By the title, it was not meant to be found interesting and wasn't meant for competition. It's a maths clinic where issues are resolved and I only invited you guys to stop by once in a while to contribute your quota. That's all!
owk I understand bro, but I saw too many elementary arguments and posts...although no doubts there are also challenging problems in there....but you don't seem to get what
youngmillonair is seeking....oya youngmillonair come and clearly state the kind of math thread you envisage...

wait are you kidding right? well....x= 4/3=1.33333333.....

Bros. this your thread is filled with teenagers trying to score chicks. We are talking a real math club on Nairaland.
exactly I didn't find that thread interesting at all

Hahhahaha i know it can be solved in a way to have several numbers as the answer...And that is why mathematicians claim that 0/0 = undefined answer.

The only reason I will go for 1 is that every other answer you get, be it 2 or 1/2 or 34 or 8787 is only a multiple of several 0/0 (i.e k * 0/0) which still appears in the question as a 0/0 because k*0 = 0 but appears in the answer as k*1 which could then be any k
yeah I reason as much...there is such in matrix solutions...equivalent of eigen values and eigen vectors....all other solutions are just multiple of those...

This is mine

0/0=(X^2 -X^2)/(X^2 -X^2)=X(X-X)/X(X-X)=1*1=1

0/0=(X^2 -X^2)=(X+X)(X-X)/X(X-X)=2X/X=2

0/0=(X^2 -X^2)=X(X-X)/(X+X)(X-X)=X/2X=1/2

I have being following this thread from beginning i observed that these two people are playing with the ppl following this thread cuz, the same yungmillionaire that sent the question also use another account called Akinphysicist to solve the question. For this Cacawa that wanted to challenge the Akinphysicist because of his tribal biasness, so all attempt have been made to downgrade his intellegibility but all in vain, that is how he change another account called Inschool with a view to challenge Akin smaltaneously. Hmmm Nigeria
you are wrong bro....both cacawa and akin are good...just that their school of taught bear different opinion....it's a normal thing in science....just as it happened during the time of Sir Isaac Newton and Robert Hook

Awww you are good, bit you answered a wrong question.
Y is not equal to x squared
Y = x^(x squared)
That means x to the power of x-square
owk but sincerely I saw this lately but let me post an attempt I have made . y=(-1/188792.9141)x+19683.00001

Solve this in less than 30 minutes

Find the equation of the normal to the curve f(x) = x^(x squared) at the point x = 3

Just #5 k because it is too easy
sorry am just seeing this now...but the solution should be
y=(-1/6)x. +19/2

typed by youngmillonair

Ahhhh you would have got my #15k, but you won't.

What you did is absolutely correct, but for mathematical expediency, you need to have use a letter say, "Let Y be any number such that Y€R

So if you had used y Instead of 10, you would still have got that proff correct, but it will be a valid proof, not just for "10" but for all real numbers y. Now, you made that clear in your last sentence, but in maths, it has to be part of the proof.

You are good bro.

I was going to use the method of Limits
yeah I just used one out of the many possible methods...Tnx

For #15K, I need someone to mathematically find x if

0 ÷ 0 = x

Using mathematical methods pls.
let me give a little proof....
now..0/0=[100-100]÷[20(10-10)]=(10^2-10^2)/[20(10-10)]=[(10+10)(10-10)]÷[20(10-10)]=(10+10)/20=20/20=1
Note: there are infinitely many solutions..
