Music/RadioRe: Top 3 Mistakes Nigerian Upcoming Musicians Make While Being Wave Of The Moment by Inosky: 12:15pm On Aug 13, 2025
IyaTola:
I get where you’re coming from — a lot of talented new artists crash too soon because of bad career decisions. But at the same time, some of the very things you’ve called “mistakes” can actually work out if handled the right way.

1) On being a FREESTYLER
True, bragging about making hit songs in 10 minutes can make people think your music lacks depth. But freestyling is also a legitimate art form that connects deeply with some audiences — especially in today’s era of short attention spans and viral moments. Look at artists like Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, or Burna Boy — many of them admit to not writing down lyrics, yet they consistently deliver quality because they’ve mastered the craft. The problem isn’t freestyling; it’s poor quality control. If you can freestyle and still create music with replay value, why not let people know? The key is balancing the “wow factor” of freestyling with songs that have lasting substance.

2) On ‘overdoing too much’
You’re right that unnecessary drama can kill a career. But in the modern music business, branding is almost as important as talent. Sometimes creating dance trends, slang, or even harmless controversies is what keeps an artist in the public eye long enough for their real music to stick. Think of it as seasoning — too much and you spoil the food, but the right amount makes it unforgettable. The artists who win are the ones who use these stunts strategically, not randomly.

3) On getting features from bigger superstars
Yes, rushing into a “Big 3” feature too early can overshadow your brand, but it can also open massive doors if you play it smart. Wizkid’s feature on Tems’ “Essence” wasn’t a career-ending move for her — it skyrocketed her to global fame. The key difference is preparation. If your style is unique and your catalog is solid, a big feature can multiply your reach rather than erase your identity. The real trap isn’t the feature — it’s not having enough of your own music ready for new fans to discover after that big break.

In short, these moves aren’t inherently wrong — they just require timing, planning, and self-awareness. The same knife that cuts bread can also cut your hand; it’s all about how you hold it.
You're 100 percent right. You must be a professional music analyst to be able to detect that. I am an upcoming artist, have done some songs which are live. I had to stop for a while because I wasn't too good doing the production and recording all alone -- the sounds are not in rhythm. I intend to open up my own studio, employ a good sound engineer but because I'm highly talented in music (not like I'm bragging, I have a lot of well-written songs that with rhythm and substance in them). I'd like to have you as a mentor.

If any of my songs blow, nobody will know me, I will still remain focused, working on other songs. If I don't get like 5 features in my other songs I might not do collabo with any big artist.

Once Tinubu wins 2027, which is likely, it's over, renewed shege promax. Guy, man is running away from that unfortunate collapse. Only 2 years of Tinubu everyone is feeling the heat. The boat has wrecked, it remains total collapse. God abeg oo.

Put small money (maybe 5m) to that money run go Tanzania or Rewanda, even Seychelles and Mauritius is good to go.

PoliticsRe: Prove We Can Trust You: Peter Obi’s One Term Pledge Divides The North. by Inosky: 7:57am On Aug 11, 2025
Atikuu is doing everything to spoil Obi's chances in 2027, hoping to gain our support in 2031, we will show him our hatred on his wicked attitude on that election day if he doesn't support Obi in 2027.

He didn't buy the idea of zoning formula in 2023, and he seems to trade that route in 2027, yet he wants the south to support him. Just imagine that kind of mumu?
The South will remind him that in 2031 if succeed is scattering Obi's chances, when he comes out to claim it's North's turn. He thinks he's wise.

RoxyBrownAutos:
If Peter Obi wants to be president of Nigeria, let him run with Atiku Abubakar to wrestle power from APC in 2027 with strong Promise that Atiku will hand over to him.The world is aware that the present federal government has failed and looking for alternative to Tinubu failed government. However, part of the north may not give massive support to someone from the north who will spend more than one tenure in office so that power will return to the north as per zoning formulae instead they will support a northerner to unseat Tinubu, they did it to Jonathan Goodluck.
mentality huh

PropertiesRe: How Much Do You Pay For Rent? by Inosky: 6:12pm On Aug 09, 2025
maiunguwar:
The major problem with Nigeria today is the population growth. The population is growing faster than the economy at an unsustainable level.

We have many people chasing fewer houses, more students chasing fewer admission spaces, more patients seeking so few doctors, etc

The economy can't grow fast enough to match the population growth hence the skyrocketing of prices of everything.

Then the mismanaging of the economy especially by the immediate past government.
A huge population is good if it's productive,if it isn't, it's a disaster waiting to happen
The worst is: government is not planning on that, and there's not part of the economy they working on to lessen the pain from the other angles. Naija is on a long thing except we have responsible government

forgiveness:
Someone bought car with 1.7m shipped it with $500 ($2000 per container with 4 cars) then cleared the car with 2.4m.

Is that not something else?
That's he spent roughly 12.4m for everything, for 4 cars.

He will make a lot of money 🤑💰 if he sell 6 million or more, which I know he would sell higher than that.
You guys are raking millions is this auto business.
