The Palestinians claiming Jerusalem are yet to tell the world the Arabic name for the place or their historical tie to the place other than a shrine or temple of their prophet.

Actually, Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Quran. A location mentioned in the Quran is assumed by faithfuls to be Jerusalem.

But the issue of Jerusalem should be looked at not through religion but through common sense. Common sense because there are Arabs and Jews who call Jerusalem home and need the peace without people complicating their lives with religious and irrational hardline stance.
