I've walked an experience on broken lines,
With an ugly body and fine wine
Through thick through thin;
through times and tides,
In forgiveness and sins,
Through fails and wins,
In bleak and bliss,
Your Love Lasts.

Together through turning tables
and cracking cheers,
We wear and tear till
we became wares that don't tear,
You live in phobia, I die in fear,
Always right by my side;
to right the wrongs aright,
In dark days and bright lights,
Your love lasts.

Overabound, overwhelmed, overall
With you in rise and fall,
You're the benchmark of my resilience,
It strikes aloud, it strives in silence,
The flares the feelings,
Understanding and standing under,
The ills the healings,
The time of staying together in asunder,
Your love lasts.

Your love kept me alive,
Your Love gave me a life,

A delicacy for destruction is easy to dispense,
And a resource for revenge is hardly an expense,
It doesn't break the broken to break you,
For his goodwill is to see you break bad on your path to breakthrough.

The deadlock is dying for you to get-in,
What more? A candle will only pray you keep waxing,
Bada bing bada boom!
The gloom is only a guiding light to doom.

This soul just need a soulmate
A partner in crime, a frailed inmate,
Somebody to pay the consolation price,
A core curse, a blessing in this guise.

He's this guide that'll lead you to follow lies,
The clarity that falsity buys,
It is ill how ill the ill brings ills to the hale in abyss,
This deadly disease will only make you a decease.

He is a dead-end whose ecstasy is to end a sailing voyage,
To make you dead wrong till you have a rite of passage,
Flee far from him
for he want you to be like him...

Like a beautiful day and a wonderful night,
A gilt graced with glamour living in the spotlight,
The face on magazines and TV screens,
Of a life that sail in the depth of mainstream...

A man made of money with an ocean view of fans blowing cheers,
Living the dream whereas, reality is a nightmare,
Of enemies in disguise and friends who wear white lies,
Of deceit that never dies, that never gambles, that never dice...

How do you identify your death like an autopsy?
And how do you recognize the heart to pour your heart to and pour some Hennessy?
Friendship is so unknown and foes don't show the ecstasies,
A tale of him surrounded by a pool of pals with fishy enemies...

How do I fish out one love from this sea of likes?
A thousand friends isn't a thousand companions, don't fall for the hypes,
Know where you belong; know those that belong to you,
For your strangest death can only come from those familiar with you...

This love is overrated,
In reality, the love is perhaps hatred,
Be careful of your big circle,
The unlikeliest to likely harm you...

Sons and Daughters!
Look at how this funny men stole our smile,
How they built themselves bakeries from our daily bread and butter,
I smell massacre in our coffers —
nausea of a dirty gutter,
They take our nairas in dollars
And leave us to starve and suffer,
In high volumes and operas, they deep greed into our coffers.
...
Our society got pregnant and begot hunger and anger,
Bile in piles, poverty stabs with a dagger,
Genesis of a sad saga,
And the sad gets sadder,
It's sad to explain how the hard horn harder,
The blessings that leave and the curses
that enter through these boarders,
Our comradeship capsized
And our clans no longer live as brothers...
...
Worms and canker-worms in our coffers,
It's pretty paralyzed with beautiful batters,
They're milking us -- their dairies getting fatter,
They occupied our space in mass now we don't matter,
The truth of the matter is that there's no truth of the matter,
In our coffers,
Fortune is a misfortune to manipulation,
Our coffers is becoming a carcass,
The nation in deterioration.

When you take our capital, you leave us in a state of anarchy,
You leave the treasury in jeopardy,
Our society becomes a pen of penury,
The system is swilled! She suffers an aching allergy.

The pearl is pale,
Our track record is beginning to derail
When you take our capital, you take us to a state of anarchy,
Our homes then becomes a house of poverty...

A blessing you're to me,
Blissful like fruits of an Apple tree,
Caring as always as mother's truelove,
Dearly to my heart like heavenly father's from above.
Exceptional is you among mankind,
Flawless amidst all, human of mankind,
God of love, a man of honour,
Hallow be thy name, a woman of valour,
It's you that carefully critique the body of my work to its bowel,
Jury of my jewelry, my joy on noel,
Keen to my art, queen of my heart,
Life and beyond is my love for you,
My art you made your act, for you forever from me to you,
No way will I forget the ways you pathed for me,
On the road to discovery, you made me found me,
Placed me on a pedestal that balconies look up to me,
Queens quest to bear me babies, kings pay me royalty.
Right to say everything left is right above heaven,
Stars are down to this earth, a world of out this world,
Thank you for all you do,
Under your honour, above the law, breaking artistic rules,

We wake up to see wise men play a fool,
It hurts how they crack jokes with delicate matters
but that's how they braze the bruise,
A society of crimes on cruise,
Where the amazing is graced with amuse.

The makers are the breakers of rules,
They assemble in the house to trade blows by barter in black and blue,
Men in black with a heart blacker than what they wear,
Laxity of the society, a ware that wear and tear...

When stupidity becomes the nitty-gritty of humanity,
Idiocy poses a threat to sanity,
The opulence of moral decadence,
Disguise of the guise, reality hidden in her real appearance.

Comedy of error,
It's on us; the jokes we laugh about,
Funny enough, this human race is a mad man chasing clouts,
The spotty trash that runs through their mouths.

Like the playful on a playground,
We get carried away till it gets out of bound,
Now, we're lost in the rave of frivolity,
Dying in the growing mentality.

What more can stupidity say
When adults stages a child's play?
The more the jokes, the bigger the yokes
This is a wake up call for all to stay woke.

I pour out my heart, let's have a drink,
A moment to wine and think,
Perhaps to unwind and sink
Into the deeps of thoughts unthinkable
A different food for thought to the table,
The table of problem -- so, let's table the problem,
Pain is a problem and champagne is problem solving,
What is this Champagne?
It is rain to yesterday's wane,
A title to the name that defamed,
Sanity to the insane,
This is Champagne,
A wine to unwind the pain,
The wisdom that gives knowledge to understand the wane,
This is life,
A death worth dying for,
The best thing survival ever saw,
When the world came crashing, she saved the accident,
The future of the past, an opinion that took precedence,
An intervention so divine -- providore of providence,
Of a right choice so evident.

Cheers to the tears that tore us apart,
To the wear and tear that wore down our hearts,
Let's make a toast to the mars of yesterday,
Days that wallowed in wane...

These words are winery,
To figure out every failed binary,
This is something to drink about,
For your past is nothing to think about...

So the hands of death took him away
as the legs of his legacy pranced astray.
The quaint died of too many archeology,
If he knew his body of work was a carcass
he would have acknowledged the plastic surgery.

This is how the living spring died,
bloody was the bloodbath --
the virgin was defiled,
the new men broke the hymen,
this beautiful art was broken,
they watered the fire on frozen,
the rude awakening was awoken
of spoken word unspoken,
creativity that lacked creatine,
overwhelmed, underdeveloped
like the love before 18,
the break even couldn't break the odds,
she broke her chords and lost the one accord
he used to be a mighty god,
before heaven lost its humble abode,
he rose to power like King David -- the promise of God
and fell like Goliath at war,
a moonlight became a gloom glide,
What a glorious exit! The death of a beautiful life.

Her glorydays now live on shelves of Alexandria's library,
as this day send her odes in elegy,
downfall of the up-and-might; depression of a dynasty,
excavate of The Great,
the great purge of a prodigy.

What a destiny! What a puncture,
this glory has departed literature,
yesterday just died,
today's genre is keen, the fire to refire lives,
this is the new possession, the new obsession,
she's everybody's attention -- the Tesla invention...

Tell brains, she's the head,
the new way of life,
the new world order, in other words, Conventional Poetry is dead...
What a glorious exit!

My look on the lookout looking for love,
A special kind of heaven that comes from above,
Like a lady whose lover died at war;
I was waiting for my hero to arrive,
I needed something to die for in other to come alive.

So, I died living a lie,
I was led into this jungle and wandered around like a buzzing fly,
I fell in love from the peak of frivolity of a great sky
And wasted precious time that fortunes couldn't buy.

I sold my soul to buy vanity,
Like a child of perdition doomed for a brutal eternity,
The possessive possessed me,
I thought this devil will change but the change he had was spent on a shopping spree.

This is how you buy the world and sell your vote of conscience,
Priority is misplaced like a speaker carried away by the ovation of his audience,
Why make at first happen at last?
First thing first before the last thing alas!

Learn to love you before you love your neighbour,
Build charity in your heart before you make it a open habour,
For you can't please them if you haven't eased yourself,
Avoid the had I know of "oh! I should have loved myself!".

He was living in peace before
he got what killed him,
They gave him a real facade
that changed his dreams,
He was left to live on
books that authored his confusion,
Verily! The mission was to steal his vision.

So, they stole his mentality with spirituality,
This opium became sanity to his society,
He got indebted to the creed as he paid the indemnity,
He walked in faith and got lost in the tales of eternity.

The sign is a wonder,
He cuddles complacency as
he awaits divine signs and wonders,
He then settles his destiny for poverty,
Blowing the enthusiasm; he's a fan -- he's a fanatic.

Figure this out!
Why bow to a figurine, a figure who can't
figure out how to figure out what is to be figured out?
Figure this out yourself!
Why fight? Why fight for a God who is too weak to fight for himself?
Figure this out!

If truly He's omnipotent, why doubt his potency?
You left the right things to acknowledge idiocy,
This syndrome devoted his coins to building schools his offsprings can't attend,
You're a rebel when you say this
'cos the truth is hard to comprehend.

How do you save the rigid whose mindset is defined?
It's hard to refine a mind
that has already been confined.
A belief system that derails to the spine,
The world of a fool is full of gloom and his point of view is blind.

This is word
To him who misunderstands the mystery of God,
A believer is guilty of repentance
If he refuses to decline his mental acceptance.

The caught is the criminal,
And the escaped remains phenomenal,
We point fingers at ills pointing at us,
We then throw holy water at Hellfire lo! The Devil is us.

Every sinner sin differently,
But we live in a world where judgements are passed partially,
A world of claws and fangs --
monsters that muster at the agora of fools,
They act like they hate the music but walk around in its dancing shoes.

Adam and his clone lives in mischief,
Don't be a judge! Ask a lawyer, every human is a plain thief,
A man of steel who stole an identity to buy integrity,
Infidelity, the serenity of mortal dignity.

Self-deceit is the mirror we see through,
We paint us a superhuman but every superman has his bird flu.
For in the world of man, good and evil revolves,
Therefore, every building has its flaws.

We all carry an iota of darkside,
Beautiful on the outside but there's this little monster inside,
Like bowels, we're a bloomy bag full of filthiness,
Before you cast the stone, review your righteousness...

I bought her flowers and a dress,
On my way to nowhere looking for her address,
I heard she lives somewhere around this sphere,
I'm so sorry sage! Love don't live here...

Fake emotions, fake feelings, fake smiles,
Here are what I found after a million miles,
Backbite! Backstab! Backset! Back and forth,
The fight for love is just unjust -- now look how broken they got.

I've got what you need,
I keep so much to me cos Selfishness isn't guilty of greed,
They cry for help, they get hanky for panky,
They say love is magical, I heard love is sorcery.

When a hot candle start to wax cold,
A journey of two jollies become a lonely road,
This dying world suffers undying love,
Like days of drought that showers refused to fall from above.

Oh truelove on high!
A sweet act of kill me and let me die,
A piece of war that occupies the space of time,
So how do you show some love when they don't show you a sign?

Close your eyes, open your mind, find charity,
The real fraternity is the unity of humanity,
The breeze of peace brings bliss; let love live admist us,
For there's no greater blessing than this course...

It used to be a beautiful beginning,
A time when the life was blooming,
A Flawless perfection in its fullest form,
Like the blossom rise of a blissful dawn.

It was indeed a beginning,
When men were men
and women were humans.
A time before the time
humans became Barbarians.

A time flowers grow in peace
and fields don't accommodate war.
The time living in harmony was a thing to die for.
A time conjugal was bliss,
The time you find comfort in the splendor of the breeze.

It was a beautiful beginning,
The time when life had a different meaning.
A time when sanity was the actuality of humanity.
When mankind never lived in vanity or die for frivolity.

Purpose driven it was, and now, it has been driven crazy,
What is sanity when a mad woman has lost how to be a sane lady?

Her beginning was meaningful
A thing they called beautiful,
But when fate becomes fatal,
And virtues are less vital,
The genesis will start to lose semantics,
Revelation of the future will appear like nemesis.

Peradventure if we go back to the beginning,
Then the adventure of our world might again birth a meaning...

Perception is another reality,
The first phase of definability,
When tenacity capitalizes on a state of naturality,
It then becomes an actuality.

But then, we are too broke to pay attention to ourselves,
How can we be living when we don't believe ourselves?
When godliness is hidden in manliness, how do we unveil the god in a man?
If a sun of God don't shine, It's a lay for slay the sacrificial lamb.

You don't need to shine like a superstar,
Before you know how super a human you are,
We're all born with divine regality,
Gracefully endless like the road that leads to eternity.

You're royalty, a product of God's grace,
Handwork to build a legacy path for human race,
You're awesome in a million ways,
The light of the world -- a daystar that shine for generational days

There's no nobility in low-self extremity,
Seek you, see the crown -- show forth your royalty,
You're all you call yourself,
We're all kings! The reality of ourselves...

Fast-rising Multi-award winning Nigerian Creative Writer Inufin Ayomide better known as Ayomide D’great or Inufin Ayomide D’great is set to release his long awaited virtual Spotlight Poetry Series tagged In This World Of Ours. He made this known in his interview with MidasMinds Inc. – one of the biggest literary platforms occupying the literary space.

He disclosed that the Poetry Series which is strictly a virtual one will be released in September however, the release date wasn’t specified.
In This World Of Ours is the 7th poetic sequel of his yearly series tagged No Skies No Limits which has been active since 2014. Furthermore, he stressed that the Virtual Series is a ‘Spotlight Poetry’ which aims at making people pay attention to the beauty of modern day poetry.

He then reviewed that the Series have 33 poems which centered on the society, where it is currently and where it is headed. He said in his words “The world is going through a lot at this time and it is pertinent to put the mind of the people to understanding it. Many of my fellow creative focused their writings on things that are less pressing but I decided to take it upon myself to strike a change and I hopefully believe that ‘InThisWorldOfOurs’ should change something about the world.”

RAIN

It takes strength to win and obtain,
But it requires fortitude to own and retain,
This is a tale of a head;
Who never stopped baking even after securing the bread.

Every finish-line is the beginning of a new race,
A reminder that after a good time, there are better days,
So, the head went ahead to pave newer ways,
Broke bigger breakthroughs, wielded wider waves.

Always own your space,
As you graze your place of grace,
The top should never make you stop,
No matter how high it gets, there's always a better up.

Success may be your name,
Perhaps you dine with money, power and fame,
Stay hungry, life is an endless game,
Even if blessings shower like thunderstorm, don't stop calling the rain...
