nairalanda1: AM going to say something that would make many people abuse me and hate me, but the problem with Nigeria is this your comment.
A house of reps member is not supposed to be dashing his constituents food, he is supposed to attract projects , to advocate for industries , to even help advocate for roads and so forth , so that they can build roads and so forth.
We can build a good welfare system in Nigeria that would provide food for people...but because it means taxing more of the gdp plus investing in industrial agriculture, most people on this site will cry poverty, and be saying that i dey talk somehow.
Plus, why can't churches, mosques and other individuals set up food banks in poor areas that would be open to feeding and providing the poor with money.
THe oil money we have, e no dey enough. And Nigerian leaders prefer to share food, because it gets quick votes. They don't want to take hard decisions that in the long run will bring prosperity because they want to lose elections.
Na so we go wake up to reality someday...instead of this renewed hope things government dey do. ....Any sane person should know your submission is nothing but the pure&undiluted truth... |

tonychristopher: MEET THE TWO IGBO UNIVERSITY VICE CHANCELLORS IN THE UK:
1. Professor David Uzo Mba, Vice Chancellor of Birmingham City University, UK. 2. Professor Charles Egbu, the vice chancellor of Leeds Trinity University, United Kingdom (UK). Note that no black African tribe, apart from the Igbo has produced university vice chancellors in the United Kingdom of Great Britain. Don't also forget that the 1st indigenous professor and vice chancellor in Nigeria was an Igbo man named Professor Kenneth Dike (1st black vice chancellor of the university of Ibadan). The 1st ever vice chancellor of the university of Lagos was an Igbo man named Professor Eni Njoku. The 1st vice chancellor of the University of Jos was also an Igbo man named Professor Gilbert Onuaguluchi. Igbo Amaka. ...I wanted to make a good will gesture until seeing the post full of ethnic colouration...I need not to counter your claim about Igbo being the first VC"s" of some Federal universities in Nigeria...I think you should try& research about why it happened &the implications........The implication is still haunting up-till this minute... helinues: Are they not the same who provided those things for the Ukraine? Have Russian Ukraine war ended hence they don't longer need it ...Nope,try&read the news again... America never provided Ukraine with drone interceptors but the patriot system so now America needs a cheap one like the interceptor the Ukrainians developed locally which is way far cheaper (1000 USD) compared to their patriot system which cost millions of dollars... Iranians are using cheap drones of 35,000 USD to cause havoc while America are using like 4 Milly USD to intercept so it is very logical for Trump to seek alternatives to cut spending |

Have the Ukraine Russia war ended
Trump is purely a joke as USA president ..They are not buying offensive weapons but defensive weapon like drone interceptors which Ukraine developed to counter Iranian made drones used by Russia & it's way cheaper than their patriot |

AlphaTaikun: I was originally going to BLOCK you for being "IRRESPONSIBLY uncouth" BUT I held back to educate you on the specifics of online etiquette. Youngster, you are sounding VERY unintelligent here! Learn to read properly before responding with knee-jerk reactions to important topics online.
NOW go back to my original post on this NL discussion thread page which I was already editing with more FACTS and solutions before your mention appeared.
The Kaduna State-born, Kogi State indigene, Tolulope Arotile was knocked down via a freak car accident at the Air Force Base with eyewitnesses. Nehemiah Adejoh who is Igala and a "Christian" like Tolulope Arotile is ALSO from Kogi State. It was indeed a case of careless driving on the part of Nehemiah Adejoh. He apparently NEVER meant to kill her but that is what he did. Period.
..I need not to make any further contributions on this because you really did a well calculated surgical & precised analysis. |
