AbdulMagaji: Go and check it again.
Government only provide basic education to it's citizens.
Nursery education is not part of it but most private schools run it in combination with primary school.
If you are a mother, you can decide to personally coach your child (@ age 0 - 5) at home. This can serve as a nursery education. That sucks |

AbdulMagaji: Nigerian public schools are where all kinds get enrolled in simply because it's almost free tuition. so you have the very bright ones and also the dullards (unserious ones) as students, This is also obtainable in all public schools world wide. There are so many Nigerian students from public schools who can stand toe to toe with the best from Harvard. It's all depends on ones strength and brain capacity.
The poor infrastructures in Nigerian schools are the main reason why ASUU goes on regular strike actions so as to pressure the government with more funding into it's school system. I meant public Nigerian nursery and primary schools not universities Nigerians don't mind going to public universities But nursery and primary they prefer private schools |

AbdulMagaji: In Nigeria - People take their kids to private schools just to show off , to have bragging rights , to define inequality between the Rich and poor.
But when it comes to knowledge gain, private schools are facades, they are like where docile chickens are rared. so why do public school produce bush graduates And why can't the government upgrade The schools buildings |

Trash Abroad, rich men don't mind sending their children to public school If there's a problem especially if they get kicked out of their private schools or they become broke Not a big deal, if they have to go to a public school. .if it's meant to be But in Nigeria, public schools are for gatemens, and house girls It's like an embarrassment, if you live in Nigeria |
