opamoses1:pls how does protest affect buying and selling, is it a strike. look at them shamlessly parading themselves after recieving money. whether the protest holds or not more suffering is on the way. |
this is simple. Nigerians are going through alot of pains due Tinubus hasty policies particulary the floating of Naira and fuel subsidy removal. how has the state Governors contributed to this suffering? |
Who get mind enter transformer go Thief something even know Which one get that kind value. I dey suspect the NEPA guys, hold them. |
lastmessenger:that's the thing. I'm watching to see how Tinubu is going to play his game |
saddler:Buhari had a very smart VP with charisma that influenced some key initiatives that kept Nigerians hopefull. Tinubu and his VP are both dull uncompassionate and clueless. Petrol price was fair and prices of food but most Nigerians are now hungry and angry and most states the APC won in the north and north central was due to influence of the governor on the people of the state they believed with the president the governor would do better but everyone has realised the hardship is due to the policies of Tinubu and not the state government. And believe even the southwest won't give Tinubu so much votes this time around so the game I see him playing to win is rigging big. |
Some persons who supported the current government are ashamed why some who were against it seem happy but pained. Someone even said one region will suffer most while the other is equipped to face whatever. When you are been beaten and you don't cry it appears you are enjoying it. If we don't stop the blame game these wicked people in government will always the people as jokers |
Heard mad people are irritable in the morning, I'll not say much |
Ever8090:But I no call person tribe here fah, bigotful Persons like you are quick to call someone a tribalist ones the person doesn't allign with you. It's good you know they are more tribalist like me who voted Tinubu to satisfy my tribalism that means thesame thing will play out in the next election, Oya rest |
Ever8090:I don't care what you are neither do I care what you think of me. I have heard so many Obedients make that careless statement 'Tinubu must rule us' what is the aim? Spite on those who voted Tinubu? As if you're living in a different Nigeria. He's ruling us already and as they predict he might rule us even longer so make we all chill nau. |
Cry cry baby if e dey sweet you enjoy quietly no loud am. You people said the election was rigged, do you now believe that he was really taught a lesson through the ballot? Bullying, that's all you people do. You tried bullying people into accepting Obi it didn't work. Tbh he may be taught that bitter lesson again in 2027 and you will be the one to come here and cry again. |
Things are more expensive than you've assumed. If 80 can serve a single person what happens to family of three to four? |
A government that hastened to implement subsidy removal on their first day in office but can't offer a reasonable minimum wage for more than a year is what you are defending? Lets be honest 400k is high but what can 60 do for a family? Government is supposed to create solutions to problems not create a problem that it cannot provide the solution. Did Nigerians ask the Federal Government to removed subsidy? I no longer take labour union serious and I won't be surprised if they cancel this strike before Monday. |
If it's not called off before Monday without demands been met |

SocialJustice:you no remember when you call me daft Abi? Social injustice ![]() |
SocialJustice:you're a thief and big fool that's why you see an act of thievery as normal |
SocialJustice:why are you supporting nonsense? Are you okay? What is wrong in asking for a refund for a service the company did not render? I now understand why it's very difficult to earn trust as a Nigerian. I advice everyone to be very careful entrusting their money with Nigerian businesses most of them are thieves. Please op escalate this issue till it gets the desired attention. |
When I remember when some youths threw sachet water at Goodluck Jonathan I shake my head for Nigerians. We are becoming too tolerable and these politicians have no regards for us. I expected massive protests in the country to show the level of grievances Nigerians are going through but because of so much disunity not one has been held, some people even decided not to join the protest as away of protesting their displeasure in the outcome of 2023 elections and we think we are going change anything in 2027. When Goodluck Jonathan announced the removal of fuel subsidy Labour union shutdown the whole country. Why can't labour go on strike now even for a day? It's surprising that some people are against labour going on strike saying people will go through hardship as if we are having it any different. This government will never take Nigerians serious because we are not even serious with ourselves. |
This is really sad, I remember when a bag of dried cassava sold for 3000, its now 40,000 or even more. But farmers can not bring down the cost of their produce because the cost of labour have tripled, herbicides and fertilizers are also sold three or four times it's cost as of last year. These farmers, some farming is their only sources of earning knows how much transportation now costs, they inquire the cost of building materials if they want to carry a building project, how electronics now cost in the market and any other project thet intend to do and they sell their produce such that they'll be able to afford those things. In prices of other things in the market don't come down, the prices of food will not. |
In May 2023, fuel subsidy was removed, much to the dismay of many Nigerians. A lot of people frowned upon the hasty decision of the president to remove fuel subsidy, seeing that the removal of subsidy would bring hardship to Nigerians, but the president went further to defend his decision. Everyone can attest to the fact that the fuel subsidy removal has done no good to the average Nigerian but has brought immense hardship. Prices of commodities keep going up, and we can agree that the labour unions demand of N500,000 minimum wage, which is not ridiculous, but if we are honest with ourselves, we know the government will not even pay N200,000. Even if the government gives in to their demand, what is the fate of those who are not government workers, pensioners, or students who don't even earn? How have the measures put in place to cushion the effect of subsidy removal worked out? Only government workers benefited from the palliative inconsistently; I don't know anyone who received the conditional cash transfers to households. If the government is not been insensitive to the plight of Nigerians, it's high time it reversed to subsidy payments on fuel. |
yarimo:this is an insult to Suswan ![]() |
The US is fully in support of this invasion. They'd speak in the media how they don't support Israel's action but will whisper to them in private to intensify their attacks. Wonder why each time US secretary visit Netanyahu, Israel carry out more attacks. Won't buy the US deceit they're together in every move Israel takes. |
The guy is a loyal fan and won't trade it, btw the guy that treked for him, what did he do for him? |
When I saw the caption I thought I was going to read one of the stories about how house owners maltreate tenants but I think this not really the case. First the land lady was not directly involved but an agent, and the house bill was accumulated by a previous tenant not the land lady. You also said you heard the land lady have abandoned the house and tenants do not pay. I think it's the agent that tricked your friend in to this mess. They may have to find an alternative to the light issue and manage till they sort out another accommodation cause at this point it's difficult to get the land lady to clear that bill. |
I agree with the IGP. The functions the NSCDC perform are the same functions performed by the military and police, Do we really need FRSC? We have traffic police. The police is not overwhelmed they only lack manpower there's clearly duplication of duties in these agencies and a merger will solve these. Too many uniforms every where and show of power, I'm waiting to see FRSC khaki, that's if they don't have one already. |

This will take off the pressure abit from the people of Palestine. A bloody retalion is highly anticipated from the people of God |
I believe it's the complete opposite of democracy, when the fate of other contestants with potentials are marred and this is where the problem starts, when political parties sell their tickets to the highest bidders. |
