Tflex01: Nairaland and it’s penchant for denigrating anything SW.
Every single soul on NL knows the kind of person this op is and how he always denigrate people from a particular section of the country but that’s the kind of persons the Nairaland mods are promoting on this forum I am from SW I was born in Akure sunshine city So far from it, I can not denigrate my city |

FalseProphet1: I see the foul smell reaching the entire country. I see content creators using it to make money, I see pastors organizing large crusades and making billions from it because people are afraid of the smell.
I see tinubu and his data boys blaming Peter Obi for the smell, I see Donald Trump attributing the smell to bandits and boko harm, I see Gumi telling tinubu to negotiate with bandits so that the smell will stop, I see Peter Obi traveling to Bangladesh to understand how to get rid of foul smell.
This I have seen. You still dey see this your nonsense |

Yes
There's this smell/odour in the air every midnight
I arrived Akure last week for an assignment and I have been putting up somewhere but everybody around me has been complaining that there is a peculiar smell rendering the air every midnight but I have not perceived it though maybe because I sleep with the windows shut ( security reasons )
My sister is a resident there and she talks about it everytime she calls me so today I went on Facebook and I searched a community and to my surprise Facebookers in Akure have been lamenting about it for the past few weeks
Some even say it extends to Ekiti, some say even Ogun.
Nobody happens to know the cause or source but they claim that it seems to have reached the nostrils of the government too.
What's happening now?
I never heard it on the news even though I hear news all d time
Any body have an idea ?
I think it might be from one factory/industry, it must be a kind of fume and may be infact toxic.
Who knows?
Pls let's talk about this before a pandemic is in our hands |

LordLicifer: I agree, but just because he didn't use the gun in this case doesn't mean he wouldn't next time if need be.
There are so many jobs he could have done to survive than to carry gun and pretend to be a armed robber. He needs to be purnished to teach him lesson and maybe rehabilitated from whatever stress he is suffering from I agree... |
