Enact a law that will criminalize fake house agency. But Nigerian lawmakers will prefer to share money doing nothing They should start paying task from the money too. |

It's a glorified excursion. If you watched the video, you'll hear one of the boys saying he slept off. The other one didn't expect it. Point is in most cases, they all get awarded. That's the structure of criminality Mr. Peter Obi talked about during his 2023 campaign. They performed it but it went open and they're using a damaged control to cover up. The fact about life is that you can't give a known convict/criminal and his/her cartel power and expect innocence in their dealings. It's just like negotiating with a terrorist and expecting him to become an angel after. |

spiceadole: And the men are using relationship as disguise for sex without commitment.
Tit for Tat. Not completely true. Only few men do this. I once dated a lady and was entirely committed to marrying her but I wasn't giving her money as she wanted, she became harsh, insultive, and unruly towards me, even said I should stop telling her that I love her if I'm not going to be giving her money, that I should place her on monthly allowance. She knew I loved her to the extent I even spoke with her mum earlier but that statement destroyed my love for her and I left without looking back. You ladies need mental reset. |

AJSfan: eeya, and its this mentality that has made things go from bad to worse.. everyone is quick to point fingers at an imaginary government because we hate accountability. People should keep gaming the few things that work in the dysfunctional system for personal benefit and you expect government to continue to run such programs? Today there are First class graduates that would have benefited from that program The first way to start changing the narrative is for you to stop voting criminals in power and supporting bad government, if you're one of those doing fond of doing that. A lot of Nigeria scholars are ready to comeback and contribute to the country's development any time start electing good leaders who will fix our democracy and value systems. Peter Obi was supposed to do that for us but corrupt politicians who steal billions unaccounted for didn't allow him. |
Education › Re: FUD Cracks Down On Lecturers Who Absconded After Sponsored Programs by Inosky: 1:27pm On Jun 27 |
AJSfan: its not a Jigawa matter, it cuts across every higher institution owned by Federal and State Government.. this is how they spoil opportunities for the ones coming behind.
Back then in the school i attended, First Class graduates used to get automatic lecturing jobs and the government will send them abroad for masters and PHD so they can bring the knowledge back home. 90% of those beneficiaries refuse to return.. this programs cost millions per beneficiary, multiply that by different beneficiaries across different departments the, school is losing Billions.
People like that only think of themself, not the institution or country or even those other people who could have benefited as well (cos government end up ending those programs) If Nigeria was working with good leaders on board, there's no way they won't return. In the 80s and 90s, they returned even when they had offers abroad after finishing their programs. So, you can't really blame them. |

Immatex: When we were to leave Nigeria, my wife tried to secure a Nigerian government scholarship from either ABSU (Abia State Government in the darks day of Okezie) or via TEFUND but I vehemently refused.
Because I don’t want to have my family name listed like this in a newspaper. I didn’t want to be held to any contract or clause.
We simply self sponsored and are better off without any feelings of indebtedness or allegiance towards Nigeria, Abia state or ABSU.
Lots of Nigerian scholars here were sponsored but have no plans of returning to Nigeria or even repaying their debts. They’re simply happy to play the system. My guy japa to UK after collecting tetfund PhD scholarship. Me, if I see opportunity outside I might japa without serving. The one I served is enough. Maybe I might refund them gradually if I see money. |

givedemwotowoto: As long as there’s no fundamental unrecoverable problem with SpaceX, this is probably the time to buy
How stock works in a very simple overview is, let’s say a company wants to sell shares for $1 per share.
Before they go public, they first of all sell to private investors at let’s say 50 cents. They may even do multiple private rounds at different prices.
When the shares finally go public at $1, that’s when you and I (the ordinary people) buy.
After the public sales, initial investors sell off their shares. If you bought at 50 cents, you’ve automatically made 100% profit.
Once they sell off, the prices drop like you see now. That’s when some ignorant folks start selling at a loss out of panic, thinking there’s a problem.
Funny thing is, if it drops by 50%, the same investors who sold off will buy again. When it starts rising again as they’re buying, some of us will jump back in again due to FOMO, then they sell off again, and the cycle continues.
I explained this in the simplest form without boring you with technical jargons.
Note: This is not financial advice. DYOR What was the price at IPO? |

If US and Israel had continued the war on Iran, by now they would have bent and agree to whatever terms is needed but Trump cowed and and now empowered Iran in the war and loosing out and leaving the 20% world power control to Iran with hundreds of billions dollars to pay them + release of their held money and complete lifting of sanctions + ability to continue with the ballistic missile program and no complete ruling away of their nuclear weapons program. This is not foolishness. |
