How To Stop Airtel From Deducting Your Credit When Browsing - See Codes

Airtel is fond of making PAYU / PayG a default plan when buying a new line. Even if you have an active data on the line, they will still deduct from your airtime when browsing the internet.

Follow me as I show you how to stop them from deducting ur airtime credit with the code below.

Method 1

This method works if you don't have an active data on your line and u wish to stop Airtel PAYG. What you have to do is to subscribe to any data plan by doing so, you will be opted out automatically.
Kindly, dial *141# and choose your preferred data bundle. You will be asked "what should happen when your bundle finishes". Just reply with 1, which is "StopMyData"

Method 2

This method words for everyone. If you have an active data on ur line and Airtel keeps deducting from your airtime balance, that means you are on PAYU plan. This method will work for you.

What you have to do is to dial *400*1#. You will get a response saying "You have successfully opted out of Airtel PAYU plan. You can dial *400# if you wish to go back to Airtel PAYU and continue browsing from your airtime balance".

by default all voice notes are saved in your WhatsApp folder, just check around. It’s because they are saved that’s why you can listen to it even if you don’t have data. Just check your WhatsApp folder

Am I the only one having this issue with mtn, talking using my credit or airtime and exhausting it more while my call is going on



Once a call is on going and you have less than 50 naira credit. There is something mtn always do and I think it's fraudulent.

While you still have small airtime and the call is going on, an mtn voice will start talking and reminding you that you have low credit using your on credit and exhausting the more.

This is fraudulent, why can't they send a simple text or allow the call to end Why issue me a reminder using my own airtime? And then you also paused my call while talking and finish my credit.

This is a fraud I don't know who else is experiencing it.

I went to get food for my dogs .

On coming back I chartered a tricycle.

I could remember when I dropped from the keke, my two phones was in my left hand.

Where I got confused was when I was about bringing down the food items from the keke, I'm not sure if the phone fell from my hand, or I put it in my pocket and it fall thereafter, or I just can't recall.

The crazy thing is I didn't notice it was missing till after 2 hours when I wanted making transfer for something.
I dialed the number from my other phone and it has been switched off.

Please how do I go about recovering the phone or I should just forget it.

I still have all the phone accessories and covers.

Samsung phones are also made in China just like those transsion phones(Infinix, Tecno and Itel). Transsion phones have helped many people in Nigeria to be able to afford android phones when in need.

These phones work so well just like your Samsung. The comparison are all over the internet for you to see it your self. So, what else do want? Are you telling me Samsung phones are that perfect that they don't develop unexpected fault? Why are trying to phone shame people who decide to make their preferred choices. It's not even as if Samsung is expensive more than these transsion phones. Their prices are relatable.

I'm using a Tecno Spark 7, 3gig ram, 64 Gig Memory. The Camera is superb. Good speed in every operation with any application, no hanging almost a year experience now. Tell me wetin your Samsung phone fit do wey this my phone no fit do.

Good morning great Nairalanders, I created a thread yesterday morning complaining that my New phone TECNO SPARK 8C just 2months old started draining battery of recent, See The link of my previous post above. Lots of people here gave me different solutions, infact to cut the long story short, wen I applied one or two of them I slept last night my phone was 90% as I woke up this morning I still found it @ 90% ba3 level. Thou the Adguard mod APK on my phone as I was about to sleep I disconnected it before sleeping, so I came to know that wen am using the phone I will turn it "ON" before I sleep I will turn off the Ad blocker premium. Thank God and thanks everyone, thanks to the moderators, I really appreciate.

Start to prepare your money for a new battery. The signs are glaring. Your phone would soon be going off at 50% battery level.

I had this issue early this year. I will have like 35% before going to bed around 11pm and on waking up I will have 3%. I was able to resolved this issue by following these steps below.

How long have you been using the phone? If it is more than 2 years then it is expected. Your battery capacity to retain charge diminishes with time.

It's your screen that's the problem. Turn off double tap to wake. Cause if you sleeping close to your phone your body fit day wake am.

Uninstall the Ad Blocker. Your browser already has an option to block ads. Clearly, your ad block runs in the background and drains battery.
