Hello guys! I've been a guest to this Great Forum for sometimes now! And I must confess that Nairaland is one of the best things that has happened to me. I actually created my account today simply because I want to be more active and also use my story to encourage someone out there still in Bondage of masturbation that its very possible to call it quit! I started masturbating since 10 yrs ago while at the university! And I can tell you that I was so addicted to the extent I do it twice a day with full excitement! And the thing about it is that I read about the negative impact yet! I wouldn't stop! Recently, I decided to challenge my self from stopping to watch Porn. Infact, that's one of the strongest weapon of masturbation. If you can rebuke the temptation of watching porn seriously, you can overcome it! I stopped watching porn, deleted all porn videos from my phone and wiped off my browser History! Second thing I did was to Focus more on productive thought! At this point, I said to myself that I'm in charge of my body Not the little man down there. I gave myself a break of one week to see if I can with stand the temptation of masturbating after I made up my mind. Today being 7th of August made it 2 months I last self serviced. Indeed, I am now a new Man! Old things has passed away! I feel happy and more responsible now. I know a lot of folks out their are still into this mess! My advice is never force yourself to quit! Because I tried that severally, never worked! Instead, it became worse. Focus on Reading the NEGATIVE effect of masturbating! Than the positive side. With that, you can decide wether to quit or continue. Lastly, I thank God for his ever unending Grace that helped me to overcome this mess.
