It's a very strange crime in South Africa together with human trafficking, and they are on the rise and almost everytime the culprit is apprehended....he is either a Nigerian or a Zimbabwean.....and Ethiopians of late...but Ethiopians only kidnap or traffic fellow Ethiopians.

I have know SA first hand. Right from joburg airport if you are a Nigeria you are not safe. A friend of mine was followed to the toilet and robbed of 200 dollars by a police man, yes police, right there at the airport. There was a Nigerian visitor who was followed from the airport and gunned down at the reception of his hotel in joburg. A Nigerian lady narrated on BBC, after the last genocide, that she was in a taxi from the airport and the driver said he would have robbed her if she was a nigerian. The lady was lucky she had American accent. Many cases like these. Certainly there's a syndicate operating at that airport targeting mainly Nigerians.

I have had 2 opportunities to travel to South Africa, I didn't go. There is just something about that place that turns me off. I rather stay here in Nigeria than traveling to that fucking place.
