The Boko Haram sect in the north-eastern part of Nigeria has suffered serious losses in the hands of security operatives

Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has said that its Air Task Force of operation Lafiya Dole has destroyed a Boko Haram camp and killed several terrorists at Ngwuri Gana in Borno state.

A video released by the air force shows structures reported to be camps for members of the terrorist group in a community which NAF targeted with fighter jets and attack helicopters being set on fire.
The attack was in response to reports that members of the Boko Haram sect had planned to launch an attack on troop positions from the identified settlement.

Many people have been feared dead following a recent clash between two warring communities in Adamawa state.

No fewer than 30 persons have been reported killed as a result of a communal clash between two farming communities of Lafiya and Mamsirmi in Adamawa State.

The crises, which erupted on Tuesday last week between both communities in Lamurde Local Government Area, later spread to Boshikiri, a neighbouring community in Guyuk (LGA) of the state.
Eyewitnesses said 15 persons were killed from the Muslim community while their Christian counterpart lost 16 people.
