Oh Lord, each year as my birthday comes around again, it brings to the surface of my heart such painful memories for me. Lord Jesus, I thank You that You understand. Thank You that You care. Thank you that You are always with me and have promised never to leave me or forsake me, that You will be with me, no matter what sadnesses or difficulties arise in my life.

Heal my heart and give me beauty for ashes I pray. Help me not to focus on past pain, but rather look to the promise of Your blessed hope and the life everlasting that You have prepared for me in heaven.

Thank You for all the good times I have had in my life and help me Lord, to face this birthday anniversary without any bitterness, but rather may the sweetness of Your love surround me.

Fill me Lord, with Your comfort and peace. Use me Lord, to be a comfort to others who may have to experience some of the pain that I have gone through. I trust Lord, that in Your strength, I will be able to face the future with hope in my heart that only comes from You. In Jesus' name I pray,

Loving Lord and Heavenly Father, You alone are good and You alone richly provide for all the needs and the necessities of life, and in Your loving-kindness You give us over and above all that we ask or think. Thank You for Your steadfast love and gracious provision to us and to all Your creation.

Forgive us for the times when we have taken Your provision for granted and the times when we have failed to thank You and give You the honour and gratitude that You deserve. Thank You, that even though we have failed to acknowledge all that You give us day by day, You faithfully provide us richly all things to enjoy. But Lord, we come to You now, knowing that we are facing a drought in this region and we ask You to send abundant rain on the earth, which has become dry, thirsty and arid.

Look down in pity our plight we pray. It is not only the plants that are wilting, but even the animals and people in this place are parched and dry. Oh Lord, send us rain. Open the windows of heaven we pray with the sweet rainfall that we so desperately need, and water our land we pray, and we will give You all the praise and glory due to Your holy name,

Father, as the shadows of evening draw across the night sky, I thank You that I am part of Your heavenly family and that throughout the world there is always someone that is lifting up their hands and heart to praise and worship You.

Lord, tonight I give thanks for my brothers and sisters worldwide and lift each one up, praying that You will be all that each one needs. And Lord, as I settle down for the night and lift my hands and heart to You, I pray that You would give me and all Your children the rest and refreshment that we need in the hours of darkness so that we may be ready and prepared mentally and spiritually to face the rigours of the day.

Watch over those that are sleeping, renew those that are weary, refresh those that are tired, heal those that are sick, feed those that are hungry, pity those that are affected and protect those that are in danger. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour,

Loving Lord, thank You for bringing me safely through this days trials and tests. I pray that You would give me a good nights rest so that I may wake refreshed, strong to do Your bidding in the service into which I have been called.

Forgive me for the things that left undone and cleanse my heart from all foolish thoughts and lustful imaginations that can flood my mind when I am not actively depending upon You. Give me a steadfast heart towards You and keep me from the temptations that can overtake the minds of those that are far from home and in a hostile environment. Purify my thoughts I pray especially as I settle down for the night’s rest.

May the peace of God which passes understanding fill my heart and protect my mind through the hours of darkness. May I rest in You tonight and abide under Your protection throughout the hours of darkness, and I pray that You would ease away the weariness of body and soul and give me the sleep that is reserved for Your beloved children.

I pray Your protection and blessing on all those that I love at home. Keep them ever looking to You and bring us back together I pray, so that we may love and serve You together once again. In Jesus' name I pray,

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You were the One Who established the marriage union, where a man and woman join together in holy matrimony to become one. I pray for the marriage of this Christian couple on their wedding day, and pray that You would richly bless their union and life together.

I pray that the groom may love his wife as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her, and that his bride would similarly live in gracious submission to her husband, as is pleasing in Your sight.

I pray that You would remain the central focus of their lives, and that with Your help and guidance their marriage would become a union that is honouring to Your name. Fill their hearts with heavenly joy, and may the love of Jesus flow like a refreshing river from one to the other. In Jesus' name,

Heavenly Lord, I bring before You the men and women who have been called to serve our country in the armed forces, on land, sea and in the air, and who have spent much of their lives participating in the protection of our shores and land, from the enemy that would seek to do us harm. Thank You, for the selfless way that so many have been used to maintain our freedoms through their courageous acts, both at home and abroad.

Thank You for each one. Bless them abundantly, and I pray that You would be their strength and stay, and that You would graciously supply them with all they need to continue to serve our country in a retired capacity.

And Lord, for veterans and those in the armed forces that do not yet know You as their Saviour, I do pray that You would draw near to each one and make Yourself known, so that they may come to trust in Jesus as Saviour and come to be a soldier in the army of the King of kings and Lord of lords, in Whose name I pray,

Lord, I place today in Your hands and trust You to direct my day until I place my head back onto my pillow of sleep. I ask that whether in busyness or in quietude, Your will be done. Whether I am surrounded by crowds of people or remain in the solitude of my own company, I ask that You would be there to direct and govern. I pray that the words of my mouth and the meditations of my inner being, would be pleasing and acceptable to You throughout today, and may Your will be done in my life to Your honour and glory. Dear Lord, I lift up my hands and heart to You this morning as I start to prepare myself for another day at work. I ask You to lead and guide me in all I say and do, and by Your grace, may I bring glory to Your name throughout this day. Look down I pray, with grace and mercy on every one of my work colleagues as they travel to and from work and as we spend the day working alongside each other, in our various tasks and duties.

Lord, I bring each one of my colleagues to You this morning, thanking You for the life of each one and the part that they play in our work together. Thank You also, for those who have made a commitment to You as their Saviour and I pray that together, we may demonstrate the love of the Lord Jesus as we carry out our daily tasks together.

Lord, I particularly lift those of my work colleagues who have not yet accepted the Lord Jesus as their Saviour and plead Your pity and mercy over them. Lord, I know that it is not Your will that anyone should perish but that all come to a trusting faith in Jesus, and Lord, I am praying that Your will be done in each and every life. Convict every one of their need of salvation, Lord. Please give me wisdom to know when to say something about You and when to remain quiet. Bless this day and all with whom I share it, and may Your will be done in my life, from this day forward and for evermore. In Jesus' name I pray,

Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day and for the opportunities and challenges that will inevitably come my way. Lord, I pray that You would be with me in all I say and do, and help me to be a light shining in a dark place, where the Lord Jesus is seen in me.

Keep my mind alert and give me wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent. Guard the choices I make and may I rely on the gentle promptings of the Holy Spirit, for Lord I know that You know the best plan for my life and I trust You to carry it out to its completion.

I ask Your special blessing on each of my work colleagues, and if an opportunity arises to witness about the truth of Scripture, help me to be ready to speak, slow to anger and able to share the truth of the gospel of grace, willing and ready to give an answer for the faith I have in You. Heavenly Father, what a privilege it is to be able to place this day into Your capable and gracious hands. Thank You that Your love for me is new every morning and thank You that no matter what mistakes I made yesterday, You have promised never to fail me not to forsake me. Thank You that Your promises of faithfulness never fail, for they are all Yes and Amen in Jesus Christ.

Help me to keep the eyes of my heart fixed on Jesus today, and keep me walking in obedience to Your purpose for my life. May I always be alert to the truth that You are my ever present and indwelling help and support in times of trouble, as well my song in times of joy.

Help me to remember that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and keep me from grumblings and complaining today, but rather may I delight myself in You, so that you may use me in whatever way that seems fit to You.

May Your name be glorified today. May Your will be done in my life today and may I never forget the amazing sacrifice that You gave at Calvary's cross, when You gave Your life, as a ransom for me, and that because You died, I am able to live with You forever. Thank You for the privilege and of being Your child. I am not worthy so much as to gather the crumbs from under Your table and yet You have seated me together with Christ in heavenly places, simply because I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour. Father, we praise and bless You for every member of Your Church family throughout the world, and for the diverse ways that You graciously use each one to fulfil the particular role that You have purposed for them, in Your wider plans and purposes.

Thank you, that we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and Your own special possession. Thank You, that we are stones being built up into a glorious dwelling-place, a Temple fit for our God, so that we may proclaim Your praises with our lips and in our lives. You have brought us out of darkness into Your wonderful light and we praise and bless you for your grace and mercy towards us and all people.

What a privileged people we are and how we bless and thank You for making us one with each other, and in union with Christ Jesus our Lord. Stir up in our hearts a desire to be in unity one with the other, under the banner of Christ our Head. Sanctify us with Your truth and keep us ever looking to Jesus, Who alone is the Way to God, the only Sacrifice for our sins and the only Mediator between man and God, Whom to know is life eternal and in Whose name we pray,

Heavenly Father, how it must grieve Your Holy Spirit that we have caused such barriers and divisions to be established within the body of Christ and yet it was His prayer that we are one in unity of spirit, one in the bond of peace, one in fellowship and love towards all those that are called by Your name.

Forgive us of our unbiblical prejudices and un-Christian principles. Forgive me of my own biases and unloving attitude that I have towards other believers that do not conform completely to my own developed perspective of what a Christian should be. Forgive me for being too quick to criticise other brothers and sisters in Christ, and for being too ready to declare our differences and denounce them as unfit for fellowship, rather than seeking to discover our similarities in Christ, and rejoicing that our citizenship is in heaven.

Help me Lord, to love others as You have loved me.–To love without prejudice or bias. Help me to be ready and willing to love the unlovable and to consent to be loved by others I would likely dismiss.

Bind Your people together in love, in the unity of sprit and the bond of peace. Guide us all into all truth, knowing that You are no respecter of persons, and that all who trust in Your sacrifice at Calvary are forgiven sinners, citizens of heaven and accepted by the Father, in the Beloved. Heavenly Father, thank You for calling each of us to serve Your Kingdom through this wonderful church. Thank You for using our individual gifts and talents, to manifest Your Kingdom here on earth as it already is in heaven. Lord, we are thankful for the freedom to worship You, our God.

Thank You for Your bountiful blessings. Thank You for increasing Your presence, power, anointing, and abundance in our Church Family. You are great and greatly to be praised. You are to be feared above all gods. The earth is Yours and everything in it, the world and all its people belong to You. You laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths.

Lord, no pagan god is like You. None can do what You do. Loving Father, we declare that we will love You with all our hearts, souls, minds and strength. As a Church Family, we confess that we will love one another, as ourselves. As Your children, we proclaim that we have all put on Christ, like putting on new clothes and we will walk in unity and love with one another.

It is because of this love that we exhibit for each other that people will know that we are Your disciples. Your Word tells us that if we love You, we must also love our Christian brothers and sisters, too. Therefore, we declare that we will not look out only for our own interests, but we take an interest in each other’s needs. We declare that we will live in harmony with each other and resist division. We will be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

We declare that as a Church Family we will turn away from evil, and do good, we will search for peace and work to maintain it. We will encourage and build each other up. Above all things, we will put on love, which is the bond of perfection. In Jesus' name,

Dear Father God, we desire as a church to take hold of the vision You have for us and pray that You would lead and guide us to take a collective step of faith in the direction that You would have us go.
 
Help us we pray, to grasp the church vision that You have for us, and may we be sensitive to Your leading and guidance. Prevent us from seeking to implement our own inferior ideas, or substitute our own manmade notions for Your plans and purposes.
 
Draw us closer to each other and to You, as we seek Your face together in prayer. May we be strengthened in the inner man, united together in the unity of the faith and prompted to carry out Your plans and purposes to Your greater glory.
 
We pray that the church vision that emerges in our hearts, will have been prompted by the Holy Spirit, for the edification of the saints and to Your praise and glory. This we ask in Jesus' name

Loving Father, I thank You for our Church leaders that You have appointed

I pray that they would love Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that their ministry would never steal from them their first love, Jesus Christ. I pray that they would love and serve their wives and family with glad hearts, and that their family would have love for the ministry instead of resenting it for “stealing” their husband and daddy away.

I pray for a passion, for conviction and dedication to their calling and to Jesus Christ. I pray that they will walk in confidence while kneeling in humility as gentle shepherds who care for their sheep. I pray for encouragement in their faith and ministry, and against those who attack, slander, harm, or speak evil against them. I pray that their teaching and preaching will be accurate, true, bold, convicting, encouraging, anointed, and Christ-centred. I pray that God will guard them from burnout and depression. I pray that they will never fall prey to envy, jealousy, insecurity, or comparison. I pray for their holiness and purity, and against lust, affairs, love of money, and pride.

I pray for rest spiritually and physically, and that they know that it is not their ministry they are leading, but God’s. I pray that they will finish better than they started. I pray that they will take time to have fun, do things they enjoy, spend time with their wives and play with the kids, and get away often to find peace and solitude. I pray for God to raise up people around them to assist them, serve them, honour them, encourage them, pray for them, admonish them, and protect them.

I pray that ministry, teaching, preaching, and leading will never become a chore for them, but that it would always be a joy and blessing to serve the Lord and His people with kindness and gladness, and that they would enjoy every aspect of leading, whether easy or hard, for the glory of God.

Dear Heavenly Father, I give You heartfelt thanks for all those who trust in Jesus Christ as Saviour, and I want to pray for the youth groups within our churches, and for the young people and individual group members that participate in this important ministry.

Lord, I ask for their continuous and continuing spiritual growth, so that they may become strong in the faith. I pray that as they meet together they may be correctly and thoroughly discipled in the truth of Scripture, and be edified and encouraged as they fellowship together with other young people and members of the group.

I pray that they may united together in love and develop a desire to know the truth of the gospel of Your wonderful salvation, so that they may grow in grace and in a knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that they become mighty men and women of faith, who in turn may be used by You to forward Your plans and purposes.

Bless all youth group leaders and keep them looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith, in Whose name we pray,

Heavenly Father, I know that the Bible says that we do not wrestle against the powers from the earthly sphere, but against satanic forces in the heavenly and spiritual realms, against principalities, powers and other strong forces of evil, whose chief aim is to kill, steal, destroy and shipwreck the lives of all your children.

Lord, help me I pray, to resist the devil, knowing that the Holy Spirit Who is living within me is greater than all the combined forces in the satanic realm. Help me I pray, to utilise every piece of the heavenly armour day by day, and to clothe myself in Christ, knowing that in Him is my protection and my sufficiency to resist all the powers that are coming against me and those I love.

Identify in me any lusts or habits that have become a stronghold and which are adversely taking control of my life. Give me the grace to admit my faults and turn from everything and anything that in any way is dragging me into a slavery to sin. Break I pray all strongholds in my life, knowing that it is only by the cleansing blood of Christ, that I can gain victory over the world and the flesh and any strongholds that have enslaved me.

Lord, I surrender my life to You and pray that from this day forward, You would lead and guide me into all truth. Thank You that in You is freedom from slavery to sin and spiritual release from the power of sin, Satan and strongholds in my life. In Jesus' name I pray,

Heavenly Father I pray for Your strength and courage – I pray that I would be strong in the day of battle. I pray that You would give me the strength and courage that only comes from You and You alone. I pray that like Joshua I would be strong and very courageous and not be afraid to face the enemies of my soul, nor be dismayed by the spiritual armies that encompass me round about.

I pray that You would break any stronghold of fear or doubt, shame or unbelief that weakens my walk and witness and that makes me so vulnerable to the wiles of Satan. Help me I pray to resist the devil and to take every thought, that starts to drag me down, captive.. and to hand it to You – for You have not given us the spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, self-discipline and a sound mind.

Lord I am aware that there are many forms of opposition – many strongholds that can keep our souls enslaved and captive and which prevent us from being strong in the Lord and in His mighty power in this evil day – but I pray that by Your grace and in the power of the Holy Spirit I would be strong in the day of battle and abide in Christ, Who is my Shield and Buckler, My Defence and my Defender – and in Whose name I pray,

Heavenly Father, we thank You that in Christ the victory over Satan, sin and death was won at the cross, and yet we know that until Christ has put every enemy under His feet, we are still engaged in spiritual warfare against the enemy of our soul. Keep us ever mindful of this truth.

Lord, we know that the weapons of warfare are not physical weapons of the world, they are not carnal or fleshly weapons, but are mighty through God to the pulling down of spiritual strongholds. Lord, we pray that You would teach us how to demolish spiritual strongholds in our lives and in the lives of others, and to do this Your way and not to try to do so in our own foolish fleshly strength. Teach us to rely on You alone, we pray.

Help us to understand the strategies of Satan who seeks to minimise our effectiveness by causing us to doubt Your Word, Your abilities and Your character, and who even seeks to get us to question who we are in Christ. Lord, I pray that my trust in You does not waver, for it is in Your power alone that the strongholds of Satan will crumble.

Keep us ever alert and aware to the advantage he gains over us when we are not prepared for spiritual warfare. May we be clothed in Christ, constant in prayer and sensitive to the leading of Your Holy Spirit so that we may overcome the enemy, not by might, nor by power but by Your Spirit. We ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus,

Deliver me I pray, from my over-eating, which I confess can only be called “gluttony”. Lord, I know that this is a habit that I have allowed to develop in my life, which has almost become an obsession, and I pray that in Your grace You would enable me to break free from my eating compulsion and receive full and lasting deliverance.
 
Lord, I have used food as a comfort and as a prop when I have felt alone and miserable, and it is causing my weight to increase which makes me more miserable and causes me to want to eat more, and Lord, I am in a bad state, and am asking for Your help in this.
 
I pray that in Your love and grace, You would deliver me from this horrid cycle of comfort eating and help me to gain a healthy balance in what I eat, so that I eat food in order to live rather then live in order to eat food.
 
Help me I pray, to have the resolve to eat and drink wisely and in a manner that is honouring to You, for the Bible tells us that whether we eat or drink, we are to do everything to Your honour and glory. Help me to honour You in all I do and especially in my eating. This I ask in Jesus' name,

Dear Lord and Heavenly King, thank You that there are no boundaries in Your kingdom and that You ultimately rule over heaven and earth, despite the fact that wickedness and evil seeks to dominate the nations of the world as well the lives of individuals.

I pray that You would set up godly men and women in positions of leadership and power in our own nation and in all the nations who exercise authority in our world today.

Thank You for those leaders that are prepared to stand up for truth and righteousness. Give them boldness to challenge those who want to to remove the principles of freedom and tolerance and establish the flawed principles that come from human wisdom.

Lord, I pray that You would guide the leaders of many nations to repent of their sins and turn to the path of peace that only comes from You. Help them to understand that the only peace that will ever be established on earth will be under the rule of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, after Your wrath has been poured out on a Christ rejecting sinful world. Have mercy Lord. Have mercy on all the leaders of nations who do not know You. I pray that many will be saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in Whose name I pray.

Dear Lord, I thank You that You care for people like me who have gone so far astray from the way of truth. Thank You, that You have never given up on me despite my addiction to drugs. Thank You, that I can come to You to seek for deliverance and know that You will not turn me away. Thank You, that Your mercies are new every morning and thank You, that You are faithful and true to Your Word, even when we prove faithless.
 
Lord, I know that Your Word promises a way of deliverance to all who seek You and I believe that in Jesus is found healing and wholeness, salvation and security, deliverance and joy. And Lord, I ask for You to deliver me from these drugs and free me from being in bondage to this cursed addiction.
 
Help me I pray. Save me Lord and set me free from these drugs on which I have become so dependant. Give me the means to break loose from drugs and the ability to see it through to the end.  I know that on my own I will fail but Lord, I do believe that in Christ I can be set free. Help me Lord in Jesus' name,

Heavenly Father, I have wandered far away from You and become deeply embroiled in an extra-marital affair from which I want to break free.. so that I may get my life back on track. Deliver me I pray from this life of lies and deception.. Deliver me from the guilt and shame that is overwhelming me .. and I pray that in Your grace You would help me to flee every kind of sexual immorality, or of any impurity, or fleshly lust, from this day forward..

I have been weak-willed and careless in my Christian life and utterly foolish and selfish in my own marriage – and my adultery has adversely affected the lives of too many people – deliver me from the shame I feel, for I know that I am guilty on all counts.. and my sin is constantly on my mind -

Lord I confess my fault to You. I pray for Your forgiveness and repent of all my adulterous sins, but I need to ask forgiveness of my spouse.. and all the other people whom I have hurt due to this affair.. and I ask that in Your grace You would help me to do what is right. Oh Lord help and deliver me from the guilt and pain I feel and from the dark cloud of shame that is hanging over me like a shroud. Return to me the joy that I once knew in You.. and lead me in the way of righteousness – in His name sake,

Dear Heavenly Father, I call on you today as a blood-bought child of God asking for Your help and protection in this time of spiritual attack. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and that through His death and resurrection, sin, death and Satan are a once and forever defeated enemy and that in Christ Jesus my Lord, I have victory over all the powers of darkness that would seek to spiritually shipwreck my trust and faith.

Lord, as I stand before you, I know that I am united in Christ and that there is nothing that I should fear. I know that Satan has a hatred of all those that are called by Your name, and that he schemes and plots against those that are positioned in Christ. Deliver me I pray, from the dangers and evils with which the forces of evil would seek to ensnare me and keep me I pray from all forms of temptation, so that I do not give the devil a foot-hold in my life.

Thank You for the spiritual armour with which I can clothe myself daily and keep me alert to the devil's schemes. May I resist all his advances against me in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit. This I ask in the name of the Lord Jesus, Who died and rose again so that Satan's power over my life would be forever severed.

Lord, I know that that is a principle that is frequently seen in the Bible, that we “reap what we sow,” and I also know that some unscrupulous people have suggested that this can be used as an almost magical formula that anyone can apply to ‘prayer’ which I know to be very unbiblical.

Lord, I want to ask You to give me an understanding of how to sow biblically, so that in due time I may reap to Your glory, whether it is my money, my time, my talents, my gifts or simply myself. Lord, I want to make the best use of all that You have graciously given to me, not for selfish reasons but to glorify Your name, for all that I have comes from You and I am simply seeking to give back to You what You have generously given me. Lord, I simply desire to be a good steward and a faithful servant, with all that You have given me.

Lord, I don’t know how best to use what You have given me. I don’t know how to sow as You would have me to do. I know that I have made many mistakes in the past and so I come to You today to ask You to teach me Lord. Teach me how to number my days and make best use of all that have received from Your hand of blessing, including my money, my time, my talents, my gifts and myself.

Lord, into Your hands I give all I have and pray that in due time it will be profitable. In Jesus' name I pray,

Dear Lord Jesus, You said in Your Word that if anyone needed wisdom they were to ask You and You give it freely to all who ask. I come to You today to ask for wisdom, especially in my dealings with money and finances.

Lord, I do not have a lot of money or savings, but I have always had sufficient, for which I praise Your name. However, the price of all the necessities of life seem to be rising and I ask You to give me wisdom on how to spend my money wisely.

Lord, I know that however much or however little I have in my purse I can always spend it on something, and I think it was Proverbs that says that money is like a wild animal that needs to be tamed.

Give me wisdom, Lord, to use the money I have wisely, to be generous without being foolish, to be liberal without being imprudent, to give willingly when prompted by You without feeling obliged to give to everyone in need.

Dear God, You made man and woman to be united as one in marriage and to live together in love and unity. Father, due to work pressures my husband has had to work abroad, which means that we are apart for much of the time and this is not good for either of us. Lord, You brought us together and You meant us to stay together and to live together in the bond of marriage.

I pray that in Your grace, You would bring my husband back, so that he may work at a job close to home and not have to leave me and the children for months at a time. Lord, in Your own good time and in Your way, would You look with grace on the cry from my heart, I pray,

Heavenly Father, I do thank you for graciously providing this job for me so that I in turn can fend for my own family, but Lord, it means that I am having to work far away from my home, with long spells apart from family, and this is placing quite a strain on all of us.

Lord, it was You who instituted marriage and You were the one that ordained that a man and woman would live together and be united as one, but we are constantly separated and this is hard to bear. Please look on our situation and I ask that You would move me to a job closer to home, which will enable me to spend more time with the family and not to be apart for so long at a time.

Keep me patient as I wait Your good and perfect time and give me I pray, Your sufficient strength. Keep us ever looking to You as the rock upon which our life and family is founded. In Jesus' name I pray,

How you all spending the Christmas ?

Father, we bring the sale of our home to You, knowing that the failing economy, many foreclosures and a dearth in the housing market is causing the sale of our house to be very difficult.

But Father, we trust in You and place our home and our future lives into Your hands. Lord, we ask that You would bring the right people to purchase our home at the right time. We want to trust You in all things and pray that no matter what happens, we will keep our eyes fixed and focussed upon You.

Lord, You know our needs and the fears that surface at times and I ask that Your peace would flood our hearts as we rest in Your promises to be with us in all the difficulties of life, including this house sale.

Lord, into Your hands we place our home and our future. Help us to trust You in all things. In Jesus' name we pray.

Dear God, we are numb with grief because we felt that You had guided us to this home and yet now we are faced with foreclosure and we don’t know which way to turn. Lord, we want to trust You in all things and we are coming to You once more to pray Your grace over us and our home, and to ask that in Your mercy You would prevent this foreclosure. Lord we ask that You would keep us in our home, and provide for us in all things.

Lord, let our trust be in You and help us to cast all our troubles and fear upon You. You have provided for us in the past and we pray that You will continue to provide for us in the future.

Lord, we read about Habakkuk in the Bible who was faced with some terrible disasters, but despite all the dreadful problems he had to face, his faith remained firm and secure in You.

Keep us firm Lord and be our hope in time of trouble. Help us to trust in You no matter what happens. Help us Lord, to maintain our hope and trust in You. Thank You that You have promised to be our help and strength, our defence and defender, our provider and provision. Thank You, Lord. Into Your hands we commit our home and future and ask You to carry us on eagles wings. In Jesus' name,

Loving Lord, thank You for my home. I pray that it may be a place of peace and rest. May we close the door on every evil that would seek to enter unseen and disrupt its calm tranquillity, and may all that is spoken and done within its walls be pleasing in Your sight and honouring to Your name.

Keep all who live here from uttering careless words that can hurt or accuse, but rather may the angel of Your presence encamp within its walls and may Your wings of protection overshadow each one. Protect the hearts and minds of all who enter and leave here, and may no ungodly thoughts or selfish attitudes cross its threshold.

May the beauty of Your love stream through the hearts of all who enter its walls, so that our home is lit up with the love and grace that only comes from You, just as the golden sunshine streams in through the windows and dances around the room, giving light and warmth to all.

As we commune in fellowship together day-by-day, I pray that You will be present at our table as we eat, listen to our conversations, sit with us as we laugh and relax together, and remain with each one though the hours of darkness, so that we wake refreshed and ready to do your bidding.
