everyone is watching and what candidates are saying and would say before February next year will either change alot of minds for or against them. Just saw online that quit notice should only be given after the expiration of your house rent. Meaning that our quit notice should start counting after June 2023

from what I know for a one year tenancy your are given 6 months to quit and can be given when your tenancy is still running this means as regards your case the notice is counting already.

The landloard already showed he didn't want your family in his property anymore your dad wouldn't have renewed his tenancy. I'll advise your family start looking for another property now and leave as the notice states. No need for all the unnecessary stress and trouble.
