I am on this for more than 2hrs now using 12015 v 29950

Bet9Ja is on TP 11920 H 27499 on SES 5 to track it use TP 12016 V 29950 NHK World. Maximize this TP to it's highest (70-85%) and all the rest will stream in.

In regards to DSTV its located at 36E, and SES5 is at 5E so generaly you would have to move down your dish to the SES5 position.

When tracking a particular TP and you've got a very high strength but no quality, two things: one, Your LNB Skew is wrong - Solution is to skew it in the opposite direction.

Two: Your dish size may be too small for that bird Or that particular transponder may be off.

The difference is as you've typed 0.3 Degrees with a good dish mount / set-up you can bring down those two birds with one lnb. In this case Nilesat 7W and Eutelsat 7.3W.

In the case of also adding SES5 you'll need to make the 7W and 7.3W the main LNB then add the SES5.

Begin by checking your connections between the F-connectors, decoder port and wires, Then check your dish alignment, it may be the wind 'playing' with the dish.

Sorry my friend I am not on S*ort 24HD, and from the little research 4950H is unable to open up this channel for now.
We are waiting for a new pacth, maybe it'll be able to open then.

But the problem is not how to get the software as I already have the software downloaded. The problem is that when I try to downgrade srt4950h from v3.41 to maybe 2.2 or 3.11 I get error message saying software too old and the upgrade fails

Aaaah no problem, just rename the downloaded software to rom.bin.

For example the software you will download will be named SRT4950H_V3.11P_11122015.bin. Remove/rename it to rom.bin and put it into a clean flash drive.

Plug the usb drive into your decoder then switch it off.
Press the power button (round one) infront of your decoder then switch on the decoder while holding the power button.
And viola you will have downgraded your decoder to ver 3.11

Please house I beg u all in the name of God, I recently upgraded my 4950h to the new ui but I don't like the ui at all and I want to downgrade to the old ui. Please how do I go about it.



I uploaded the old srt4950h software to a flash drive before I upgraded to the new ui but when I try using it to revert to the old ui I get error saying software version too old and it fails.

If the new move is here to stay you most certainely can track it, first try as Chinedu7 noted Eutelsat 3.1E use TP 11150 V 45000. You may be lucky to also nail SES5 with the same Dish/LNB.

My signal drop severely since last week on ABS 3W. It's true they're also on 3.1E now but whether that is trackable here, i don't know because I haven't tried it. But Eutelsat 3.1e beam covers Africa.

Thanks I found it's a new 11150 V tp G4 Steerable beam. Updated/started transmission on 9TH January 2016.

Bet9ja is on SES5, Tracking TP 12015 V 27500, once you've got green on this TP blind scan your decoder and they'll come streaming in.

Try TP (Samaa tv) 4117 H 3333 once you have green at it's highest then input TP (Sony P*x) 3900 H 22222 and play with the lnb skew to maximize it (above 68%)

Not at all. Thank you. But do you know where I can get Al Jazeera English. It stopped for about a month now. I have a big dish connected are three LNBs across four or so satellites, Nilesat, Hotbird, Astra, Eutelsat36, and a small dish connecting 16deg Eutelsat. Is there any way I can get Al Jazeera?
