Good day, Please has anyone responded to this enquiry? I made MRV payments for my son and I since October 29, 2024 and I am still unable to proceed to book an appointment. It tells me Bank details updated successfully and yet no progress. It's been nearly 3 months of frustration. Do I create a new profile and upload the payment details, will that work? I made the MRV payment at a First Bank brank since December 20, but I have not been able to proceed to schedule an appointment on the AVITS platform. Whenever I enter my amentum number on the bank deposit details page, it tells me "Bank details updated successfully" and takes me back to the page to enter the same details again. I really need to pick a date first, then, hope for a closer date. I have raised tickets to this effect and I was told the issue has been escalated to the Support Desk, yet, no resolution.
Also, I have been following the conversation here but I don't seem to understand something. I chose Lagos when I created my DS-160 form and was making payment. I want to change my location for the visa interview with the hope of being able to get a date that is closer. Is that possible, please? If yes, how do I go about it, please?

Please what happened to the first payment? Thanks. kushercain: I had this issue too. Paid on the 8th with online transfer but up till now, still nothing. I had to make another payment directly via firstbank over-the-counter deposit and it reflected the next day. I will advice you don't make payments on Friday because the deposit slip won't be valid over the weekend. I think that was where the issue came from. Hope they rectify it asap |

I have sent an email to an address I saw on this timeline, no response. The embassy telephone number seen also on this thread does not direct to a customer service agent, just automated responses. 1. You have to wait for 24 hrs and receive the payment confirmation before you can proceed. It can be 48hrs at time. Log in, and log out of AVITS twice in a day, the page will change for you to continue when they are ready. If by Friday nothing happens, then raise a ticket and call them next week.

Please I need help!!! This is stressing me out!!! The website keeps saying payment updated. It's been over 3 days now. Still haven't been able to pick an appointment date. Am I doing something wrong[? Please who can help with a way to contact them, a phone number preferably because I sent an email to an address someone advised and tet to get any response. What can I do about the 2nd payment I made for my son? larade16: Hi, you see that pending appointment, click on it and it will bring another payment receipt, click on generate, then there should be a cancel icon on the top right corner. When you cancel, it’s going to bring where you will input your amentum reference number and the date you made the payment. I had same issue for days and i was able to move past that stage this morning. |

I need help. I created my profile on AVITS and generated payment receipt which I made via transfer on the 29th October. I generated a 2nd payment receipt for my son and I also made payment using same profile. I checked after 24hrs and I went to my account and think I created a new profile because it keeps asking me to make payment again. This is the 3rd day, I have sent 4 support tickets, none has been responded to. I'm so worried about losing the money especially the one I paid for my son. Thank you.
