Nairaland GeneralOn Snakes And Monkeys- My Thoughts by Isotopes2015(op): 6:21pm On Feb 23, 2018
On Snakes and Monkeys... My Thoughts.

Seeing how everyone is making jokes about the recent terrible lies from the government gives me serious concerns. Everyone just for one reason or the other find it funny that all this is happening. What has happened to our conciousness has youths?

Gone are the days in which Artistes spoke the mind of the populace to the government. They cried and wailed Our minds. Even though those songs hardly changed anything, they were our outspoken voice of displeasure to how things were run in our country.
Those songs were Hits back to back. Some even got banned but the truth was the government knew we weren't happy.

I am not even talking of way back has Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

* African China released hit songs like 'Crisis, Mr President, Our Government Bad'

* Sound sultan gave us 'Mathematics' and even did a collabo with 2face on the song 'Ole'

* 2face himself sang 'For instance'

* 2shotz sang 'Thief, Ole, Carry am go'

* Trybesmen sang 'plenty plenty Nonsense.

*Eedris Abdulkareem sang 'Nigeria Jagajaga' and got banned sef.

Do you still remember this songs?
They weren't jokes then.
They were our Voices.

What happened?
Nairaland GeneralThe Reason Why 'red' Is The Predominant Colour Of Love. by Isotopes2015(op): 7:38am On Dec 25, 2016
Am curious about this. The valentine, Christmas, Roses, strawberries and what ever thing that shows love always have one thing in common, The colour ‘Red’. Well, I was blessed some weeks ago when I caught the reason. I wish I could bless you also with this thought.

Have you heard of the greatest love story the world has ever witnessed? Yea, that one that occurred about 2000years ago. That one man expressed True Love to mankind. Came to be stricken, smitten and afflicted for things he didn’t do? The one that came to explain what true giving is. Giving without asking for this (which is transaction). He became sin for us even though he hasn’t sinned before? He came to shed his blood for the people before, now and after. That Son of God that came to save the sons of Man, so that, the Son of Men can become the Sons of God. Do You know him? If yes, congrats! Continue reading. If no, He’s name is Jesus Christ!

My point? Okay, this is it. “True Love sheds Blood”. Agree? Well, We all agree the major colour of (Human) Blood is Red. The greatest kind of love that the world has ever seen is in the blood of Jesus shed. No other love was greater. No other love is greater. No other love will be greater.

That blood from the love was red. It was found on the cross. He was sacrificed for us all even before we were conceived. He only ask you to use that gift of blood by believing so as to enjoy the benefits he provides. Salvation, Holiness, Righteousness, Justification, Forgiveness and Remission of sins, Eternal Life, Spiritual gifts, riches and Deliverance from the works of darkness are in the blood that was shed.

Believing in that blood gives us the opportunity to be in fellowship with the father. We are now adopted into the family of God. Jesus is our eldest brother. We are no longer condemned. Nothing can pluck us out of God’s hand. Nothing can take us away from his love. All this happen because of his blood. That’s the true love. That’s the true blood.

Believe in Jesus today. Its the best decision you will ever make in your life. Receive his life and attend a bible believing church to continue to grow in him.

Nairaland GeneralOn The MMM Freeze (or Rumoured Proposed Crash) by Isotopes2015(op): 12:41pm On Dec 14, 2016
It's been the saviour of our already cracking Nigeria. I must admit, it has been the best thing that have ever happened to most nigerians in a long time. It's even more timely for everyone that should have really been feeling the heat of the current backwardness caused by economic recession in our dear nation Nigeria.

For knowledge's sake, let me just define MMM in my own terms. MMM is a ponzi scheme that came all the way from Russia (not as direct as it sounds) through Mr Mavrodi(the most loved man by Nigerians in 2016 or infact ever) to Nigeria, so as to, heal the citizens of the country from the ruins, spoils and pains that the current administration in inflicting on them. Hope i got that right?

I think Nigerians (but the government and citizens) truly need to thank the whole of the MMM staff and whosoever brought it to Nigeria for the special intervention that it brought to the nation. It was too true to be doubted and infact, does that didn't sieze the opportunity (just like me) must have had a whole lot of strong will and self control. So, I say a very big thanks to Mr mavrodi, his brothers and that ibo man (the one people said brougt it to nigeria).

Well, I would just advice nigerians that have enjoyed (or still likely to enjoy) this oppurtunity to just relax. Yea, I mean it, RELAX! If you had trusted someone you didnt see with your huge sum of money for such a long time, I think 4 weeks isn't too much to wait on the LORD on thier behalf. The media reported that they just want to handle situations properly this month and then resume with a bang next year. So, why are you so troubled about just common freezing of your money. Who knows maybe they will come back with a bigger interest by January? Maybe 60% or infact 100%? Just Relax and hope it's not the end!

Well, I will keep a close tabs to see how it ends (because am still of the opinion that it hasn't). I also hope I won't have to write another post by next month to mock the biggest losers of the scheme.

#JustSaying
I actually dare my dearly beloved readers for comments and shares.
Love ya
Thanks.

Nairaland General10 Quotes To Help You Control The Thoughts In Your Mind. by Isotopes2015(op): 3:18pm On Dec 10, 2016
It's scientifically proven that out brain is the busiest part of our body and it controls anything and everything that is or will be part of our body system. That's unarguably true,(my opinion). Well, that's just a preamble of what this article is about.

Our minds! Yea, our minds! That's what i'm writing about. Did you know your mind works every time and everywhere? Your mind works when you are either thinking or not thinking. It works when you are awake or asleep, strong or weak, healthy or sick, rich or broke, sober or drunk, hungry or filled-up etc.It works all the time. It never stops working until when you stop working (I mean till death comes knocking). That's how powerful our minds are. Its always busy! There were thoughts in your mind before, they are there now and they will definitely be there later. Thoughts flow in and out. The Good, the bad and the ugly thoughts are always playing around our minds. They can be normal or weird, conventional or bizarre, life changing or life destroying. The question is, how do you handle them?

Here are 10 amazing quotes on how to get the best out of the influx of thoughts in our minds:

1. What's on your mind becomes what's in your life. So think the thought you want to see.
2.Your mind is a powerful thing, when you hold on to the positive thoughts, your life will steer to the positive side.
3. It all begins and ends in your mind. What you give power to, has the power over you if you allow it.
4. All that you accomplish or fail to accomplish with your life is as a direct result of your thoughts.
5. Every man is where he is today by the law of his being; the thoughts which he has built into his character have brought him there.
6. A man cannot directly choose his circumstances, but he can chose his thoughts, and so indirectly, yet surely, shape his circumstances.
7. The vision that you glorify in your mind, the idea that you enthrone in your heart, this is what your life will be built on and what you will achieve.
8. Be careful what you think because your thoughts run your life.
9. Whatever you hold in your mind on a consistent basis is exactly what you will experience in your life.
10. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he!

Hope they were helpful? Think POSITIVE! Take charge of your mind and let's meet in greater heights!

Christianity EtcLife, Death And Resurrection Of Jesus In One Piece Of Poetry! by Isotopes2015(op): 2:16pm On Dec 04, 2016
Oh world!, Oh world!

What else?, What more?

Why this? Why that?

You complained of the laws.

They looked too tough!

Help, Help! Is all you asked!

God heard, God heard!

So as the prove that He is our lover,

He got ready to bring that long desired changed!

He then gave a mandate to Prophets

To announce to the whole world

That they should get ready for that remake!

Jesus' paths were made straight!

He was conceived without strains.

Even got his names before his birth!

Ow! How wonderful,

First and Best of his brooding.

He would have had a lot of groupies!

Just like every other child,

He grew up the normal style.

Most likely went through some strife.

From Joseph's furniture works,

to the elder's scriptural talks,

He never failed to claim the floor.

Fast forward to 30years.

He has spent time in the wilderness.

All to cure us from this bitterness.

So, from the river he arose!

Endorsement came like a dove,

Announcement came from above!

He overcame all temptations,

Brought 12 into his cooperation.

After they withdrew from their various occupations.

The work started,

The change became evident,

Even if not everyone supported.

The flow of healing was never hindered.

Demons, diseases and darkness were conquered.

No more needs for sacrificial slaughters.

To and Fro he moved,

False doctrines and practices he removed,

A new order is about to resume.

The hour of manifestation is here,

Prophecies must to adhere

So accusations started to appear.

A volunteering betrayer,

Lies, scorn and blasphemies were required.

The supposed judgement of the world, he acquired.

He was smitten, stricken and afflicted.

For our sins, he became wounded.

For our peace, he was offered chastisement.

The painful stripes healed us.

His travails made us all righteous,

He is now the intercession for all transgressors.

Still didn't end there,

Body laying bare!

His life still wasn't spared!

The temple got destroyed

But in three days, was restored.

Glory! Glory!! A new order has been bestowed!!!

It is Finished!

The law is now abolished.

The world has been refurbished.

The head of the serpent has been bruised.

The veil has been removed.

We are now in his brood!

He still had greater plans

So, as he left for the eternal,

He left us with a comforter

to guide, lead and propel us

into the perfect image of the one that is righteous.

as we continue to trust.

Oh! Ye People,

Why do you still act feable,

When his grace is available?

Relish, believe and recieve!

That's all you need

to live the life that JESUS lived.

"Naija is 51.
Some are celebrating why some are roaming helter skelter homeless and jobless.
Some will use bombs as bangers.
how are you celebrating or are u not.
Nigeria great people great nation".

Thanks to Facebook for keeping this memory.
I wrote that post 5 years ago, hoping that it might be improved on but its sad to see that it has worsen. So it won't be bad if I write this again!

While some are celebrating with millions of naira in the name of national, state or local cakes, so many will still be roaming helter skelter in the name of been homeless and jobless.

Where as, some think their several religious centres are the best place for this kind of celebration. Most people will actually remain at home watching TV and will just prefer seeing as the news (good or bad) unfolds.

Some even will think its better to celebrate with bombs exploding as fireworks or gun shots spreading round like water from an irrigation process!

Not forgetting also, our dear brothers and sisters who would prefer to take the partying to several clubhouses and lounges.

Oh! How ironic
Nigeria! Great People!! Great Nation!!!

How are you celebrating your nation at 56?
