emmalebgus: Well, I just called the UKVI office now. They said that a decision has been made since on Sunday the 11th of September. I wonder why TSL didn't send me an email or update the the Track. It is still showing that decision hasn't been made yet. Shall be there first thing tomorrow. Please did you ask them if they have sent your documents down? or better still, did you ask if the UKVI notification is sufficient to make one dispense with the decision mail from Sheffield? |

Uklhr: Well I emailed the ukvi helpline and they gave me a totally irrelevant response lol. I asked them that it's been almost a week since my application was processed and decision made and I still haven't got an official email and how long will it take to get an email of collection/decision The reply was we can't tell the outcome of your application due to security reasons. Well, I didn't ask for the outcome even, I just asked them to return my passport. As annoying as the situation is, I think it's best to be calm. This is totally a situation you can't do anything about. Only a supervening influence can and that is God. Today makes it the 21st day since I applied. What can man do than try not to worry? |

MrsDaniels: Told you she got decision mail few hours after the enquiry dept emailed her that decision has been made that she should go to Vac for collection in 3-5days after she gets the decison mail. She will be going to the VI Vac today to pick up her visa. Cos she went there on friday and she was told to come on monday to pick it up. You could go check yours too at the Vac you applied from. Thanks ma'm! I was at my VAC last Friday but was told my documents are yet to arrive. If your cousin didn't use the priority service, I can only assume she applied before 23rd August. I am quite hopeful that I will get my visa before the end of the week. I wish you and your cousin the very best! |

I am waiting for my collection mail, I don't even know what to do again. I went there yesterday and they said it wasn't there. Is it the Ikeja or VI center you applied to ?
I was at the TLS Ikeja this morning. Contrary to what most people think, the TLS observed their holiday on Tuesday and Wednesday as against Monday and Tuesday. That's according to the public notice I saw there. I guess they are working seriously on clearing their backlogs for those two days. All will be well! |

MrsDaniels: guys who applied at the ikeja VAC did you guys pay for additional 55pounds for using their VAC? or its just the visa fee+IHS alone I used Ikeja VAC. The additional £55 is automatic. You won't be able to submit your online application without making the payment |

OlowoB: Once you have gotten a decision mail, wait for about 3-5 working days, once you don't Get collection mail, visit the centre and your documents would be there already. I am assuming you did not pay for courier. I haven't even received decision mail yet. Do you think I can go to the VAC without receiving a decision mail? |

Hello everyone,
I did my biometrics and interview at Ikeja VAC on 23rd August 2016 and my application was submitted that same day. I received a mail on 26th August that the application has been transferred to the UKVI. On 31st August, I received another mail that the application has been received at Sheffield. My 15-day period lapsed on 12th September. When I didn't get any decision mail from them, I contacted the UKVI International enquiry dept. They sent me a mail wherein they maintained that the application has been processed and that a decision has been made. I am yet to receive my decision mail even at the time of writing this.
Is there any one in this category, pls?
Is it possible that UKVI may have transferred my documents and visa back to TLS without giving consideration to sending a decision mail in the circumstance? |

I welcome you all to a new month! I pray that the month shall deliver great and awesome testimonies for us all. For folks going to BCU, I got the enrolment mail too. I'm contemplating whether to give attention to it or wait for my visa. I did my biometrics and interview on 23rd August and got confirmation of the receipt of my application at Sheffield on 31st August. I suppose I should get a decision mail before Friday next week. Hello people,
Please I submitted my bank statement last week to my school and hope to get my CAS this week. Please does anybody have an idea of how much I will pay for the health surcharge for a Master's programme that commences in September 2016 and ends in September 2017? Some people said it's £150 while some said it's £225. Abeg which is which?
2) I will also appreciate if anyone can advise me, with a detailed explanation of how I can make the payment of the health surcharge without stress from Naija
Thanks and God bless! |

@Justwise: I am new on this forum but I have read a lot in here. Your consistency has been amazing chief! Keepirrup! I applied for General visitor visa late last year buh was denied. The major reason for the denial, according to them, was because they were not really convinced that I owned the money in the bank statement I submitted as part of my supporting documents. Undettered, I intend to apply for a tier 4 student visa for my master's programme. The university I applied to granted me scholarship in respect of my tuition fee in an amount that is quite substantial. An account was opened in my name wherein I have deposited the outstanding tuition fee and the cost of maintenance thanks to a samaritan who helped with the funds. I am waiting for the 28 days to lapse before obtaining the bank statement and applying for CAS. My worry is whether the Home Office will be interested in how I came about the funds and whether I will be mandated to evidence documents to prove the funds. What do you think, justwise? |
