Change the solenoid switch/ valve body

Check the abs sensors on the hubs.

Op; is the ABS light permanently on? Cuz I had such experience on my wife's yaris after changing brake pads, dunno what the mech did, gear was not changing correctly anymore... changing the hub sensors corrected the gear madness after 4 different Toyota repair workshops condemned the gearbox at 45k..

Or its the solenoid switch in the gearbox valve body. It may have been blocked with dirts, sludge due to untimely gearbox service.

ABUJA – The management of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, disclosed
Monday that the corps will not fixed a deadline for a nationwide enforcement of
the new vehicle -number plate and driver’s license.
The Corps Marshal and Chief executive of FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, while
addressing newsmen shortly after a strategic retreat for its Zonal Commanders,
in Abuja, said that there was no deadline for the new driver’s license but urged
motorist to renew their particulars as at when due.
According to him, “On the uniform licensing scheme, the Court of Appeal
judgement, the scheme is on course but we are not setting any deadline date,
its going to be a circle period, so once your drivers licence expires, you go back
and renew your licence and also when your vehicle licence expires you go in the
process you cut over to the new plate number, and it is joint task force that is
empowered to do this.
“You are aware of the Court of Appeal judgment, but now if your license must
expire before you renew, if you don’t renew we will arrest you.”

Yea, i think that was part of the guess work, after they did, car ran alot better. Bucking came back before getting home from the mech.

I had to cuz all these dia guess work was too much.

Fixed, had to change the TPS, coolant sensor, all injectors, fuel pump and air filter, and its now ok. thanks y'all

Thanks guys, i did a scan twice, no code stored, check light is off. I removed the harness for the TPS and drove it, gear wasnt selecting properly, had to plug it back. when warm, Rpm stays at 1k when its on drive and ac on, once the Ac thermostat switches off the Ac, it goes above 1k, and when on neutral, it goes to 1.5k. Have changed 3 CTS from last week, still same. car doesnt idle well till the car is warm(noticed it runs great when the temp guage reaches the halh way make). Before it gets warm, high fuel consumption, bucking, no stalling though.

My sonata with 2.4L engine, auto tranny guzzles fuel outrageously. I noticed when i start it in the morning, the engine shakes like its flooded with fuel until the temp guage reaches the half way mark. this also applies to starting the car all other times. i also noticed the car accelerates on its own when warm. Could it be a bad coolant temparature switch responsible for the longer time it takes to warm up?

Note: thermostat still intact.
