The problem with you Igbo people is that, you are constantly focussing on the centre. This is unlike the Yoruba people who are constantly demanding performance from their state governments, which also include state government repair, maintainance and construction of Federal infrastructures.

On the average, you see more road constructions in the Southwest than in any other region in Nigeria especially Federal roads done by the respective state governments of the Southwest.

It is only Governor Fayose that is not doing Federal roads.

We the Yorubas have decided long before now to not let Northerners tendency to cheat on other ethnic groups to affect us. This explains why we don't cry marginalization unlike you people.

It's easy to blame Awolowo for Genocide. You easily forget that Ojukwu decided the fate of his people that died of starvation. When given the option of having food and relief supplies delivered through land routes, he blatantly refused and instead wanted deliveries by air through World council of Churches (an organisation surreptitiously bringing in arms for the Biafran army).
In denying to have food delivered by land routes and given the the citizens who really needed it instead of commandeering it for his soldiers, Ojukwu sealed the fate of his people to die of hunger.

Blame Awolowo for keeping away all the allocations due to the Eastern Region and handing it over to them after the war!
