Good afternoon, pls how much will it cost on the average to get a bill of quantity for my upcoming project?
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Jaakay: 11:35am On Apr 23
Have you considered that due to the debt incurred, they may have sold or tied down the crude in contracts at prices less than the current oil price I.e. 50 - 55 dollars? My opinion, be optimistic, but plan for the worst. Note, I am also invested in the stock.
Zagee:

First off, lovely literature.
Secondly, its not different from the travails of the Nigerian economy as pertaining to the O&G sector of which bulaba seems to be solving with the use of TanTita and what not. I'm sure they can ride on the back of the president to scale the envisaged bond.

Talk of shares issuance not yet concrete, some positives. Revenues are peaking, wars are ongoing, summer is coming and oh beautiful winter is again on the horizon. All these are giving me a pointer to an increase in oilprice ($100 but not likley) benchmark, which the US might prefer instead of upticking the interest rate?(US folks should tell us)

I'd like to see 23FY as to what degree the oil prices have helped them.

If you dig deep into the 2022 funancials, they have already told you they made a loss at 2023FY unaudited account, with the hope to come back to profitability by 2024FY. They will be coming to raise funds at some point, either through the market or via bonds.
Zagee:

Numbers numbers. Waiting on 2023FY.

If we look at their 2021 result, it was clearly stated that they made loss as at Dec 31 2022 unaudited result (read the last 2 pages of the audited 2021 result). Let's hope the audited 2022 result brings a bit of hope.

SonofElElyonRet:

The interim results for 2023 will also be released to the market soon after the 2022 accounts are published”.

It noted that having approved the 2022 Audited Financial Statements, the audit of the 2023 AFS has now commenced, and the company is committed to ensuring that the 2023 AFS is published on or before July

With the qualifications date for the bonus issue, is it safe to presume the merger cannot be before that date of May 6th? Since the stock will need to be on suspension technically before the merger.

Maybe NASCON is trying to offload shareholders' possessions in her custody......ahead of Merger. smiley

Just buy more bros.

At least TOE is aggressively pushing Transcorp upwards so those who choose to get out can so do. Compare with Dangote sugar/salt that has been on a free fall.

Pls help me understand. Eps of 56k, but trading at +14 naira? Does not add up to me.
emmanuelewumi:
Transcorp EPS grew by 195%. It has a return on equity of about 19% which is quite good.

I expect between 60% to 100% earning growth in 2024 for Transcorp.

Based on the current price of the stock at recently released EPS of 56k. Transcorp has a PE of 26.

Transcorp is still very good to accumulate for the long term and N11 and below

This attempt by some people to bring down the price of Japaul is interesting. How are you comparing 2 companies operating in different industries? Ok o.
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Jaakay: 2:21pm On Jan 26
Pls note, I do not claim to speak on their behalf, but if a publicly quoted company claim on TV that they have secure 600,000 ounce of gold, I think they should be given a benefit of doubt. Also, if you look at their current board, it points to the direction that they want to go fully into mining

If you read through what I said, their mining business is not reflecting in their books yet. So yes, I feel they are been Conservative with the truth. Let us see what their 2024 Q1 says.
222Martins:

Numbers don't lie.... I will rather err on the side of numbers than err on the side of an "Advert about the future." When the advert about the future starts to reflect on the numbers, we will take a second look.
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Jaakay: 9:42am On Jan 26
I will remind both of you of what you posted above when the time comes. 👋
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Jaakay: 4:38am On Jan 26
Not necessarily. Recall sale of the 8m additional shares is not to the general public, so I don't see them selling into the market anytime soon. Also, if we go by the advert on their website, I think they are been Conservative with their result. There is no reference to the mineral mining revenue in their result. I am a bit surprised Loco is under selling is favorite JAPAULGOLD 😍

Locotrader:

Multiverse with 400m os is set to make money for shareholders in the mining sector.

Japaul with 6b os already plus 8b shares for right issue which will bring the total os to 14b is worrisome to me.They need to work more on their revenue and profit because of this large os I am seeing.Dilution in sight.....

Secondly, their July to sept revenue/ profit declined and now the oct to Dec revenue/profit also declined.

I am worried how the Q1 2024 will be following these declines. They had a very good Q1 result in 2023.Does it mean the dredging business which is their main source of income according to report is no more giving them money or major contract is terminated?
