You have a point but the issue here is the channel Trump chooses to take. He could have incite his party member to sponsor the bill mandating compulsory id card for voter. Which is the normal thing to do instead of show of power. timota: |

Sorry to hear about your loss, may the Lord restore back to you in multiple folds all that is taken from you. I am interesting in how OPay/easy money transfer the loan to the number they transfer money to from your account. What do you tell them? What do you present as evidence? And what questions do they ask before doing that? maclatunji: |
The right question is ‘has he started buying crude oil at the new $100 per barrel price’. Why is it that immediate oil price raises in the international market he increases his price and not wait to exhaust the old stock. CuteTj: |
Is CBN just there to make policy? Can't they design the system and release it to the bank to implement into their platforms? The same question I asked when Nigerian banks moved their core banking system from foreign countries to an indigenous service provider because of the high dollar rate. Can't CBN come in and provide this service? If CNB is providing majority of these services, for me I think it will be easy for them to implement their law and rules. |
Yesterday when I saw this post, I was disappointed because the article is incorrect and they are putting word in their mouth by claiming GAFCON wanted to elect their primus inter pares (first amongst equals) to rival Canterbury. Below is the press release of the direction GAFCON chooses to tread. A COUNCIL TO LEAD THE COMMUNION. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, As we develop new structures for the Global Anglican Communion, the Gafcon Primates have dissolved the Gafcon Primates Council, which has faithfully led and served the Gafcon movement since 2008. In a world where most organizations and individuals are concerned about keeping power and authority, the Gafcon Primates Council has made an unprecedented decision to share its stewardship of the Global Anglican Communion by creating the Global Anglican Council which includes primates, advisors, and guarantors, which will include bishops, clergy, and lay members each with full voting privileges. This expanded Council reflects the willingness of the Primates to share their authority with a wider group of global Anglican leaders, both lay and clergy. While the Chairman of the Council will be a Primate, he will not be primus inter pares (first amongst equals). Believing that the current Instruments of Communion no longer meet the needs of the majority of Anglicans around the world, the Global Anglican Communion is to be led by a conciliar structure. The Global Anglican Council has discerned that if we are to move past old structures, we must leave behind old titles as well. I am also pleased to announce that Archbishop Laurent Mbanda was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Global Anglican Council, likewise Archbishop Miguel Uchoa was unanimously elected as Vice- Chairman and myself, Bishop Paul Donison, as General Secretary. Our terms will conclude at the end of GAFCON V in Athens in 2028. Furthermore, the Council determined that Primates who retire from their Provincial office between GAFCON Assemblies may remain on the Council until the conclusion of the next GAFCON Assembly. Today is a historic day for the Global Anglican Communion. Indeed, the future has arrived! Yours in Christ, The Rt Revd Paul Donison Gafcon General Secretary Thursday, March 5, 2026 |

Concerning bank network, they are using satellite Internet Service Provider, that is why there is always satellite dish in their vicinity. For those places you cant make phone I. Any say much may be you can give us the name of those town so that we can confirm mobile network coverage in those areas. Christmyhope post 138500106: I want the National Assembly to invite the head of telcos to come and make clarification on possibility of ensuring real-time transmission of results. I don't know how possible this can be in Nigeria because there are many times I have gone to bank to withdraw but I was disappointed that I couldn't make transactions because there was no network, here in Lagos state. And I have gone to some places in Ondo, ekiti, osun and Edo, where I could not make phone calls for several days. How is real time transmission possible in that areas? |
If you look at the scripture you quoted the story very well, the master was not angry with him because he refuse to clear the man’s debt but because he refused to show mercy like he has been shown mercy. He could has shown mercy and let his debtor go to pay later, make plan for little return on a weekly or monthly basic like you suggested but he trow the man into the prison, that was what angered the master, that you beg me i forgive you and now your dad tor begged you and you refused to show mercy. You can show gratitude to God by 1. Prayer and Thanksgiving: through prayer of thanksgiving for what Hw has done. Philippians 4:6-7 states, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." This verse emphasizes the importance of including thanksgiving in our prayers. 2. Worship: Worship is an another profound way to show gratitude. Psalm 100:4 says, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." Worshiping God in song, through music, is a way to honor Him and express thankfulness. 3. Sharing Testimonies: Sharing what God has done in your life can inspire others and glorify God. Psalm 105:1 encourages us, "Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done." This act of sharing can strengthen the faith of others and spread gratitude. 4. Like you posted we can show gratitude to Hod also be helping those in need, serving other etc When you do the first 3 above you are showing gratitude directly to God Se Emmy000seun: |
I commend this bold step, but it has its loopholes. I have seen where people bring in their personal POS Terminal and receive payment made for the organization into their personal biz account. I pray they will be able to monitor properly and not think bringing in POS Terminal alone will solve the problem Max24: |
You need to calm down and read my second paragraph very well. Well if someone has been having abortion all her life, it’s not out of order to advise her that the reason she is barren. I don’t listen to what Obasanjo said, but I insist if what he said paint a true picture of whom Fayose is, he (fayose) need to think about those word and change his ways and not attack the old man. Obasanjo presentation may not be appropriate but as long those word are true, Fayose need to change. aribisala0: |
One of the things we usually do, particularly at birthdays, burials, or other celebrations, is we usually blow the trumpet of the goods the celebrant has done, or how good he/she is. But we never call their attention to areas they may need to work upon or improve. I am not justifying what Baba Obasanjo did, but in order to know if what Obasanjo did was right or wrong, we need to look at his speech and consider if those words paint a true picture of Fayose or not. Obasanjo at his age, I believe his trying to make heaven and call a spade a spade. |
This story gets k-leg. I believed the gun should be in safety position, meaning if you shoot (pull the trigger) it will not shoot. What I don't get is how a madman overpowers a soldier, unlocks the gun from safe position, and opens fire on him. |

Maybe to vindicate the government or not, his post is also a wake-up call to the government about its responsibilities. They are covering these acts and threatening reporters not to report those incidents in the state. Also, this serves as information to know where it is safe in the state to visit and where it is not safe. Let us forget about politicking and focus on making our state and nation work. God bless. helinues: |
You challenge is both spiritual and physical and to be liberty over or, you might give the both battle. It is spiritual because Sexual sin is not just physical; it’s spiritual (1 Cor. 6:18-20). Satan uses sex as a yoke to enslave, but Christ sets us free (Gal. 5:1). Way out 1. Confess your sins and give you life to Christ. 2. Engage Prayer & Fasting for deliverance from this act 3. Don’t fight secretly. Share your struggle with a trusted mentor, pastor, or accountability partner that will monitor you and help you when the though come to your mind (James 5:16). Physical Strategies 1. Avoid triggers & access points by not going near the environment (brothels), block porn sites, movies, images, or social media accounts that fuel the lust. 3. Replace the habit with new activities (Idleness fuels temptation). You may replace it with sport etc 4. Seek the help of counselors |
This is more of the reason I don’t believe trump. If truly Russia is in trouble they would have agreed to the peace deal long ago. Jostoman: |
How on earth will you call somebody who gave birth to your children an outsider? Tolling this path is tantamount to preparing the suffering your children will experience after your demise. In some tribe the wife you didn’t even treat as an outsider they chase out, talk less of the one treated as an outsider. |
I am not a lawyer and am not sure how this work. But in Sowore's response letter to the DSS he made some arguments backed up with court cases that mean only Tinubu himself can charge him to court for defamation. |
He actually dispute what president Tinubu said by saying is he disconnected from reality , and wrote that some news outlet has also fact-checked it to be lie. Only that he focused on being disconnected from reality. I live this word he used “cloud-cuckoo-land” helinues: |
Don't break the door oooo, you should go to the court and get a proper document. Infact, they will follow from the court to break the door and go away with his properties. Imagine breaking down his door, packing out his properties, and he later shows up that he has properties more valuable than that or money, gold inside the house. Who will be your witness that you didn't take it? Akinfenwamight: |
To those asking what will happen to the food, one of the ideas behind this is also to feed the people. Looking at this setup, how are they planning to stir the rice inside this big pot, and what type of cooker are they planning to use? (gas?, electric fitted to the pot?) |
We must start thinking creatively to provide solutions instead of contributing to the existing challenges. YES, they have done a bad thing, lives are lost, BUT will killing them BRING BACK THE DEAD? , Will it solve the issue?, Will it stop future offenders? Will killing them feed the aged parent/relative left behind? If the answers to these questions are NO, then we need to approach things differently. Another bone of contention is are the people killed the real culprits? |
The state government and the security forces need to step up their game, things are getting out of hand. |
Given the recent report that COVID 19 vaccine caused cancer/linked with cancer, I think it’s appropriate the step they have took, also why make African a testing ground. Also, I have read about something like this before in China and I think it’s a success. My android phone had issue sometime ago and I can’t access the OPay app, so I decided to make use of ussd, used it between 10 to 15 times for just 3 transactions and I was glad they were not showing do you agree to this charge or showing ussd charges throughout the sessions. My bubble was busted when I was able to log into OPay app they deducted money for each of the sessions and I was surprised. Can’t remember the amount but it is lower compared to zenith bank that I do use also. |
In as much as I feel their pain. It is still a mystery to me that with all the support and loans the former president gave them, local rice still cost more than imported rice. I think that is why the current president opened the border. I think by now we should have seen the type of reformation, and price war seen in the petrol production. See how Dangote, importers and NNPC are competing and reducing their prices. But the case of local rice producers is different, their price is only going up and not coming down. |
Alaafin & his Media Aide Warning! By Elu Omo Elu Whoever should be appointed to write for a palace like that of Alaafin should be someone with deep sense of wisdom and knowledge. That warning piece by whoever writes it as Bode Durojaiye is not only embarrassing but also unimaginable with those disparaging words used. Yorùbá will say pẹlẹ lakọ o labo. This year will make it the 10th year of Ooni Ogunwusi on the throne and there has never been anytime, the king or the media arm of Ooni disrespect the institution of Alaafin, either in writings, in discussions or interviews. Never! Ooni Ogunwusi and Late Alaafin Adeyemi have never had cause to exchange words on anything, not even on Yoruba. They never did, as I can recollect. Not on superiority, not on titles, and not even in relationships. Ooni seek and earned that love. Similarly, Ifẹ and the people have always shown love to the Ọyọs but the same, has never been reciprocated. When Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi became a king in 2015, he paid homage to Alaafin in Ọyọ in an historic event, as a mark of respect to someone who is already on the throne before him, but for every hands of love, it is always one day of cry, another day of anger and one wonders if this is an agenda to draw the so called Yoruba land into pre colonial days ethnical banditry as warmongers. It's sad. On the recent unfounded noise of one title, it is a known fact that Ooni's Chieftaincy title to anyone for years as far back as 1980s bears Ifẹ in it. Ifẹ is such an historical place to many YORUBAs and with sense of pride, it's nothing to hide and replace for Yoruba land. In many cases, it's many towns that trace their root to Ifẹ, and this is a role Ifẹ has always served. The root, the source, the cradle and custodian. Even the history of Ọyọ and the those who came from Ọyọ can not be completed without mentioning Ifẹ. There will never be an Ọyọ town without someone coming from Ile-Ife to settle in Ọyọ. Pick any history book of Ọyọ today, you will see Ile-Ife ancestry there. This is the same ties many Yoruba towns have with Ifẹ. The Ijesha, the Ekitis, the Ìgbómìnàs, the Akokos, the Okuns, to the Itshekiris and lots of many sub ethnic groups who have historical connections to Ifẹ. This is to show the Ifẹ place in what they call Yorùbá land today and the common heritage we share and why the name Ifẹ can not be subdued for any YORUBAland. Ifẹ is enough. Notable title holders like Chief Obafemi Awolowo, his wife HID, and many politicians that Ooni Sijuade gave titles to in 2004 including Atiku, Gov Odili all either have Ifẹ or the Source in it. You have titles like Odole of Ifẹ, Baamofin of the Source, Yeyeluwa Oodua etc. The biggest title that the present Ooni Ọba Adeyeye has given anyone in the last 10yrs is the Odole of Ife to Chief Kessington Adebutu and it has nothing like Yorubaland in it. The latest title as announced by the man to be conferred, Dotun Sanusi shows clearly Okanlomo Odua. The man Jubril Dotun Sanusi wrote that clearly on his Facebook account 12hrs ago, only for Bode Durojaiye to rush to his page 6hrs after and start warning on behalf of the king with lies of "Yorubaland" usage. Anyone can search these posts which I will put in comment box. I wonder if Mr Bode hates the man Jubril Sanusi or he just want to create attention, tension and use that opportunity to attack Ooni. This is also sad. On the said publication, I have seen many people calling Ifes bad names and I wonder how someone will sit in his house quietly looking for what to eat and survive and some people somewhere in this age and time will mischievously be insulting others for mundane power arrogance. This is also disturbing. I want to believe that Alaafin Owoade has no hand in this, because some of us have respected him since he emerged and accorded him the respect he deserves. I will be utterly disappointed if he does, because a good leader don't allow such. Nigeria and today's YORUBA society is governed by Law and State governors appoint leaders of each community as guided by Law. OSUN State installed Ooni over Ifẹ people. And Ọyọ state installed Alaafin over his Ọyọ domain. Everyone can call himself what he likes, it's allowed but no one should use their office to cause mayhem in the society with sensational posts capable of disrupting the peace and tranquility we currently enjoy. We expect everyone to man their post, and bring development to their people in their own little capacity. This is the Yoruba will look forward to. As we await the 48hrs expiring date of the so called warning on nothing, and while Ooni always continue to look away as always - I hope people are keeping records of events. Tomorrow is always another day. ©Elu Ọmọ Elu |
1Alex:Yes, Samsung screens are durable, but the replacements don't hold up. You pay over half the price of the phone for a replacement, yet it still may not last. In my last experience, my phone fell from a stool. When I picked it up, the screen looked fine, but the next morning, it was completely filled with ink. |
