What i do is after any deal with any race i always try to chip in i am a Nigerian,i have close friends too from namepros some from france and other country. Guess what? One of my deal was handle from a friend not a nigerian.
It is good to build great relationship especially when they know you are a nigerian, u r directly and indirectly giving ur country a good name and God will reward you for that act.
God Bless u all
God Bless Nigeria Hey that's cool. I will start that too. |

So you are the one spoiling the name of our country?
Why bro? Why? Do you know what you just did is painting Nigeria as a country bad?
Just make sure you honour that auction else you will be blacklisted.
@ all always put Nigeria first in ur mind when transacting with other race, do thing that will promote our nation instead of giving us bad name. Nigeria is a great country filled with good, friendly and hard working people, who are zealous, ambitious.
I love my country Nigeria and i promise to faithful, loyal and honest in all i do to bring peace and a good name to my country.
What about you? What is your promise to Nigeria
GOD BLESS NIGERIA I believe we should all make conscious efforts to promote the good part of our country. If you have a good record online, and have gathered trust and admiration from people you have dealt some business with online, then I don't see any reason to hide our nationality. Why àm I saying this. I have built a marvelous record on NP. I never filled in my nationality. But recently, I decided to do it so that everyone that checks my profile will see I am a Nigerian. Not just a Nigerian, but one who has a trusted record. Soon after I had filled in my nationality, I got a PM on NP from someone that claims to be from Nigeria too. He/she has a good record but didn't fill his/her nationality. This person said we should identify ourselves on Namepros, and team up for brainstorming and exchange of ideas I said no wahala, but first, I want him/her to put up Nigeria as his/her personality. This person replied that he/she will not do it. End of story |

javijabor1: What if I create a blog with the domain? In that case there's no intent to sell till they contact me. If the blog contents has nothing to do with Telecommunications, you are safe. You can try form the name of your blog to match the abbreviation NATCOM |

Hadeyemy: you might ONLY sell it to the same company.
The only case is that they have got license for this TradeMark and you might be charged for infringement Even if it wasn't a trademarked name, as long as he registered the name after they started business shows he registered it in bad faith - intent to sale or make money with it because of the power of the compnay name. And this is the only premise they need to get the name from him, free of charge. But then, maybe they won't know all these and still go ahead to buy from him. It can happen. |

2sex: I got a call from a company in Nigeria about a domain I own. Not sure which of my domain name actually before the line went off. I tried calling back it wasn't going through.
Will let you guys know what's up when it comes through. Wish me luck ALERT!!! My mind tells me this is no good call. Did she say her name is Gbemisola? Is the number +12341407319? I got a call this morning that went EXACTLY the way yours did. I smell a rat. Seems that call was done from a script. They cut the line without mentioning any domain name. I think the call was to verify that the whois phone number is correct. To what purpose, I don't know. Strange!!!!! |

paulsir: Just a heads up, Godaddy now has a new policy that restricts internal account changes for 10 days after a domain name has been transferred to Godaddy. I used to transfer domain names for my clients on a certain date and then immediately push them to their account, now you must wait 10 days before you can initiate the transfer to their account. Godaddy is becoming more unpopular by the day. And they have the shortest Grace period. Once my domains are due for renewal na Namesilo I dey port go. Free lifetime whois privacy |

On another story, Namerific accepted 4 of my names rejected by BB. I don't know the success sales rate of NR but I sort of like their flexibility.
Listings of accepted names are free and you get to fix your own price. BB is $10 per listing and they will choose a price range for you.
NR has no exclusivity clause while BB does. Another thing I noticed with NR from my chats with their FB page admin is that they have 2 levels ofapproval. If your name passes the first level, they list it for free. If it passes the second level, they can list it only if you pay $8 perlisting.
I have about 6 names on second level approval. Will see how sales come on NR.
By the way if you want to go into brandables and you do not want to suffer rejections, invest your money in buying only BB or NR accepted or published names. But still choose wisely. Such names full NP. |

1Dray: That was a good name you won there with some age too. I started watching the the from the time Eric commented on it and asked her to contact you and commence transaction for the name. I knew that it would result to some sorta drama, hence I watched the thread to see how it would end.
Damn! From way that lady sounded, it's obvious she's ready to lose her 5 y/o NamePros account than let go of that name. I noticed the lady had been trying to sell the name to some people on NP. Pray God touches her heart to let go of the name. Good luck bro.
BTW, big ups bro, I must say, you're one big time domainer on NP. You always have one name or the other to sell on NP given any request. Your barn must certainly be a very big one... 'Nuff respect! Bro your head dey dia. Na God ooo. The day I placed the bid I started praying make she no come online till after 3 days. Lol. I also think it will be hard for her to let go of the name. Her PMs na anger full am oo. Today makes it 7 days since I won the auction so Eric and Michelle must take a decision today. Will update you guys. I pray I get the name but if not, no wahala |

Hmmmm. Bid and won a domain name that seems to have quality flesh for $10. Seller did not put an auction end time. She only put bin at $1000. The default end time for auctions without a specified end time is 72 hours, which I confirmed from Eric. I contacted seller after 72 hrs for us to start the transaction. Meanwhile seller never came online again since the day she started the auction. When she finally came online, she vehemently refused to honor the default end time. She went and added a reservereserve price of $900 and end time Of 7 days. Eric and Michelle got involved both on the thread and through a conference conversation. The seller refused. Lol
Well tomorrow will make it 7days since I won the auction and NP specifies 7days as the time a seller and buyer must initiate transaction. Eric said I should inform him when the 7days is up .
I know they might close her account cos I don't think she will ever leave that name like that ooo.
We will see by tomorrow |
