A man have heart disease and later develop ED. The ED was caused by the heart disease. I have listed the possible causes of ED for you and you are still saying ED have no definite cause. Which school did you finish from? Your example of fever and diagnosis of malaria shows you are really a scientist. Is it only malaria (plasmodium faciparum) that can cause fever? Do you know there are so many things that can cause fever that are not due to virus, parasite, bacteria infections?

Let me make an example for you. A man is diabetic. He doesn't control his sugar level. He later develops Chronic kidney disease (CDK) . What caused the CKD? Diabetes. Or a man has uncontrolled Hypertension and later develops stroke. What caused the stroke? Hypertension!
Same way a disease like diabetes, Hypertension, hyperlipidemia etc can cause ED.
Even though you are a scientist, don't always see diseases from the eyes of bacteria, virus, fungi, parasite. There are so many diseases that are not due to micro-organisms.

1. You talked about masturbation causing trauma. Yes it can, which is usually small bruises on the penis. But masturbation is not likely to cause trauma that will lead to ED.
2. You talked about "loss of attraction to a partner". Loss of attraction to a partner can cause ED but masturbation doesn't cause loss of attraction to a partner. Watching pornography does that.
