it's really much of a gimmick but gimmicks are needed for good marketing. thats why samsung will give you a heart rate sensor, a curved screen and wireless charging (who needs all this?) and give a high price in which many people will later rush for because of this gimmick specs

i was expecting this phone to come with a fingerprint sensor...although its still good sha but customers might want to go for those devices with a fingerprint sensor except those that take the specs of a phone seriously and are concerned about performance

The truth is 3gb is useless Android 5 doesn't consume that much its just to push price of phone even Apple is so optimised it doesn't need high ram or windows self.

I dont agree with u though and talking about Apple and windows, both are optimised with the hardware, Android on the other hand is open source that is why OEM are making their UI for better optimization of their device
