Considering their performance in the last world cup and the recent strengthening of their football league by the influx of already-made stars around the world, Eagles will sweat it out, if they are to win against them. It will not be like Sao Tome o.

Ignore their fifa ranking at 54th o. Afterall Ghana is 60th and we 39th, still Ghana will beat us on a sunny day.

Eagles don't need to undermine them. We must play them like we'd play our jealous neighbors, Ghana; and not wish a 3/5-0 win against them.

Thank you @SenecaTheYonger, @Socialmediaman, @Brownemeka, @KingLennon, and every other person for your opinions. I have taken it into advisement and decided on the way forward.
@Myer, hm, no blood is going to be on my head eh. Olila!

After due consultations, I have made a decision. The property will be under lock and in the hands of the lawyer for now. I may not disclose details here for security reasons, cos I can see some justice seekers and mobmen here already blaming me for my negligence, but I have learnt my lessons.

Thank you all.

Properties / My Tenant Was Burnt To Death by Israel5(m): 4:52pm On Sep 11, 2023
I have just been informed by neighbours from my house in my home town that my tenant was burnt to death by people in the environment. They almost burnt my house too but for some interventions. They ransacked the entire house, burn any item they could find, cutting down trees and pulling down doors.

He was accused of stealing and selling children. Four children have been reported missing. He confirmed it, only that they can not be recovered. That was before they meted jungle justice on him. He was survived by a wife and four children. The family are in police custody now. All his properties brought out and set on fire.
As I write, I am in shock right now. I can't travel there. All the while this devil told me he deals with Rice and other food items. He usually comes to Abuja to sell his items, asking to visit my house but for some reason I refused to let him. I have never him physically though. I thought he was a good man, how that he helped secure the property. It was after his death yesterday, I got to find out that he rented other rooms to some students and was collecting rent. Unfortunately, the properties of these students were burnt too. Not my problem.

I have contacted a property lawyer, and sent him there. He confirmed the incident, but asked me to sell the entire property.

Is that the right call? Seeing that the people see the house as bad omen now.
Please what do I do? Am I going to be implicated? I don't know the devil.

This is not ECOWAS problem now.

But it is interesting to note that this is another France controlled territory. These countries are tired of the French turning a blind eye to failed governance cum democracy, that has undermined the will of the citizens.
I won't be surprised if the french embassy is sent packing soon after.
African countries who were supposed to be independent from France have had the french force leaders down their throats for too long.
One after the other, from West Africa to Central Africa, this shege will stop.

I hope the Western controlled states also, Nigeria, will one day take their destinies into their hands, and set themselves free of democratic snake backed corrupt leadership.

Politics / Re: What Will Wike Bring To The FCT As A Minister? by Israel5(m): 8:52am On Aug 19, 2023
This is simple, take this to the bank and cash out (don't): APC has forseen a rerun of the 2023 PE, and they will do all they can to bring the verdict of the PEPT to that resolution.

For the Labour and PDP, that's the least they expect of the PEPT judgment. The best for them would be that Tinubu be removed and either of them be declared winner.

Now, the APC plan is, Wike in the FCT will guarantee massive votes from FCT, either by hook or crook. And you'd be right to ascertain a definite crookery. He's an election monster.

So, learned compatriots, what animal is this?

Foreign Affairs / Biden: US Is North Korea’s ‘biggest Enemy’, Says Kim Jong Un by Israel5(m): 10:11am On Jan 09, 2021
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said the United States is his nuclear-armed nation’s “biggest enemy”, state media reported Saturday.

The declaration comes less than two weeks before the inauguration of Joe Biden as US president, and after a tumultuous relationship between Kim and the outgoing Donald Trump.

Kim and Trump first engaged in a war of words and mutual threats, before an extraordinary diplomatic bromance that featured headline-grabbing summits and declarations of love by the US president.

But no substantive progress was made, with the process deadlocked after a meeting in Hanoi broke up over sanctions relief and what the North would be willing to give up in return.

Pyongyang “should focus and be developed on subverting the US, the biggest obstacle for our revolution and our biggest enemy”, Kim told the five-yearly congress of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea, the official KCNA news agency reported.

“No matter who is in power, the true nature of its policy against North Korea will never change,” it quoted him as saying, without mentioning Biden by name.

Pyongyang has poured vast amounts of resources into developing its nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles, which it says it needs to defend itself against a possible US invasion.

The programmes have made rapid progress under Kim, including by far its most powerful nuclear blast to date and missiles capable of reaching the whole US, at a cost of increasingly stringent international sanctions.

The North has completed plans for a nuclear-powered submarine, Kim said — something that would change the strategic balance.

“New planning research for a nuclear-powered submarine has been completed and is to enter the final examination process,” Kim told the congress.

The country should “further advance nuclear technology” and develop small-sized, lightweight nuclear warheads “to be applied differently depending on target subjects”, he added.

The comments came in Kim’s nine-hour work report to the meeting, spread over three days, which KCNA was reporting in detail for the first time.

Jobs/Vacancies / Recruitment: NDLEA Releases List Of 5,000 Successful Candidates by Israel5(m): 3:14am On Jan 09, 2021
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has released the list of successful applicants in its ongoing recruitment exercise.

NDLEA spokesman, Deputy Commander of Narcotics (DCN), Jonah Achema, announced this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja.

Mr Achema urged successful candidates to visit the agency’s website www.ndlea.gov.org for the list adding that those shortlisted had also been contacted via E-mail and SMS.

According to him, the candidates had applied for different vacancies, some of which were invited for job competency test.

“The affected candidates, numbering 5,000, are to appear at the Agency’s Academy, Citadel Counter-Narcotics Nigeria, (CCNN), Katton-Rikkos, Jos, Plateau State for the screening and documentation exercise between January 10 and 23, 2021 at 0900 hours daily.

“The candidates are divided into four different groups for the screening, in adherence to the COVID-19 pandemic protocol.

“The order and schedule for the exercise according to the group into which the candidates fall are also indicated. They are expected to arrive a day ahead of their screening period,” said Mr Achema.

He added that successful candidates were expected to be issued letters of appointment and documented immediately upon successful screening.

“Candidates are, therefore, to report for the screening exercise with their guarantors’ forms, originals and duplicates of academic credentials, birth certificate or age declaration and indigene certificates.

“They are also expected to come along with certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital as well as a pair of shorts, T-shirts, canvass and stockings,” the NDLEA spokesman said.

NAN reports that President Muhammadu Buhari had approved the recruitment of 5,000 personnel for the agency to boost its manpower in July 2019.

The process began in August 2019, while the aptitude test was conducted in December.

Family / Re: Deji Yesufu: Resolving Marriage Crisis The Governor Ortom Way by Israel5(m): 5:55am On Dec 09, 2020
I believe this writeup had the christian community in mind. I can't be wrong. But I can almost feel the presence of atheists and troublemakers commenting. Why is the reconciliation paining some of you?? As far as a Christian marriage is concerned, there is always room for reconciliation, no matter the hurt incurred. Who heads the reconciliation plan is what's in contention here, I suppose. But mind you, the governor is also a father, an elder & a Pastor, so give him a break.

Doctor & Journalist?! hmm. From experience, I can bet she earns more, so tell me... it would take grace to respect the one that God has placed as head. No pun! she won't be without a fault. But a lot of Christians are quick to judge one party, calling for divorce, etc. There should be sanctions by ChannelsTV (I want that). However, even if the man is guilty, the woman isn't ready to quit. Is she?! she probably wants him to be sorry again (Yes! she's put up with it for 6years). She has probably made a mistake with marrying such a man, like many do, but he is not beyond redemption. Too bad she made the mistake of giving some misfits the duty to advise her on social media.

Simply put: Marriage is for the Godly. The manual is the scriptures, not the media or government. No body, not even a spiritual leader, will be a good spouse, if they do not play by the rules of engagement; Agape love (as Christ love the Church), & Respect for each other. Love of God would transcend to your spouse. And respect for each other. Deji A. said made valid points. Marriage is a mystery that no none spiritual entity can be successful in it. It is a spiritual union for the spiritual. Shalom.

You might need to get yourself checked today.
Health / Bipolar Disorder: Things To Know by Israel5(m): 6:18pm On Oct 13, 2020
Bipolar disorder, formerly called manic depression, is a mental health condition that causes extreme mood swings that include emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression).

When you become depressed, you may feel sad or hopeless and lose interest or pleasure in most activities. When your mood shifts to mania or hypomania (less extreme than mania), you may feel euphoric, full of energy or unusually irritable. These mood swings can affect sleep, energy, activity, judgment, behavior and the ability to think clearly.

Episodes of mood swings may occur rarely or multiple times a year. Although bipolar disorder is a lifelong condition, you can manage your mood swings and other symptoms by following a treatment plan. In most cases, bipolar disorder is treated with medications and psychological counseling (psychotherapy).

Symptom and types

There are several types of bipolar and related disorders. They may include mania or hypomania and depression.

Bipolar I disorder: You've had at least one manic episode that may be preceded or followed by hypomanic or major depressive episodes. In some cases, mania may trigger a break from reality (psychosis).
Bipolar II disorder: You've had at least one major depressive episode and at least one hypomanic episode, but you've never had a manic episode.
Cyclothymic disorder: You've had at least two years — or one year in children and teenagers — of many periods of hypomania symptoms and periods of depressive symptoms (though less severe than major depression).
Other types: These include, for example, bipolar and related disorders induced by certain drugs or alcohol or due to a medical condition, such as Cushing's disease, multiple sclerosis or stroke.

Bipolar II disorder is not a milder form of bipolar I disorder, but a separate diagnosis. While the manic episodes of bipolar I disorder can be severe and dangerous, individuals with bipolar II disorder can be depressed for longer periods, which can cause significant impairment.

Although bipolar disorder can occur at any age, typically it's diagnosed in the teenage years or early 20s.

Mania and hypomania

Mania and hypomania are two distinct types of episodes, but they have the same symptoms. Mania is more severe than hypomania and causes more noticeable problems at work, school and social activities, as well as relationship difficulties. Mania may also trigger a break from reality (psychosis) and require hospitalization.

Both a manic and a hypomanic episode include three or more of these symptoms:

Abnormally upbeat, jumpy or Increased activity, energy or agitation, Exaggerated sense of well-being and self-confidence (euphoria), Decreased need for sleep, Unusual talkativeness, Racing thoughts, Distractibility, Poor decision-making — for example, going on buying sprees, taking sexual risks or making foolish investments.

Major depressive episode

A major depressive episode includes symptoms that are severe enough to cause noticeable difficulty in day-to-day activities, such as work, school, social activities or relationships. An episode includes five or more of these symptoms:

Depressed mood, such as feeling sad, empty, hopeless or tearful (in children and teens, depressed mood can appear as irritability)Marked loss of interest or feeling no pleasure in all — or almost all — activities. Significant weight loss when not dieting, weight gain, or decrease or increase in appetite (in children, failure to gain weight as expected can be a sign of depression). Either insomnia(lack of enough sleep) or sleeping too much, Either restlessness or slowed behavior, Fatigue or loss of energy, Feelings of worthlessness or excessive or inappropriate guilt, Decreased ability to think or concentrate, or indecisiveness, Thinking about, planning or attempting suicide

In addition, bipolar symptoms may occur during pregnancy or change with the seasons.

Symptoms in children and teens

Symptoms of bipolar disorder can be difficult to identify in children and teens. It's often hard to tell whether these are normal ups and downs, the results of stress or trauma, or signs of a mental health problem other than bipolar disorder.

Children and teens may have distinct major depressive or manic or hypomanic episodes, but the pattern can vary from that of adults with bipolar disorder. And moods can rapidly shift during episodes. Some children may have periods without mood symptoms between episodes.

The most prominent signs of bipolar disorder in children and teenagers may include severe mood swings that are different from their usual mood swings.

When to see a doctor

Despite the mood extremes, people with bipolar disorder often don't recognize how much their emotional instability disrupts their lives and the lives of their loved ones and don't get the treatment they need.

And if you're like some people with bipolar disorder, you may enjoy the feelings of euphoria and cycles of being more productive. However, this euphoria is always followed by an emotional crash that can leave you depressed, worn out — and perhaps in financial, legal or relationship trouble.

If you have any symptoms of depression or mania, see your doctor or mental health professional. Bipolar disorder doesn't get better on its own. Getting treatment from a mental health professional with experience in bipolar disorder can help you get your symptoms under control.

Causes

The exact cause of bipolar disorder is unknown, but several factors may be involved, such as: Biological differences and Genetics.

Complications

Left untreated, bipolar disorder can result in serious problems that affect every area of your life, such as:

Problems related to drug and alcohol use, suicide or suicide attempts, legal or financial problems, Damaged relationships, Poor work or school performance.

Prevention

There's no sure way to prevent bipolar disorder. However, getting treatment at the earliest sign of a mental health disorder can help prevent bipolar disorder or other mental health conditions from worsening.

If you've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, some strategies can help prevent minor symptoms from becoming full-blown episodes of mania or depression:

Pay attention to warning signs
Addressing symptoms early on can prevent episodes from getting worse. You may have identified a pattern to your bipolar episodes and what triggers them. Call your doctor if you feel you're falling into an episode of depression or mania. Involve family members or friends in watching for warning signs.
Avoid drugs and alcohol. Using alcohol or recreational drugs can worsen your symptoms and make them more likely to come back.
Take your medications exactly as directed. You may be tempted to stop treatment — but don't. Stopping your medication or reducing your dose on your own may cause withdrawal effects or your symptoms may worsen or return.

GOTVee:
sad I have been a dedicated born again Christian for over 25 years and i have never seen anyone speaking the truth to the alter like Daddy freeze. It's unfortunate that Christianity has been commercialized by those business men in suits we call pastors. Imagine a sensitive issue like SARS killings Nigerians and yet none of them could raise their voice in solidarity. We all witnessed their vituperations when freeze attacked their tithes and offering with scriptural backing. We saw how ferocious they were in shouting down the CAMA bill. What else do we need as proof that these pulpit fraudsters are not Christ like in their dealings?

This is why i like MURIC and other Islamic groups. They will rather protect the interest of Muslims than watch from the sidelines. We Christians really have a lot of positive lessons to learn from our Muslim brothers and their ways of life. I'm sometimes ashamed to be a Christian. Honestly sad

Judge! You've wasted 25years of your life in religion. You don't know how to address spiritual matters, as it concerns the church. Leave the so-called pastors alone; face your ancient tradition. If you like the Islamic lot that much, convert.
Be careful with the next thing you say, you're closer to the end than you think.

Religion / How Christian Bloggers "Betray" The Church by Israel5(m): 4:06pm On Sep 24, 2020
Some Christian bloggers are fond of presenting the messages of their Pastors(spiritual cover), that are capable of stirring up controversies, to the world. They either do this out of ignorance, or with impunity.

Certain messages are for the followers(spiritual sons & daughters) of that Man of God alone. But You give the world the opportunity to "judge" the church by your insensitivity. Knowing fully well that they seek to prey on "supposed" Christian flaws.

1Corinthians 2:14-15.

14. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

The church can not be judged by the world. You must ensure that. "The world" may also include so-called Christians that have employed themselves to be used of the devil in shaming Ministries and Christian Ministers they do not understand.

Dear Christian blogger, you owe it to GOD to share Truth rather than sugarcoat stories or quote Pastors out of context. Worse is when you worship in their ministries.

Of a truth, not all bloggers that publish stories about Christian leaders are Christians or members of that particular denomination; however, it is incumbent on you that is a member to correct such errors in defending the Gospel in your trade.

Remember, We will be accountable for all our actions when the Master_JESUS CHRIST comes back. Maranatha!

You don't have to share in my opinion.
