BabsO2: UBA still grew TOTAL customer deposits by 10.4% which is just about the same rate Zenith grew customer deposits. UBA total customer deposits is double that of GTB.
If you look purely at only day to day customers UBA even grew deposits better than Zenith.
These are vote of confidence signs by customers to UBA’s banking services. Exactly why I feel there's foul play in their result. UBA have more customer appeal (both high income and middle class) than zenith bank. People trust uba more than zenith bank here in the north. There's no reason why they should not be making more money than zenith bank. I suspect foul play by their *perspire to aspire*chairman |

yMcy56: From the look of things, it seems this kind of "Exceptional Bull 🐂 Period" comes once in a long year, maybe certain decade(s) or so, it's looking more like a Cycle....
Guess there's nothing anyone or any negative news can do about it.
It's just my opinion o....because it's difficult to explain what's up...😊
I could remember a period where getting just +10% or 20% on a stock was a Herculean task, the stocks will just not move no matter the good news....
So I think it's just the period too...because how stocks are easily doing 100%, 200%, 500% is beyond explanations......It's not about dividends alone......IMO 😊 We are likely at the end of business cycle. it may not happen this year. but we are definetly close. The market will definitely punish misallocation of capital |

Bluearrow: I think u should stop with all these your hopium! What do u mean by we are in bear & not in bear?? January ending u posted here btcee will attain ATH in March, first week of February the market crashed! Were u expecting the crash to 60k in February? Btcee don't work with emotions, it is either bear or bull, so far we are in bear. Everyone expected btcee touching 80k minimum in March, yet it couldn't. Don't let this little pump deceive u, the momentum is weak.
Around November when ilegen.dd & grace.glory called it here btcee has slipped into Bear, alot of u guys kept arguing with clarity act. Look at the prices of all the coins today as compared to last year when ilege.ndd stated we are in bear market? Bear is expected to end by October, we are already in May, so what are u still saying? Na this hopium cause many people no take profit last year So he was bullish in January? I won't reply him again. Na guguru analyst 😂 |

pluto09: I think it is 25% that one can withdraw just like Itzlinda said. It is good that people should have control of their money but go and ask people who have withdrawn the 25% what they did with it. More than 90% of those that withdrew the 25% will spend it and not invest That's the problem. Everyone has his reasons for collecting the money. Some are collecting to finish their building project, some want start a side hustle. Everyone has his intention tho. My intention when I receive mine is to invest between spx and dividend yielding Nigerian stocks. I pray God give me the discipline to be reinvesting the dividends. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Itzlinda(f): 7:41pm On Apr 18 |
emmanuelewumi: I don't think so. You can withdraw 25% if you are out of job for a period of 3 months and above. This is allowed once
You can also opt for an early retirement at the age of 50. After which you will be given 25% of your RSA value and then get a monthly pension from the balance, which can be annuity or programmed withdrawal Are you still in public service sir? I am in active service and this new initiative was implemented I think a year ago or so. I have seen more than 100 people that processed and collected 25% of their pension fund. You need to collect introduction letter from the account department of your organisation and take it to your pension fund. What I am telling you is not based on hearsay or rumours, I have helped friends collected the introduction letter from our office and their money was credited to them. My office is close to the account department so those collecting the introduction letter mistake my office as the accountant office. What you mentioned is the old system on how the pension fund work before. Changes have been made now. |

emmanuelewumi: If you have been making good investments over the years the so called huge funds in your pension fund can't be as huge as your personal Retirement portfolio.
Let the fund in your Retirement Saving Account be. I don't think you will be allowed to move the fund in your RSA into the stock market, keep on enjoying either annuity or monthly programmed withdrawal from your retirement account You can now withdraw 25% of your pension fund if you have worked for atleast 10 years. |

daharry: Just do what saves you money, that's the most important before thinking about even making extras.. As for the leg down.. I don't see the market breaking the recent lows a per a leg down move cause the next leg down would be starting from higher prices anyway, I'm willing to stick my money here in alts especially cause I think these lows would not be visited until this run is done in early 27.. Would BTC comes back down to 40k? Yes I believe it will, but the timing is not right now and not in 6 months time.. In fact by that time we'd be starting a new leg higher or in the middle of a new leg that would take us to new highs.. Since I don't believe this is a new cycle, I'd sticks to 170k for BTC and 8.5 for ETH.. so you still think we are not in a bear market or you think this bear market is different? Altcoins? I rather buy a land in a bush than buy an altcoins. highest i can invest in any alt is $100. Even If I want to buy an alt how do I figure out which one to buy among more than 1 million of them? na now I de even realized how foolish I was buying them in 2023. Because I faced same dilemma back then about what to buy. I went just make some research in youtube and x and bought what all these influencers are shilling I should have figured out it is madness buying them since I there is no really way to evaluate them like stocks. it is all based on hype |

daharry: If by October bitcoin is closer to ATH, would you buy? That's the only question that needs to be answered... If I want to chart btc it would be like this: we go up from here to when the new Fed Chair comes, then we distribute at 90-98k for a few weeks before the next leg down.. That leg down would be in sync with the 4yr cycle but I don't think we'd get a price lower than the one we get on Feb 6th hence why I think a higher low then at 74k or extreme 68k if it comes.. and time wise, I don't think we'd spend much time consolidating like we did here, hence why think we'd be trading closer to ATH and a blow off top in Q4 and early Q1 27 I won't. I will wait for another leg down. Opportunity will always present itself. If there's anything in the last 5 years is managing risk and never to chase to pump. It is better to lose 100% pump than to see your portfolio down 50-60%. Warren buffet has has been sitting in cash for almost two years. I have trippeled my investment in Ngx in just one year. Bitcoin isn't even the best investment in the last 5 years. If I don't see good entry, I wait for one or look somewhere else |

daharry: Lol.. Keep dreaming... And I'm not here to be Nostradamus with predictions that must come to pass, I'm here to learn and refine my strategy.. And what I see generally for the Altcoin and BTC is to the upside and new ATH by Q4 to early 2027.. After a big bull market for tech stocks (BTC and alts) I see a big bull market somewhere else, Energy and commodities.. What happens when energy becomes expensive? RECESSION.. BEN COWEN DID NOT GET 90% OF THE CYCLE RIGHT THOUGH.. and he said march would be bullish with a bearing April may, but we are in April with the price going above 78k with even higher upside to come between now and June.. I guess you're all waiting for 40 BTC in October Q4.. let's see how price action unfolds.. He said there will be weakness in early April. Pull out your chart and see if there's no pull back early April. I'm not waiting for any particular price. I only buy if there's blood bath in the market. He said if by October bitcoin isn't below 60k. He'll still buy |

daharry: I still maintain a rally for BTC into 95k possibly 98k and 3k or 3.5k for ETH before any major pullback going into June/july.. From here.. alts would run till 2027 Feb-March when the recession everyone is waiting for this year would kick in, by then we’d all be screaming higher. With your shitfluncers like Ben Cowen calling it a new 4yr cycle and higher target for BTC.. You are calling Ben Cowen shitfluncers? 😂 Dude is the only one that got it 90% right this cycle? Tell me how many times your prediction has come to pass. |

Streetinvestor2: Baba God dey our side.He no fit let us be swallowed by evil OANDO will do #500 when the time comes.Let the financials correct finish. Sha give us heads up. make we follow you chop Anyway, with the atmosphere I noticed in the north, I think the only way Tinubu will get re-elected again is if he massively rigged south-west and south-south result. That's the only for him to win the second term. Even the APC members in the north are not going to vote him because of the hardship. many believe he is only waiting to win the second term and the hardship will double. May God help us sha. I am starting to believe the person at the top is not really the issue but our collective attitude as a people, and the system in general is the problem. My bangledash friend told me after they succesfully toppled the last government through protest and riot, there is now insecurity in the country and the new leaders appeared clueless on how to tackle it. on corruption, he said some sectors have improved while others have gotten worse, and the new leaders that took over appeared to be hungry and are looting more than the old government. I just tire for all the third world countries. seems like a curse. May God choose the best for us |
