FlexTrex:
No need for FSLC. No one needs it from u. Submit your WASCE and other certificates after that.
She said that FSLC is a must. I'm just tired of the whole thing.
Jobs/Vacancies / I'm On The Verge Of Loosing A Federal Job Because I Wrote Waec And Fslc Sameyear by ImoStarWatch: 9:21pm On Nov 21, 2020
Seasons greetings fellow nairalanders, I have come to seek solution for a problem that wants to lead me to depression.

My story goes this way;
When I was in primary school, what was reigning among the parents in my school then was encouraging their wards to stop at primary 5 and jump to secondary school. And that exactly was my case (I jumped primary 6 to secondary school) which made me not to write the First School leaving Certificate (FSLC) exam.

During our WAEC registeration in SS3 was when I told our counsellor about it (that I didn't sit for FSLC exam) and she shouted and encouraged me to go to a nearby primary school and register for it.
My mum and I did as the counselor instructed and registered for the FSLC exam the same year I registered for my WAEC. The headmaster argued that I'm too old to write the exam thus my younger sister wrote it for me.

Now I'm a University graduate (completed my Nysc).
A family friend gave me a replacement slot in one federal parastal and when I submitted my credentials to her, she noticed that my FSLC and waec are of the same date. She complained about it and told me that I may encounter problem on the way (ie that the recruitment may not be successful or that I may have issues in future even if I'm finally recruited. I was depressed after hearing that.

So I came here to seek for advice and clarification from people that are already in the system. PLEASE HOW CAN I ESCAPE BEING SCREENED OUT EITHER NOW OR WHEN I'M FINALLY EMPLOYED?

Pardon my typos. Insults are allowed.

NOTICE AGAINST FALSE ALARM!!!
FROM THE DESK OF THE DEAN OF STUDENT AFFAIRS IMO STATE UNIVERSITY (PROF UCHE MARTINS NWANKWO)

1)It is no news that at about the morning hours of 7:30am or so soon thereafter, a graduate of IMO state university in the person of Maduabuchi Stanley(A.K.A MAF) did put up a misleading, slanderous and false rumour narrating that about 8 candidates for the SUG aspirations dhave been declared non Bonafide students of IMO state university.

2)This preposterous write up aimed at denigrating the essence of candidates who enjoy the mandate of IMO STARS was followed up by panics and media rage displayed by concerned IMO stars at about the early morning hours today

3) In a close door session with the dean of student Affairs(PROF UCHE MARTINS NWANKWO) today at about 11a m, there was vehement ,instantaneous, and absolute rebuttal of such rumours by the Dean of student affairs.

4) the dean of student Affairs submitted thus:

a) the loafer who did spread such message is not a student of IMO state university

B) he is not a member of Sec(student electoral commission)

C) he enjoys no interim privilege to disseminate concrete and reliable information

D)He is not an employed staff of the university

E) he is just an attention seeking fellow causing political brouhaha amongst IMO stars

5) conclusively the dean of student Affairs did urge IMO stars to wait until the DSS concludes its final screening and verify the candidature of Candidates.
In his words :
