Ah! I had a near experience in Jos to Abuja about a month ago when the plane had left the terminal and was on the runway to take off. The pilot (Captain) had told us to ensure all safety measures had been put in place. Then, he accelerated the plane for the takeoff. Not up to 2 minutes, the plane was halted midway. All of us onboard were scared and started holding on to one thing or the other for support. Eventually, the plane stopped and it was announced to us that "takeoff" was rejected by the plane's system. After some time, he taxied the plane back to the terminal. They checked and nothing could be done to salvage it. We were then asked to disembark from it and were told that the flight was cancelled. After relating it to my Oga, he said if we'd taken off and it happened in midair, they would had printed obituary for the passengers... In all, God saved me. 5 Likes |

SULBELL: Remember some States pay for their candidates and these States are all governed by politicians who are owing WAEC registration fees for years. So, what WAEC is actually making may not be up to the calculated or estimated amount in the media. |

Maybe those calculators were procured for years ahead. They can't use 5b for just one year. All what these lawmakers are looking for is their own share out of the loan. |

Ibrahimcoomasie: What a big lie! I was coming from Jos through Akwanga-Keffi road this morning. On reaching Keffi, we were delayed for about an hour until I have to speak with the soldiers with a friend. Immediately we passed Buhari Terminal, we were stuck for about 4 hours while these guys (male and female) were demonstrating, destroying and vandalizing on the road. I just got to Gwagwalada about twenty minutes ago to sleep. They even dispossessed some travellers of their possessions (phones, money, etc). 2 Likes |

Galinton: Don't mind them. Gembu they're referring to is just a local government in Taraba called Sardauna. When we talk about Jos, it doesn't mean that's the only place on the Plateau that is cold. I'm presently in Jos and know how cold has dealt with virtually everyone, both day and night, yet real cold season is still doing press up. Jos East, North and South, Riyom, Barki/Ladi, Bokkos, Mangu, Pankshin and Kanke LGAs are cold. Bokkos & Pankshin own pass, with the latter to be the coldest. I've been to Gembu once sha. It's cold too but I didn't stay long and can't really say which one is coldest compared to Jos where I'd stayed for 13 years before moving to Lagos last year. 6 Likes 1 Share |

If she'd been interviewed before coming up on stage to give her testimony, what happened might not have happened. Whether it was stage fright or not her non coherence led her to what she went through. Besides, if she graduated from law program, she should at some point have been asked to do some open presentations which should have prepared her for a day like that. Last355: |
Politics / Re: Ondo Residents Overpower Truck Driver; Loot Food Items Branded In Tinubu Name by Indelibleage: 9:31am On Apr 02 |
For how long will the so called palliatives sustain the hunger ravaged citizens that the only thing government is doing now is to dole out palliatives? The people that really need the intervention are boycotted while the larger percentage goes to the people that really don't need it. Anyway, looting is not a way out either. Let the government do something proactively and stop all this nonsense. Do something practical and empirical. Don't forget, Easter season will soon fade, the fact remains that Jesus died to set you free from sin. Accept His offer of salvation today. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Religion / Re: Going To Church & Playing Gospel Music Is Not Enough, Have you really repented? by Indelibleage: 9:46am On Mar 24 |
Repentance from sin deliberately and personal decision through the help of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ is very sacrosanct in our Christian faith. After repentance is done, faith in the atoning blood of Christ shed on the Cross at Calvary for total cleansing and removal of all the stains and relics of sins committed is another. Then, living daily victoriously over temptation and sin is the next which is made possible by grace. Reading of the Bible (studying), meditating and praying in what was read and meditated upon will enhance spiritual growth. One also needs self-discipline for restraint over what was abandoned as old life. Holiness of heart and sanctification is very necessary which is not by works of one's hand. It is by faith with prayer. Lastly but not all, living daily as if the rapture can sound with preparation and readiness to go with the Lord and other saints. Happy Sunday and God bless everyone. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
