I have never commented on this thread before but I will today. I was a victim of cult shooting in the university,that was 2002/2003 in the university of uyo. I was never a cultist ,but lived with my relatives who were cultist,they were actually klansmen. War broke out between the Vikings and the klansmen on the day of matriculation. The klansmen I lived with all left the house. We were now three guys left in the house, myself (a ju man), Jacob(a electrical/electronics student from futo who just finished defending his project n came to stay with us ,since we were all childhood friends,also a ju) ,and his brother (a graduate from unical,but a BAN boy).
Behold,the next day, after we heard about the issue in school the previous day, this Vikings guys came to our house around 7/8pm , numbering about 15 or more n accosted all three of us. We were made to sit on the ground n someone used a Torchlight to point at our faces n asked 'NA DEM BE THIS?', and behold someone answered 'NA DEM', d guy asked a second time,'NA DRM BE THIS?' n d guy answered again,'NA DEM'. Omoh!,dats how it started o! This guy's now started beating us, marching us with boots, before I knew wat was happening,I saw one guy cocking a gun n pointing at me, before I knew wat was happening,dis guy had shot me in the face. That when we all realized that shit had hit d fan.
Dats wen I started shouting dat I had been shot, the other two guys now reacted n started fighting back,so attention was on dem, one voice inside me den told me to make a run for it or I ll die. So I stood up and made a run for the gate,since it was a fenced compound,I successfully made it to the gate,when I got outside ,I saw a number of Vikings boys outside, one of dem made a move to come grab me,but as it turned out,he happened to be my coursemate,n he was surprised to see me cos he never expected seeing me der cos he never tot I was a cultist. So he held back n dat gave me the opportunity to escape.
But Jacob didn't make it,he was killed dat night (may he farewell wherever he is). His brother the BAN guy also escaped with matchet cuts. I was shot with an awka made, I guess dats y am still alive today.
So cultism stinks,n dats my story.

Got my ride delivered to my doorstep today. The driver started the journey yesterday and arrived Calabar by 12pm today. I was shocked to see the car. Normally, from Lagos to Calabar is over 13 hrs but the lockdown messed things up for the driver. I thank God he was able to pull through. You need his service? Feel free to ask for his contact.

Once I wash it tomorrow, I'd give a comprehensive review of Amdman and his services. However, let me be quick to say that in the course of my transaction with him, we had disagreements. In fact, at a point, I was mad at him but seeing this ride today, my spirit is overwhelmed with joy and I've forgiven all his sins I pray he forgives mine too. Walai, I worry that guy.

Like I said, I'd do a comprehensive review tomorrow. For now, please permit me to go and calm my spirit with a bottle of chilled beer.

I am with you on this,that stuff about driving your car in your dreams. A car I paid for since early February,I never still see am, you can imagine the anxiety.but finally the container was discharged 20th of April according to the ship's tracking site.Now na clearing wahala.am still waiting and hopeful. But in terms of communication,I would give it to him.once your message drops,he replies,and no matter how silly the enquiry,he still responds.he is quite matured and level headed.he never ignores any enquiry. But Las Las na my matrix I still dey wait for.on second thought I come dey reason say I for even add money buy the car in Nigeria here,to avoid all this anxiety and long wait.

I want to make an enquiry. I have been tracking the said vessel,it came from lome to cotonou yesterday,I was expecting it to head to Lagos after cotonou,but it has rather gone back to lome,why not berth in Lagos from cotonou n discharge cargo.am a bit perplexed.and the ETA of 19th seems far when the vessel is already in the vicinity.

What you are failing to understand is that 2004 and earlier cars have been outlawed. So it means you're already cutting corners. I don't need any troubles with Customs.
When I was taking my car home, I deliberately stopped by every Customs check points and had them go through my papers. The conversation would finally come to 'oya give us officers on duty'.
That's rest of mind.

when your car arrived sir,did the clearing agent call you,or amdman gave you the agents number to contact. how did you go about taking possesion of your ride?
