I think Omoku should be out of the list. Have been spending all my weekends in Omoku for more than a yr now cos of the now peaceful nature and their constant electricity. Omoku seems to be the safest place in Rivers state now. This is cos a local vigilante group is securing the area and has cleaned up criminality in the area. Some people are even relocating the main port Harcourt to Omoku.

If you've never been to rivers state before and you're planning to visit let me warn you of the areas to avoid. Avoid Emohua, Aluu, Ahoada west, Ahoada east, omoku, Akuku toru, eleme, ogoni, okrika and diobu. Don't say I didn't warn you.
