According to a topic i did in a course in geography department(geographic information system).GEOINFORMATICS=GEOINFORMATION+INFORMATION TECH.Geoinformatics deals with the acquisition,storage,maintenance and dissemination of geo-information(information about the earth surface)which can be over time or space(spatial).
