Good evening family. Thanks for the loads of information here. I am looking to join my husband who is currently studying his PhD and I have a few questions:

1. I have the required amount. But I have been unemployed for over 6 months, does this matter?

2. Is priority visa really priority over the standard? Because I have seen quite a number of priority applications taking longer

3. For the application online, they requested for a marriage certificate. I found out on here that applicants send pictures to prove marriage like wedding pictures and chats. Is that compulsory from the start or requested for by the embassy?

4. Do I need to show 6 months of my Statement of my bank account if I have all the funds in Stanbic Mutual funds account which give a reference letter and also a statement?

5. Then for accommodation my husband shares an apartment with a friend. Is it still okay if I use that place as the address for the application?
