Guys hi,Pls does anyone have an idea if the faculty or department of ICS had been changed,cos while filling my jamb form,it wasn't in CIS,found it under(cant really rememba) Eng/Env(Something lyk dat).If u applied 4 ICS pls let me know the department/faculty u saw it.

Information and Communication Science alongside Computer Science,Library and Information Science, Mass Communication, Telecommunication Science are departments under the Faculty of Communication &
Information Sciences.

Take note Information and Communication Science is a department while Communication &
Information Sciences is a faculty they are just formed with same words.

I c no reason why u should panic i also applied 4mass com of which on d jamb registration slip it was indicated there dat the course/department is under the faculty of art which is contrary 2wat is on d school's website which states dat it is under CIS perhaps jamb has not updated records of newly formed faculties.

10k or 12k am one of them...so deal with dat

From a reliable source, Post ume commences July 20th and form would be on sale before then

And as far as i know of, d form is always on sale two weeks b4 exam so if we are 2accept ur conclusion d form will b released somtime btwn 6th and 10th of july...guy e too far o guys don get heart attack unto say dem dey anxious.

Pls would like to get info for my cousin, her utme score in just concluded jamb is 247 and she make unilorin her 1st choice for accounting but now she's thinking of opting for finance since she's from ondo state & that's not even a catchment area for unilorin admission, pls she needs my opinion but i can't gv any since i dn't really knw much abt unilorin admission,
pls should she stick wif accountin and gv it her best shot or just opt in for lesser competitive course like finance? Pls nid ur urgent reply, she's on my neck....thanks sirz & ma__

Firstly unilorin admission are in two ways.
Accounting as a course is competitive, most candidates who chose accounting last year were given finance (just like law to english) because d school quota for accounting is small relative to aspiring candidates. This is an advise, let him/her change to finance if there is stil grace to do that, cos unfortunately those who chose accounting last year were neither given accounting nor finance, n those who chose finance n met up wit d requirements were offered admission, LEFT OVER spaces in finance were given to accounting aspirant. It‘s better to be on a safer side. Above all pray to God and ve connectns, he/she is in, jamb n post/ume score has a little count on unilorin admission.

U knew hw competitv ur course is & u stil applied who knows u mait b given u accntin so its beta u dont change.

It was also stated dat All applying candidates should please, take note that if their first choice institution is UNILORIN and they did not make the above stated cut off mark, then, the next best plan, is to change your Institution to another school that you are qualified for.

cut off marks for University of Ilorin
Courses as follows: 220 UTME Cut off mark for Medicine
(Only one O’ level sitting) and Nursing
200 for Mass Communication, Common
Law, Pharmacy, Anatomy and Physiology.
190 Cut off mark for Computer Science,
English, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Geology and all Engineering courses
except Agric. and Biosystem Engineering.
180 for all other courses.

Unilorin Post Ume Form wil b out a week after which kwasu might av finished theirs and dats 4th week of june and exam exactly 3weeks after kwasu's last day of p.ume which wil b 2nd week of july so u guys need 2relax huh.
