Christianity Etc › Re: The Dawn Of A New Day by ivbarue(m): 6:36pm On Jun 21, 2024 |
Amen Apstlat: "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5). The darkness of night represents the challenging seasons of our lives, but the promise of morning symbolizes the triumph of hope and joy over adversity.
Just as the Israelites journeyed from the bitter waters of Marah to the refreshing waters of Elim, God is leading you from sorrow to joy. He transforms our difficult situations into blessings, just as He turned bitter water into sweet (Exodus 15:22-27). Through our wilderness experiences, God watches over us, providing for our needs (Deuteronomy 2:7).
Today marks the end of your wilderness period. It's time to step into God's promises. Isaiah 60:1 urges us to "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you." This is your appointed time to move from despair to hope, from struggle to favor. Just as Jesus calmed the storms for His disciples, He is calming the storms in your life.
Your brighter day has arrived. With faith and confidence, step into this new season of abundance and joy. Leave the wilderness journey behind and walk into a place of joy and peace. The glory of the Lord is upon you, and your appointed time has come.
May this message inspire you to embrace the joy and promises of God. May your life be filled with hope, peace, and abundance. |
Christianity Etc › Re: When God Says Yes by ivbarue(m): 2:19pm On Jun 13, 2024 |
Lord, locate me with your mercy and favour Apstlat: When God says yes, everything in creation aligns with His command. The authority of God's word is absolute, compelling even the universe to obey instantly. Just as God’s declaration, “Let there be light,” brought light into existence without hesitation (Genesis 1:3), His yes to our prayers and needs commands every barrier, obstacle, and opposition to yield. Isaiah 55:11 affirms that God’s word never returns void but accomplishes His intended purpose, demonstrating the unstoppable power of His affirmative response, as Psalm 33:9 states, “For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm.”
Our daily battles and challenges are already won when God says yes. This divine decree sets everything into motion to fulfill His purpose in our lives, displacing every no that once stood in our way. The alignment of our circumstances follows, bringing forth provision, healing, deliverance, and breakthrough. Romans 8:28 reminds us, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." The yes from God transforms situations, ensuring that every other voice and resistance must bow down and retreat.
God created the heavens and the earth and everything within them by His words. The same God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness is the one who speaks into our lives today. His yes carries the same creative power, capable of transforming chaos into order, darkness into light, and despair into hope. No situation is too far gone for God. Just as the dry bones in Ezekiel's vision came to life at the prophetic word of God, so can our dead situations, our hopeless circumstances, and our deferred dreams come to life at His yes (Ezekiel 37:4-10).
A single yes from God can change your story profoundly. Whether it's healing, provision, or deliverance, God's affirmative word carries creative power capable of transforming chaos into order and despair into hope. Your situation is never too far gone for God’s intervention. Embrace Christ and His yes today, trust in His divine plan, and witness as He transforms your life, turning mourning into dancing, sorrow into joy, and lack into abundance for His glory. As 2 Corinthians 1:20 declares, “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. |
Christianity Etc › Re: You Will Rise Again by ivbarue(m): 1:44pm On Jun 10, 2024 |
I always enjoy your messages. Keep up the good work. Apstlat: Your current failure and disappointment are not the end of you. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 24:16 that "the righteous may fall seven times but still get up." Even though you have fallen seven times, you still have seven rises left in you.
Consider Job, who fell into severe trials, yet he rose, and his latter days were blessed more than his beginning (Job 42:12). Joseph fell to the extent of becoming a prisoner and a slave, but he rose to become the second most powerful man in Egypt (Genesis 41:41-43). Lazarus died and was in the tomb for four days, yet Jesus raised him from the dead (John 11:43-44).
If there is still redemption for dead Lazarus, you who are still alive have no reason not to rise. Ecclesiastes 9:4 reminds us, "Anyone who is among the living has hope—even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!"
I know you have been on the ground for too long, right where you fell, with no one to help you up. The good news for you today is that Christ is extending His hand to help you up, as He promises in Isaiah 41:10: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Give Him your hand today by accepting Jesus Christ into your life. He has been standing beside you with His hand outstretched. Just give Him your hand, and He will lift you up.

Apstlat: Even in the midst of challenges and uncertainties, know this: My God is not done with you. Regardless of your past, present struggles, or doubts, rest assured that God has a divine purpose for each of you, and His work in your life continues.
Drawing from the Scriptures, we find inspiring examples of God's ongoing work in the lives of His people. Just as Moses, at 80 years old, was called to lead the Israelites, and despite David's grave mistakes, God still used him mightily. We see that age or failures do not limit God's plans for us.
Consider Peter, who denied Jesus but was restored and became a pillar of the early church. Likewise, no matter how many times we falter, God's grace is always available to restore and use us for His purpose.
Trust in God's timing, embrace His grace, and stay faithful in the journey. Despite life's challenges, remember that with God, victory is assured. Disregard the noise of doubt and listen to God's reassuring voice: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
As you continue to push forward in life, cling to the truth that God is continually at work in your life. Let His promise that He who began a good work in you will see it through to completion empower you to live boldly, love deeply, and serve faithfully. May the peace of God guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. This is what I need to hear at this moment in my life. Thank you. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Following Christ: A Relationship, Not Just Rules And Beliefs by ivbarue(m): 8:01pm On Jul 20, 2023*. Modified: 7:09pm On Jun 07, 2024 |
Very insightful! This captures the true essence of Christianity. [quote author=Apstlat post=124540352]Have you ever thought about what it really means to follow Christ as a person, not just a set of rules or beliefs? When we follow Christ, we are committing ourselves to a relationship with a person who loves us more deeply than we can imagine.
Just like in any relationship, following Christ requires love, trust, and obedience. We must love him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love others as ourselves. We must trust that he has our best interests at heart, even when we don't understand his ways. And we must obey his commands, not out of obligation, but out of a desire to please the one we love.
When we follow Christ, we become part of his family, with all the joys and challenges that come with being in a family. We share in each other's joys and sorrows, and we support each other in times of need. We learn from each other's experiences and encourage each other to grow in our faith.
Following Christ also means admitting our mistakes and weaknesses, and relying on his grace and forgiveness. We don't have to pretend to have it all together or be perfect, because we know that Christ loves us just as we are and is working in us to make us more like him.
So, following Christ is not just about a set of rules or beliefs, but about a relationship with a person who loves us unconditionally. It's about loving, trusting, and obeying him, and being part of a community of believers who support and encourage each other on the journey of faith. |
