Anyway, this is a funny thread ... Back to business : u guyz need to answer this two questions .... 1. Will muslims celebrate 'ileya' if assuming Abraham sacrifice his firstborn ?? ( coz that would mean firstborns will b roasted for ileya festival) If NO, y do it bcoz its a ram ! 2. Did Abraham even eat the ram after offering the sacrifice ??

The celebration is done cos a ram was subtituted for the son....had it been his son...then there will be no celebration.don't u get it. God had a perfect plan to bring the celebration into existence.
