Dear Niralanders
please how did u transfer Money to Sio deposit account Access Bank has refused to do the transfer unless the University sends an invoice with figures in dollars. and the deadline is close

any reply asap will help

Please do not waste too much time.
Transfer the money to First, GTB or Diamond. Then use form A. This should help. GTB understands this transaction.
Hope this helps.

Pls kindly help with exactly how much housing costs in schools in Norway, and the opportunities available for getting a job after a while that can help support. Plus is it every year one must put that 97,850NOK in a norwegian account or its just one off

Cost from 3000NOK to 6000NOK depending on type of room and location.

Yes! Every year but I don't think that should be a big problem.

Wow, congratulations! That is truly awesome. Enjoy am.

I recommend seeing the Preacher's Pulpit while the sun is still shining come August.

Congrats Akin,

Actually Nigerians have set the pace at UiS, we have shown them enthusiasm and unchallenged academic excellence over the years. Therefore, we look forward to maintaining and improving this record.

Also, Media and social community has killed the image of our country and Africa and many will ask questions to confirm or cancel their opinion about black people when you arrive Stavanger. However, I will not blame them much because the first Africans that arrived here were refugees and those that ran away from their country without purpose but due to the hard situation. Tell them the truth about what you know and add the international politics as well but remember that we are like our country ambassador and what you say today may be the way they treat you tomorrow.

If you present Nigeria as poor, dirty and shitty Nation, they may see you that way too but if you say the truth about my dear - Nigeria and my beloved continent - Africa, a nation full of human and natural resources bounded by nature's best features and capacity to rule the world but threatened by corruption, bad governance and international politics then you may be treated with respect as well. This is just my opinion. I love Africa and we can build Nigeria together. I will challenge you to also think of what you can do to change the situation of Africa and Nigeria while you are here, let every step you make count. I believe one day we will have the Nigeria of our dreams and we shall all return to embrace her. This is my vision for Africa.

I am proud of Nigeria and am a true African.

I am glad, many in this thread got their admission letter.

For those that hasn't, be a bit patient. However, if the date scheduled for response has passed by more than one week, try to contact admin office by email.

Keep it simple and short, that you would like to know the outcome if possible to start the money transfer process. Then wait for their reply. I know. Someone that did this and at end it came out positive even after being rejected last year. However, everyone has a special and unique style or luck.

Good luck, I keep praying for you guys.

@ chunaph @ lnxyz thanks for the help you guys are the bomb. Please how long does it take UiS to reply someone after he has send money into their account? I sent the money on Friday and gtbank sent me a mail that the money was deposited in their account. When sending I used my name and identification no.

It depends on your bank but should not take more than 3days.
Be a bit patient, you would be notified soonest.

Thank u very much @ lnxyz. Iv already applied for accommodation and accepted my offer. They were saying some thing about insurance what that about? Please what necessary steps I need to take for visa? I want to transfer the money first. What documents should I attach with my admission, receipt of deposit and passport.

You good to go!

Transfer the said amount into the account and within one or two days, you will receive confirmation of deposit.

You need this and your housing details for Visa application.

Insurance? what did they say about it?
