Please what's the cause of a 2012 Hyundai accent with automatic gear having the following issues:

It has a slow acceleration. Sometimes when I have to go over a speed bump, the car appears not to have enough drive power except I move back and go over with some speed.

Secondly it jerks when I am switching gears

Good morning great minds most especially my 'Ogas' in house.
May God continues to increase you in wisdom and knowledge.

Please has anyone held about Oxford gold investment. They are into land, real estate, capital...etc.

They give 30% interest.

My questions are:
1. Has anyone invested with company and what is your experience.
2. How do they meet up with present economy situation.
3. Is it advisable to invest with the company.
4. What's your personal opinion about the company and there package.

Please your contributions will help new investors like me.

Thank you in advance.
Generally speaking, real estate investment has been known to achieve a modest 15% annually. Anything more than this might be suspicious.

In any case do your due diligence. Some questions to get you started:

1. How long have they been in business?

2. Any verifiable success story to boast of?

3. What's their winning strategy above competition?

4. Who are their clients/customers?

Wish you best of luck!

I am not experienced in this but i have been looking at some. Usually, the developers lease the land from land owners for say 30 years.
Then sell apartment to you for X years. You don't own those properties forever, and it can't be passed on to your family.
More like a declining balance investment, you cannot use the Capital to rent to calculate how good such investments are.
Thanks sir.

ok not bad tb has crashed futher to 1.33
They really look good but small and portable in size.

Probably I will look for someone with same investment decision and go into partnering as a willing counterpart so we could join forces to go through all these loopholes.

See one of the block of miniflats on a half plot (25" x 100" not even a standard size plot set) I visited to assess viability. This one rented out for 500k each. 9nos of such on 2 storey building. The owner added another third floor where he moved into.

Area is Ijesha

Rent

Mini flat (1sitting room, 1 bedroom, 1 toilet/bathroom, 1 kitchen) goes for average 400k

Self contain ( 1 room, 1 kitchen, 1 toilet/bathroom ) 250k

Three bedroom flats are not very high in demand there...

Very good, make enquiries about other expenses like Omonile, LASG approval and include them into your overall budget. Involve a trusted law firm or estate management firm in your transaction.

While shopping for the next investment outlet, move your cash to a money market fund
Hello sir,

A very interesting and important perspective you just pointed at now.

Issue of omonile, 419, troubled lands/plots, extended court cases, bad workmen and workmanship, inferior or substandard materials etc. Navigating through all these will definitely wittle down your investment capital or increase if not disappear your carpital.

I wish there was an easy way around these. But are REITs any better?

Please I have NTB which I bought at 12.4% worth about 47m maturing on the 13th of August this year. I need objective advise on what next to do as this is my main source of upkeep monthly.

Half plots in Surulere sell for about 12m and people build 1bedroom mini flat and studio apartment on a 2 storey building for about 35m.

Generally rent for such apartment go for 450 to 350k respectively. I visited a site where a developer was doing 4nos mini flat on each floor of the 2storey building. He said he'll be renting out for 400k each In a nutshell, expected returns annually is about 4.5m.

Now that NTB rates has taken a nosedive, would this be a good investment? What are the pros and cons? Any banana peels to avoid? What other investment are available to try that guarantee capital preservation?
