Lekan2348: Your sister doesn’t need to do all of this. They won’t even attend to your request to update your itinerary. You’re literally going to call tls, they are not even with your documents and are not going to reach the embassy because (no offense) ‘Sharon’s’ intended travel date has passed, they handle hundreds of applications everyday. The only thing you can call them for is to withdraw your application and receive your passport back immediately in case of urgent travel elsewhere.
Just sit tight and wait. The fact that your travel date has passed doesn’t mean you’ll have a higher chance of denial. They will adjust the valid from date according to the date of approval.
Also, you are not meant to buy flight ticket. A dummy ticket booking is enough for you to present your case and secure your visa. I understand that my question is should the hotel reservation be extended or should the flight reservation be extended. |

Alapereketu: If a travel date passes, the visa is not automatically rejected; the consulate may issue it with a later start date or request updated travel plans. She should contact the French Consulate/Embassy to inform them of the delay and ask for guidance on submitting new flight and accommodation details.
Do Not Buy New Tickets Yet: Wait to hear from the embassy. If a visa is approved, the authorities can adjust the start date. Contact the Embassy: Proactively email or call the visa processing center to inform them your travel date has passed, and you are waiting on a decision. Ask if a revised itinerary is required. Prepare New Documents: If asked, be prepared to submit updated, non-confirmed hotel reservations and a new travel itinerary. Check Visa Type: If the visa was for a specific, time-sensitive event that has already passed, there is a higher chance of a negative outcome, but communicating to the embassy can sometimes resolve this. Thank you so much for your prompt reply much appreciated. |

Please has anyone being refused saying they owe the crown? My sister applied with her family, husband and kids were approved my sister was refused for the reason stated below, she had never applied before and has never being to Canada before nor does she owe any debt to the crown. I am refusing your application. • Your application indicates that you have a debt to the Crown. Please contact IRCC.FINDTTC-DALCFIN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca for payment prior to submitting a new application.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so please what can she do.
Thank you in advance |

Smartguru2: Hello everyone,
Has anyone used royal air maroc before, are they good, any bad experience?
Also, what quantity of luggage can they carry? My sister and auntie used them on Sunday from lagos to Manchester. The Lagos to Casablanca route they said was really nice it was a bigger plane and lots of passengers (about 500) I don’t know why. But the food was horrible. The Casablanca to Manchester leg was also really good they said. Their luggage came all together no issues with that. They each had 23kg x 2 |

jimcykhan: After the long wait without any correspondence from UKVI or VFS. I decided to track through VFS site this was the result. Please house what does this mean? can I go for passport collection without mail? That’s your passport you’ve tracked. You’ll need to track your application to check the status of your application. |

onile1975: Yes, is like education,if you to write WAEC or JAM next year, you will start preparing since this year, because failure to plan is plan to failed I’ve followed all your posts on here and the advice offered which you have ignored. I think it’s ok to ask as many questions but you’re asking the same questions over and over again expecting a different response in so derailing the thread. |

davodyguy: Your prayers and luck worked.
Many couples in fact some children invited their mums and stated clearly that they are paying 100% yet they refused thier parents in the claim that they didn't submit personal bank statement Thank you, Yes you are right. Perhaps it also depends on how much they’ve submitted in their bank statement. My older sister also applied last year when I had baby. After two refusals and I followed all the guidelines here she cleaned up her statement for 6 months and was also approved in Feb24. |

Izzyjoy24: Thank you to all the contributors on here I’ve been a silent follower.
I recently applied for a visit visa for my paternal auntie (lost mum over 10 years) and I had a baby in 2024 so wanted to invite my auntie over.
Submitted biometrics 02Jan2025 at Ikeja Email to pickup passport 14Jan2025 Visa approved 6 months.
My auntie has a shop where she sells used clothes
Documents I submitted My payslip / 6months My contract of employment My council tax letter My utility bill -6 months My passport My bank statement Invitation letter in which I explained my auntie was a retired school teacher and has a clothing shop which my other auntie will look after when she travels Pictures of my auntie and I when I visited Nigeria in 2021
Documents my auntie submitted Her passport page Receipt of her shop rent Local shop levy receipt Her old university ID card with her maiden name to match with mine.
She has 3 grown up children last one is 19 years old. I forgot to add that in the invitation letter I did say I will be paying for her application fee, flight, and she’ll be staying with me. So the entire cost of her trip will be covered by me. |
