PoliticsRe: Why I Pray For France And Not Nigeria. by inespie: 10:03pm On Nov 16, 2015
All those high grade banter have managed to summon me.

And Bleep, I don't see the point of half the argument here.

Original poster said My reason for not caring is not because I am a biafran, and listed the reason, and then the first thing his attacker said was " you are still nigerian and should stop hating yourself" then "only Biafra this.... Biafra that", and now everything has gone into a biafran-nigerian shit-flinging.

I would say that this is representative of every debate, then the original poster is true in this argument that Nigeria is a house divised, and more occupied to struggling together than be a united nation.

Then, both of you are responsable.
Well, the Biafran assume that, as they wanted independence. Obviously they don't feel that they fit into the rest of the population.
But for the others Nigerians, I don't see how you can expect them to want to be part of your nation when you are shitting at them.
Not just shitting, threatening !
You are a devil, and we will be rid of your type.
Also, I'm aware that the past was tense between you. but how this, "Oh so how many troops did they send to defend you? Zero? Surely you're not counting the few antiquated dane guns they may have sent which were of zero effect, and were more to boost your morale as you were being slaughtered en masse? Walking dunce." is suposed to help ? Seriously, I don't see how "france didn't helped you enough to don't get slaughtered by us" is suposed to make them like more nigeria than france. What is the point ? threatening again ? You don't fucking build unity with that !

So, thank's for your supports and prayer, Biafran and Nigerians, but don't let this become yet another point of hate between you two.

I think that this one is on point.

Serendip:
I think most of the comments here are sad because even if you are agitating for a biafran state, it has not materialize now and Nigeria is still your country. For now, any mishap in Nigeria will affect you directly or indirectly, so why the superficial remarks?
Even if you won't pray for Nigeria, what about "Pray for Africa"? Are we so inferior and hypocritical that we think the life of an European is worth more than that of an African? Until we start being honestly concerned about the welfare of our homesteads and honestly pursuing our own cause, we shall forever be trampled and play second fiddle to the other world out there, whether as a biafran or Nigerian.
But we must know that staying together as one Nigeria is the best option. There are injustices, yes, but the cure for headache is never by cutting off the head.
