avenue to grow his social media audience and possibly stuff his pocket with money for pap and beer. A two time commissioner and federal lawmaker relying on a neophyte who has since tucked his lips into his mouth to ride into Government House. This is laughable. Edoga has become a comic relief of sort to NDI Enugu.

PoliticsEdeoga, Ideke Sponsored By Nnia Nwodo After Destabilizing Igbo Etiti by IkennaOodo(op): 8:48am On Feb 15, 2023
Nnia Nwodo, the man behind the setbacks and destabilization in Igbo Etiti is their sponsor and godfather. The English man said something about "like father like son". May the afflictions and principalities and powers of darkness holding Igbo Etiti never extends its tentacles beyond in the mighty name of Jesus.

Before you vote either of these candidates, first of all go to Igbo Etiti, the home of Nnia Nwodo and see how destabilised and backward it is because of him. The only good structure in the whole of Igbo Etiti is Nwodo's family cemetery. Aside that structure, every other thing in Igbo Etiti including human beings are in disarray and crying foul and desperate for emancipation from the bondage of Nwodo's.

Nwodo, since antiquities is holding Igbo Etiti asphyxiatingly by the jugular. This is exactly what he wants to turn the entire Enugu State and rest of us into. That reminds me: a great Russian novelist, Balzac once said: "if your son is not doing better than you, you have fathered him in vain". Nobody needs to be told that Edeoga and Ideke will do better than Nwodo, at least by pulling the whole of Enugu State from the pinnacle of fame to abyss of disgrace, they are the sons of their father Nnia Nwodo, the affl!ction that h!t Igbo Etiti.

RE-ON JIM'S ORDERS, GOVERNOR UGWUANYI SWINGS BACK TO 'PDP ALL THE WAY'.
OPPOSITION PARTIES AND FAKE NEWS MERCHANDISE

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

It has yet again, been drawn to the attention of Enugu North Future Leaders Forum, a preposterous publication originating from a masked writer, a fake analyst whose fraudulent services have been employed by the opposition political parties in Enugu State in their futile attempts to de-market the PDP and her candidates across the state.
To evade the inquisitive eyes of good people of Enugu State, the conspirators opted for a fake name, unknown to them that the hands of Esau are always visible to everyone.

Among the barefaced lies that were bandied in the poorly constructed article allegedly written by Enugu Monitor, an equally questionable online newspaper notorious for character assassination and dissemination of falsehood are that the former governor of Enugu State Jim Nwobodo ordered Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to work against the candidature of Peter Obi and support that of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP.
To start with, it is a public knowledge that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is a member of G5 governors, a group of governors that are protesting the outcome of the party's presidential primary election.

Till date, governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and other members of the G-5 team have made their stand known concerning the choice of presidential candidate. It is only a writer in an inebriated state that will posit that Jim Nwobodo ordered governor Ugwuanyi to take a political stand not endorsed by the G-5 governors forum who, few weeks ago, thronged the state to take part in the official PDP campaign flag off in the state. The conspirators forgot to acknowledge that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has never spoken against Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party in any of his campaigns and rallies across the state. Not even other candidates of the PDP have spoken against Peter Obi in any of the campaigns. One then wonders where Enugu Monitor who are unable to monitor their publication got their stories from.

To reveal the hands and face behind the mask, the fake writer was unable to resist the urge of bringing up activities that transpired during the PDP governorship primary election which saw Chijioke Edoga sent through the lonely political road of Golgotha. He didn't stop at that as the writer went ahead to highlight how Jim Nwobodo was allegedly given #20M to endorse Peter Mbah, the governorship candidate of PDP; how Chimaroke was suspended from the PDP; the alleged case with the EFCC and how Peter Mbah is facing disqualification by the court. What the writer forgot to state was that Chijioke Edoga was the one behind the post.

Edoga has been running from pillar to post in a futile attempt to impose himself on ndi Enugu. Enugu Monitor whose real identify is not unknown to the public also emphasized on Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi receiving Atiku Abubakar at the airport as being a directive from national leadership of the PDP. Well, it is only Edoga and his defeated warriors that do not know that it is the statutory function of a sitting governor to receive a former vice president of the federal republic of Nigeria.

It is regrettable that the opposition parties chiefly led by Chijioke Edoga have endlessly engaged in political free-for-all, denigratory roping prominent sons and daughters of ndi Enugu in their shenanigans. Jim Nwobodo as a former governor of the state has distinguished himself in the polity of Enugu and should be accorded due respect irrespective of political affiliations.
It is good as Chijioke Edoga has emerged as the governorship candidate of Labour Party. This is a good opportunity to test his popularity, rather than allegedly sponsoring false publications on non-existent online newspapers.

PoliticsAlleged Nysc Certificate Forgery And Labour Party's Endless Quest For A Shortcut by IkennaOodo(op): 10:44pm On Feb 07, 2023
ALLEGED NYSC CERTIFICATE FORGERY AND LABOUR PARTY'S ENDLESS QUEST FOR A SHORTCUT INTO LION BUILDING

(Enugu North Future Leaders Forum)

At Las Vegas, Nevada during an UFC fight between the boastful, pompous and cunning Irish fighter Conor McGregor in the year 2021, it was a quite dramatic encounter as the Irish man, despite his antics prior to the fight, to disqualify his opponent, did not only lost in the fight as he also suffered a broken leg in the bout. The fighter has since, almost slid into oblivon.

The scenario above has continued to repeatedly occur in the political sphere in Enugu State where the state ruling party governorship candidate, Barrister Peter Ndubuisi Mbah will be slugging it out with the likes of Chijioke Edoga, the acclaimed candidate of Labour Party and the near-existence duo of Uchenna Nnaji and Frank Nweke Jnr of APC and APGA respectively.

Among the the aspirants from the state opposition parties, it is only the certain Chijioke Edoga that has continued to exhibit an inordinate ambition to govern the state at all cost. Since the hurried composition of Labour Party in Enugu State, the party and her candidates have continued to stampede the electoral body into accepting the party and her candidates as the sole participants in the forthcoming election in the state.

The Labour Party and her power-thirsty candidates sponsored a suit against the PDP and her candidates through the clout-chasing political greenhorn called Chika Idoko from an equally mushroom political party called ADC. The suit, though an exercise of one's fundamental human rights has since gone cold and awaiting striking out for lack of merit. Not satisfied with the outcome of the suit against PDP candidates through the boyish Chika Idoko, Labour Party again converged to explore ways of bypassing the rigorous electoral process to gain access into the state's seat of power.

While the PDP and her candidates embarked on election campaigns and canvassing for votes from the electorates, the labour party, a fallout of their meeting on how to sneak into Lion building emerged with a jingle they called "ego ndi Enugu". The shameful, envious and obscene jingle reasonably presumed to have been produced by Enugu State chapter of Labour Party targeted the private establishments of the governorship candidate of PDP, Barrister Peter Mbah. The jingle was however, upon release, dismissed and condemned by well-meaning people of the state and country at large.

The latest antics of Labour Party in the state targeting the governorship candidate of PDP is an alleged forgery of NYSC certificate by Mbah. The 'news' which the members of the party are seemingly mandated to circulate is coming from a clandestine group with an ambiguous group name. The group, according to them is seeking the disqualification of Mbah on the premise of having a forged NYSC certificate. The group, a brainchild of the desperate Labour Party are the real forgers as the letter they alleged to have come from the NYSC does not have the signature of any known NYSC official.

One then wonders why Labour Party and their cohorts are afraid of Peter Mbah as they have been endlessly exploring ways to avoid him at the polls. We are at this juncture urging the general public to disregard the antics of the opposition parties. Peter Mbah duly completed his national orientation program in the year 2002 and everyone is free to approach the NYSC for clarification, other than relying on the shenanigans of desperados who are only trying to sneak into the state seat of power from the backdoor. Like the cunning fighter who sought the disqualification of his opponent, Labour Party and other opposition parties will slug it out with the PDP and the result already known to everyone.

PoliticsAtigwe's Acceptance At Its Highest Ebb by IkennaOodo(op): 3:42pm On Feb 06, 2023
ATIGWE's ACCEPTANCE AT ITS HIGHEST EBB.

It has been a moment of Glory for the indefatigable, approachable and humble member representing Igbo-Eze North/Udenu federal constituency Hon. Simon Chukwuemeka Atigwe, as his acceptance and political credibility continues to gain momentum. Few days ago, the NNPP Igbo-Eze North/Udenu federal constituency candidate, Hon. Ude Eeke during the PDP campaign tour at Umuitodo ward 1 Amufie stepped down for the magnetic Hon. Atigwe and advised his supporters to massively vote for Hon. Atigwe and other PDP candidates. The mammoth crowd that came out to welcome the Igbo-Eze North PDP went into wild jubilation following the incident.

To keen observers, this did not come as a surprise given the quality and people oriented representation Hon. Atigwe has rendered.

Out of the 30 wards he represents, about 80% has been touched with one project or the other, with a close source revealing that some communities are on the pipe line to receive good news in the coming weeks.
On this note, it is pertinent to ask what makes Hon. Atigwe thick.

Recall that Hon. Ude's community Amufie has already benefited a class room block facilitated by Hon. Atigwe.

Suffice it to say that Hon. Atigwe has a midas touch but it is not everyone that God gives a lemon that turns it to lemonade, some like Shakespeare said had greatness thrust upon them but could not manage it, they were urbane and aloof which detached them from the masses, no wonder there was a paradigm shift with the advent of Hon. Atigwe who redefined representation and leadership, with a rich bureaucratic experience given his civil service years. Hon. Atigwe in 2019 was poised for a superb delivery and he did not disappoint.

If Amufie was a success story, Ozzi ward 7 Umuida was a bumper harvest as they reiterated their irrevocable decision to reciprocate PDP's magnanimity to them, they assured Hon. Atigwe and other PDP candidates that their votes shall come in blocks.

As the campaign train continues to the rest of the 20 wards in Igbo-Eze North council, it promises to be strong assurance for PDP.
