Prayers For Healing Loneliness

I come to You Heavenly Father, in a time of great loneliness and pain, and pray for Your healing touch upon my life and the sufficient grace to face each day.
 
I ask for Your comfort and peace, especially during those moments of intense loneliness when I feel so incredibly alone and helpless. I long for just one person to show a little love and care, and yet the people that I know are too busy with their own lives to notice the intense pain that I am going through. Help me not to be bitter by their lack of love, but rather use it I pray, to mould me into the person that I know You want me to be.
 
Thank You, Lord, that no matter who forsakes me or displays disinterest in my life, that You are a faithful and ever-present friend, Who has promised never to leave me nor forsake me, and that no matter what difficulties or problems I may face, You are always there to love and to care, and to support with Your sufficient grace.
 
Touch the hearts of all those who like me, are facing loneliness. Comfort all our hearts. Give us the joy of Your salvation and help us all to look to Jesus during those times of loneliness. And I pray that You would help us to grow in grace, so that we may be enabled to show comfort and succour to others who are facing times of great loneliness and pain. This I ask in Jesus' name,

Prayer Of Provision For All God’s Children

Spirit of the living God, refresh and sustain me with Your goodness, so that I may be a vessel that is fit to do Your bidding. Break me of my self-will and mould me into the person that You desire me to be, that I may be a witness to Your grace and speak boldly of Your great salvation. Help me to be ready always to give an answer for the hope that I have in Christ Jesus, my Lord. In His name I pray,

Prayer For A Spiritual Walk And Fruitful Life

Heavenly Father, You are the Potter and I am the clay. Christ is the true Vine and I am a simple branch that seeks to abide in my Saviour.  I pray that as I rest in Him day by day, so Your Holy Spirit would carry out a good work in me, so that I may bear much fruit to Your honour and glory.
 
May I abide daily in Christ and remain in Him and He in me, so that the Holy Spirit may perform unhindered, the necessary transforming work within my heart, so that I may bring forth acceptable fruit at the proper time.
 
May I be willing to learn the lessons of life that You would teach me and be ready to accept that Your pruning knife and corrective rod is the means to perfect who I am in Christ, and make me more like Him.
 
I pray that I may be a fruitful branch that bears much good fruit to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name,

Prayer For Fruitful Life

Heavenly Father, it is my desire to live a fruitful life in Christ. Keep me from walking in the counsel of ungodly men and women. May I keep away from the path of sinners and not be influenced by those that scorn the truth of God’s Word. Rather, may I delight in Your Word and meditate on its truths day and night.
 
May I develop a fruit-filled life, looking to Jesus day by day. May I depend on His sufficient grace, trust His Word moment by moment, and maintain my hope in Him alone, Who is the author and finisher of my faith, and Whom to know is life eternal. In His precious name I pray,

To Discern God’s Plan For My Life

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that You have a plan for each of Your children, for You scheduled each day of our lives before we were even conceived in our mother’s womb. Help me, Lord, to discern that plan, the best plan that You have chosen for me, for I desire to be in the centre of Your will and not follow the empty desire of my heart.

Thank You that You know the end from the beginning, but thank You that You have also given each of us a free will to choose the good and to reject the evil. Help me I pray, to choose to do what is righteous in Your sight, to go where You are calling me and to say those things that honour your name. Give me the discernment to make the choices in my life that are best for me. In Jesus' name,

Heavenly Father, You alone are worthy of all worship and praise and I ask that the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart may be honoring and pleasing to You throughout this day, for You are a great and a faithful God.

Thank You that in Christ, I can come before Your throne of grace wherever I am and no matter what time it is, for in Him I can offer my prayers and supplications to You. What a blessing to know that Christ laid down His life for me, so that in Him I can lay my life before You, in holiness and righteousness all my days.

Lord, I want to be the person You would have me be and I thank You that Your faithfulness is new every morning. As I step out into this new day I ask that I am enabled through Christ to live out the events of my day, in a way that is acceptable to You.

Thank You for the many faithful and true promises that You have given to me and to each of Your children. Guide me into all truth today, and may I walk in the way of righteousness to Your praise and glory. In Jesus name I pray,

Lord, I thank You that there is nothing that happens to me or to my loved ones that You do not know about, and that no matter what takes place in our lives, You are with us all of the time.

Lord, I know that this world is not our home and that You have prepared a place in glory for all who have trusted Jesus Christ as Saviour. Thank You that however hard or difficult this life becomes and whatever befalls us, we know that what we endure through the trials of life, and the blackness and pain we may feel along the way will one day be lifted forever, when You come to take us to be with Yourself, when we will be with You in Your glorious heavenly home, for evermore.

Thank You, that the weeping of the night that we are going through during our sojourn on earth, really will end in the most joyous morning, which You have promised to all who have trusted You. I praise Your name that You have kept all our tears in a bottle for You know our sadness, and have promised to wipe away all the tears and pain that we have endured.

Lord, I do thank You that You have promised that Your grace is sufficient for all the hard times and trials that we may meet in this world. Praise Your holy name. Thank You that You have promised the sufficiency of your wonderful grace to support us through this wilderness walk on earth. In Jesus' name I pray,

Heavenly Father, please look down with compassion on my friend who has been confined to a bed of sickness and is in such great physical pain. Send comfort and healing I pray, and in Your gracious kindness, please strengthen and heal whatever the problem is that has caused this illness in their body. In Jesus name I pray,

Heavenly Father, we live in a fallen world and are surrounded with so many men and women as well as boys and girls, who have suffered emotional damage or are going through emotional abuse, and I just want to take a few moments to lift up all those that are experiencing this type of trauma, and pray for Your healing touch on their lives.
 
Lord, You know every one who is in need of emotional healing and the hurt and pain that they are going through, and I ask You to meet each one at their own point of need. May they find their strength, support, comfort and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.
 
Refresh those that are weary, strengthen those that are weak, help the afflicted, deliver the needy, comfort the sorrowing, heal those that are hurting and draw very close to all who are in need of emotional healing. This I pray in Jesus' name,

Heavenly Father, my hope is You alone, for You have promised to draw close to those that are broken-hearted, distressed and abused. Father, You know the on-going and increasing emotional abuse that I am receiving at the hand of my spouse.
 
Lord, I know that this is not Your will for my life, and I come to You for strength and courage, for I have no-one to turn to for help but You. Protect me I pray. Protect us all from this escalating violence and help me to know what to do
 
Give me wisdom and courage I pray, and place a hedge of protection around us all. And Father God, I ask that Your Holy Spirit would do a mighty convicting work in heart of my spouse, for it is not Your will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. Loving God, I have been going through some painful memories which I just can’t seem to get rid of, no matter how hard I try. They keep on returning to haunt me, and I thought that Jesus would just take away all the hurt within. Please help me God

I know I am a sinner and I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for my sins to pay the price that I ought to pay, so why do I still feel so bad? Why do I still feel so full of guilt and bitterness, anger hatred and resentment?

Help me Lord, to forgive all those that hurt and betrayed me. Heal me I pray, of all the negative emotions that well-up inside of me. Enable me to stop thinking about the painful memories of the past and concentrate on all the beautiful things that Jesus has done for me, and the wonderful things that He has prepared for me in heaven – and to start to enjoy them this moment on.

When painful memories arise in my heart, help me to stop thinking about them and to fix my mind on all that Jesus did for me. Help me to be more like Jesus. Help me Lord, to forgive those that have hurt me and not to build up resentments. Take away the bitter feelings of anger and betrayal inside, and show me how I can best live my life. Teach me how to love others in the same way that Jesus loved me and gave His life for me, so that I can change my thinking and concentrate on the lovely things in my life, the good relationships I have and all the happy memories too.

Thank You, Father, that You are faithful to equip all those whom You call into Your service, so that they may carry out and complete the work that You have prepared for them to do. Lord, You know my own limitations and inabilities and I pray that in the power of the Holy Spirit, You would furnish me with the necessary skill and graces to fulfil all that You would have me do.

Thank You, Father, that You are the same yesterday, today and forever and just as You went ahead of so many of Your saints of old and furnished them with the abilities and capacity to fulfil the tasks that they were given, so too I pray that You will graciously carry out Your good purpose in my life. And Father, just as You promised to be with both Moses and Isaiah in the work that each was called to do, so I trust You to strengthen and support me in all that You have set before me. Lord, at this festive holiday time, we pray that You would be with us in all that we do and all that we plan. And today, we particularly want to ask You to bless the holiday party that we are organising, and all the guests that we have invited to share in this special time of celebration.
 
We ask that You would undertake for all the preparations and plans that we are making for the food and entertainment, and we ask that You would be pleased to bless this little gathering of friends and family who will be joining together for this special holiday party.
 
Give travelling mercies we pray, for those that are coming from a distance, and we ask that You would grant the warmth of Your love to shine in to the hearts and lives of all that attend.
 
Grace us we pray with You presence at our holiday function, and may the sunshine of Your love shine into the hearts of all who are coming. May this party be a time when we honour Your name in our actions, attitudes and behaviours. Prevent any discord we pray, and may we be united together in love and fellowship to Your praise and glory. Heavenly Father, You know what the doctor has said and I feel quite stressed-out about my health, and come to ask You to heal me speedily, I pray.  
Lord, I have knowing for some time that my health is not good, but I feel quite shocked and worried, and I pray that in Your grace You would touch my life and my body and give me the healing that I need.
 
I pray that You would also calm my mind and give me peace in my heart. I know that my times are in Your hands, but it is quite daunting to know that my health is so poor.
 
Show me what I can do to help my health to recover speedily, and in Your grace I ask You to heal me Lord. In Jesus' name I pray,

Loving Father, I just want to thank You for the wonderful way that You have kept me in such good health for so many years, and protected me from so many troublesome diseases.

You have lifted me up when I have been down, supported me through times of weakness, and You have also healed me when I have succumbed to a bed of sickness.

Keep me, I pray, in good health and strength. Let me run and not grow weary, and may I be used as a comfort and support to those that are not so fortunate as I. In Jesus' name,

Eternal Father, You created us in Your own image and likeness, but sin has warped the minds of men, and throughout the world there is much injustice and much carelessness of the rights of other people and personal responsibility.

Lord, when You are excluded from the hearts and consciences of men, the inevitable result is that people suffer and Lord, there is much injustice and corruption taking place in our world today, not only in the lives of individuals but also in the corridors of power and the council rooms of many nations.

We pray Lord, that You will right all the wrongs that are taking place in our world and vindicate those that are being treated unjustly. Keep us Father, from trying to take matters into our own hands for vengeance is Your and You will repay. But Lord, in Your grace and mercy, we pray that you would give justice and peace to all those that have been cruelly and unfairly treated by their fellow man, and may the injustice and carelessness that they have had to endure be the means to draw them into Your saving arms of grace. We ask this in the precious name of the Lord Jesus,

Loving Heavenly Father, thank You that I am Your child. Thank You, that You sent the Lord Jesus into the world to be my Saviour and thank You that by His death He has brought me into Your family.

Father, I know that in Your Word tells us not to worry about anything, but rather to cast all of our burdens upon You, and Father, I truly want to do this, but at times I find it so difficult to put this into practice. Lord, at times the circumstances that I am facing are very hard to bear and too often I find myself in an attitude of worry and anxiety.

Help me to develop a peace of mind that only comes from casting all my burdens upon You. Help me I pray, to take my eyes off the circumstances of life that seem so burdensome to me and to learn how to keep my eye fixed upon Jesus, for I know that this is what You have instructed us to do, and only in this way can we enjoy the perfect peace that comes from You.

Lord, You have promised to keep all those in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You. Help me I pray, to keep the eyes of my heart firmly trained on Jesus every moment of the day and flood my life with Your perfect peace of mind that passes our human understanding. In Jesus' name I pray,

Dear Heavenly Father, I am so sad that the loving relationship I used to have with my children has deteriorated so much over the last few years. They seem to deliberately ignore all I say, and I have no-one to turn other than to You. Lord, I ask that You would change their hearts. I love each of my children and feel that I must have done something very wrong in their upbringing, nevertheless You promised that if we bring up our children in the way they should go, when they are old they will not depart from it.

Lord, this is a promise that I want to claim for my children. I honestly don’t know how they have become so unruly, or how they could ever be returned to a right family relationship, but I ask Your forgiveness if I have contributed in any way to their rudeness, or if their poor behaviours have resulted from my poor parenting skills.

I know that Your promise stands and I pray that in Your grace and in Your time, and in Your Own special way, You would draw them back into Your arms of love. Change them Lord into people that love You with all their hearts. Change me too Lord I pray, and draw us all back into Your gracious and forgiving arms of love. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus,

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You, that You are the One Who heals the broken hearted and sets the captives free. Thank You, that You are the one that knows every intimate detail about our lives, and Who sticks closer than a brother. Thank You, Lord, that You have promised never to leave us nor forsake us but desire to give all your children the peace that passes understanding, as we look to Jesus and secure our hearts upon Him.

Thank You also, that You were the one that instituted marriage and ordained that a man should leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and that she in turn would honour and submit to her own husband under biblical principles. Lord, I confess that our marriage has become stale and the spark of love between us has become dim over time, so that we have become cool towards each other and careless towards You. Forgive us for allowing ourselves to slowly slide into this state of lukewarm love for each other and indifference towards You.

And so I ask for healing in our marriage and a revival of the love that we once had for each other. Help us together to seek You, and to once again build up our relationship into a happy, harmonious unity where Jesus is returned to His rightful position in our lives. Father, I confess that because we have become careless in our relationship with You, our relationship with each other also suffered. Renew a right spirit within us both, and may we seek first the Lord Jesus and His righteousness, knowing that a marriage that is grounded in Him is the only way for a relationship to truly be blessed. We ask this in Jesus' name,

Dear Heavenly Father, my heart is sad, and at times I feel quite broken due to our fractured relationship. Lord, it seems that the pressures of life and living have taken a heavy toll on my girlfriend and me, causing this shattering breakdown in our relationship, and an almost immovable rift seems to have been erected between us.

Lord, I pray that in Your love and grace, You would restore to us a closeness with each other, in the bond of unity that You so delight in. Draw us back together I pray, and heal all our hurts we both are going through.

Lord, bring us back together again, I pray, but if it is not to be, may we both move on in our lives and may You become our strong rock and high tower. Support us through this very difficult period of our lives I pray. Thank You, that You care deeply for us both, and into Your hands I give my fractured relationship, praying Your will be done. Heavenly Father, I bring before you this increasingly difficult relationship that I am in and pray that by Your grace, I may be willing to learn the lessons that You would teach me through this problematic time. Lord, I know that relationships are not always easy, but we seem to have slid into a constant cycle of hostility and accusations. Forgive me for the part I have played in developing this bitterness and ill-feeling between us, and I pray that You would help me repent of this wrong attitude, and turn right away from my own natural, fleshly reactions and start to walk in spirit and truth. Lord, I know that I cannot do this in my own strength but only in the power of the Holy Spirit. And so Lord, I pray that I may be willing to listen to Your promptings and to submit to Your training and chastening hand on my life.

Help me each day to lay my life before You and to search my own heart, so that I may identify any seeds of my own bitterness and hostility – and I pray that I may be honest in my assessment of my own faults and failings. Teach me Your way and endow me with wisdom, grace and counsel, so that the damage to our relationship may be repaired by Your grace. Help me to live my life as the person that You would have me be, and in a manner that is pleasing in Your sight.

Guard my heart and all that proceeds from my lips, and may my words be seasoned with salt and pleasing to the Father. Thank You, Lord, that You are a God Who hears and answers the prayers of Your children, and I pray that you would graciously renew a right spirit, within this relationship. In Jesus' name I pray,

Oh God, I come to You saddened in soul and with a heart that is breaking. You brought a special person into my life, for which I thank You Lord, and we were so happy together for a time. But for many reasons, including my jealous nature, things have gone sour between us and we have moved apart.

Lord, I confess to You that I acted in a way that was not appropriate and did not permit trust between us to develop and to grow as it should. Look down on us in pity I pray, and I ask that You would open up an opportunity for us to be properly reconciled so that we may build up our relationship together.

Lord, I know that so often when we make foolish mistakes, we have to take the responsibility for the outcome, which is not always the way that we would hope. But I do pray that our relationship is not finished, and that in Your grace You would restore again the joy of being together and the special love we had for each other.

Change Me Lord, remove this jealous streak that has caused me so many problems in my life, for I know that this is not from You Lord. Make me more like the Lord Jesus, not only in my actions but in my attitudes and emotions. May Your will be done in our lives and even if we do not get back together Lord, I pray that we may be reconciled, so that we may separate graciously and not in the current animosity. I ask this in Jesus' name,

Dear Lord, it is to You that I always come when things are difficult of when unexpected sickness strikes. Forgive me for the many times when I have ignored You or tried to do things in my own strength, I know that my strength and help comes from the Lord alone and I ask Your forgiveness for my careless attitude towards You in the past.

Thank You, that You are always faithful, even when I prove unfaithful to You, and so I come to You with this unexpected sickness and ask Lord, that You would touch me and make me whole again. Restore my health to me I pray, and take away this unexpected illness. Lord, I do not feel well and I really don’t know what to do and so I am looking to You for help and strength, and Lord, I pray for a speedy recovery.

Restore my health I pray, and may this realisation of my neglect be a catalyst to turn the eyes of my heart, the actions of my life and the motives of my mind back to Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith. May this unexpected sickness bring me back to the cross so that my fellowship with the Father may be properly restored. I have not loved You as I ought Lord, and have been living my life in rather a selfish way, but I pray that You would look graciously on me and use this as a reminder to keep my eyes firmly looking to Jesus, from this day forward and not to seek to live my life independently of You. I ask this in Jesus' name,

Precious Lord Jesus, I thank You that You are my Saviour and that You have redeemed me from the kingdom of darkness into Your glorious kingdom of Light. Lord, I know that Your Word tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength and that a joyful heart is a good and healing medicine. Lord, I pray that in Your strength, I may maintain a heart that is brimming with Your joy and one that rejoices in the God of my Salvation day by day, knowing that a broken spirit ‘dries up the bones’.

Lord, I know that You are a miracle working God, and that the greatest miracle of all that You have wrought in me, is my great salvation in Jesus Christ, Who died for me so that I might be forgiven of my sins and have everlasting life, but I also ask that You send Your mighty healing power into my body, during the time of illness that I am currently going through.

Father I pray that You would touch every organ and ligament of my body, every joint and cell and restore me to full health and strength, but I also pray that during my sickness You would touch my heart and fill it with Your love, Your grace and Your joy, for in You is the fullness of joy. Lord, You alone can flood a sick body with healing and You alone can overflow a heart with joy and peace, and so I rest my soul in You, and thank You for all the healing of body and soul that I know You are working within me. In Jesus' name I pray,

Dear Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You for Your never-failing love towards me. Even when I was lost in sin and without hope in the world, You looked down and gently called me to be Your child, even though I was rebellious and restless.

Lord, You know that partly due to not caring for myself and partly for no other reason that we live in a fallen world, I am suffering a debilitating sickness. I ask that You would graciously look down on me and pick me up again and heal me in body as well as in spirit, as You did once before.

Thank You for dying for me to pay the price for my sins, and thank You that You were wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities and that by Your stripes I am healed. Lord, I know that this body of mine is only going to deteriorate more and more as I get older, but I do pray that in Your grace and mercy, You would set me free from the unpleasant sickness and pain that I am going through at the moment, and give me relief and healing.

Lord, I do pray that You would set me free from this debilitating sickness that I am going through. Nevertheless, I also thank You that in all things Your grace is sufficient for You have proved this to be the case time and time again in the past. Thank You, that You are a faithful God in all things and I ask that my life, in sickness and in health, is a life that glorifies You.

Keep me I pray from grumbling, when I have received such an overabundance of Your mercies, which are new every morning. I know that my life here is but for a fleeting moment in the economy of eternity, and I know that You have given me eternal life, for which I praise and thank You. In Jesus' name,

Dear God, I know a number of people I care about who are suffering with cancer and I am frightened about getting cancer myself. I am coming to You to ask that You keep me from getting any type of cancer in my body.

Please take this fear of cancer away I pray. I want to trust You, and I ask that You would heal those that do have cancer and help them to overcome this horrid disease and to put their faith in You. I ask this in Jesus' name,

Dear Heavenly Father, for most of my life I have tried to earn Your love and gain Your approval and whatever I tried to do, never made me feel that I had done enough. In fact, the more I tried to get You to love me, the more I found that I failed You miserably.

And as I look back on the mission trips, ministry activities, times of prayer and the many bible studies I attended, the more I believed that I must be disappointing to You, because I was not doing as much as I ought to do. Father, as I look back at this period of my life, is saddens me to realise what an incorrect perception I had of You and Your unconditional love to all Who are saved by grace, through faith in Christ Jesus.

Father, forgive me for misrepresenting Your Father-heart of love, and thank You for showing me that Your love for me is not dependent on what I can do for You but rests entirely on what the Lord Jesus did for me, on the cross. Thank You, that Your approval does not rely on me at all but simply rests on the fact that I believed on the Lord Jesus as my Saviour, and that I am accepted by You because of Him. Accepted in the Beloved because I am a new creation in Christ, clothed in His righteousness and without condemnation. All because of Jesus.

Father, thank You for this liberating truth. May I never again be drawn into wrong thinking about Your Father-heart of love and may I gain greater confidence and understanding of what my position in Christ truly means. This I ask in the precious name of my Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for me that I might be free from any condemnation and receive Your unconditional and everlasting love. Praise His holy name.
