A goat encountered lions on his way to the stream. They spared him but in exchange he had to lead them to his herd. The herd was terrified, and the goat became very powerful, ruling with an iron fist. He sacrificed others to the lions, and anyone who disobeyed him faced dire consequences. The goats lived in fear of him. To the lions, he was just a meal ticket, but to his people, he was a mighty king. The goats finally united and decided to boycott the lion's visits, staying hidden when they came around. The lions arrived, and the goat king stood alone, thinking he'd outsmart them. "No sacrifice today," he said. "I'm the king, leave!" The lions laughed, "Where's our sacrifice? The goat repeated no sacrifice I order you to leave now, then the lions looked at him and said "You are of no use to us any longer you'll be our sacrifice today." And with that, they devoured him. This story is not about the goat, you know who this speaks about.. the dangers of pride and power. Not just similar but the real illustration of the whole political drama...Kudos |
