is that possible to do? I thought the passport number will be different and that would cause issues.

Great! All your queries have been addressed. Just read through the last 5 to 10 pages. Good luck!

Hello good people.

I'm interested in masters program in Germany (English version). Please kindly advise me on how to start this process.

What should I do first?
Next and next?
How long would it take from start to getting visa?
Do Germany give job to graduates of courses in English?

Thanks in anticipation.

I tried that, but they simply said I am welcome to re-apply for the summer 2026 session. So, I have sent a mail asking for a more definite response.
Harry4cas:
Why not ask them to defer your admission to the Summer Semester? To me, that's much better. You can consider the option of enrolling in and taking your classes online if you are less concerned about the perceived "experience" and the associated cost.

No, I didn't receive any additional email. Am I meant to receive an additional email?

Hello everyone,
Also, considering that it’s now clear my visa appointment might not happen until sometime next year (I applied on the 1st July 2024), would you advise that I go ahead with my enrollment? My program is scheduled to start in October, and enrollment closes in November. The only thing left for me to do is to pay the tuition, student body, and student service fees.

I’m considering enrolling so I can start my classes while still in Nigeria, pending when I’m able to travel. Has anyone here taken this route before? I’d really appreciate any advice or shared experiences.

I’d really appreciate any advice or shared experiences from those who’ve been in a similar situation.

Thanks.
BigOG:
Can you confirm if you received any mail saying you should confirm that you still want to go ahead with the visa application by clicking a link.

It should be an email from the embassy

They've given up till September 25 already. You're supposed to have gotten 2 weeks ago. Did you confirm your appointment in April last year?
Please, I need help too.

I applied 1st of July 2024 through this link: https://service2.diplo.de/rktermin/extern/choose_categoryList.do?locationCode=lago&realmId=347 for CATEGORY B VISA. And I got a mail response immediately, stating as follows:

Your registration to apply for a long-term visa (more than 90 days) for students of category B has been successful.

Your reference number is:

Each applicant must have a separate booking/registration. Each applicant, including minor children, needs an appointment.

Please note that the waiting period is over a year. You will only receive an e-mail with the exact date of your appointment four weeks prior to your appointment.

I want to know if:
1. This application is still valid? (as I didn't apply using the new link: https://digital.diplo.de/visa)

2. When should I expect notification for my appointment?

3. Do I need to re-apply using the new link as I already have admission to start in October 2025 and I have also commenced with enrollment but yet to pay the fees?
