The separate group is more like people looking for handout or advise without wanting to learn based on my perspective

If you have a reasonable amount of cash invested, I don't think you won't read and want to learn instead of focusing on bargain hunting

Hello my brothers and sisters.

I have been doing stanbic imaan fund and GT Equity since october 2025.
For like 6 weeks now, my profit has reduced drastically. (my capital is still intact. My profit is still much)
Its been Yakubu since for some weeks now.


A Bird told me to withdraw all my money from stanbic ibtc imaan fund and GT Equity, that the coming election and that govt is putting hand on the stock market to hold it.
That there will be a decline for several months.

However i intend selling some in september to buy Dangote's IPO once it comes out. Then keep the rest for long term compounding

Whats your take on this?

Should i move my funds out?
Will the market record losses from June to December because of the election?
Is it true shares will keep going down?
Is the coming election going to affect equity fund and shares?

My guess is the market will still rally and do way better later this year than earlier. The market needs more retail cash to promote this current govt for January at the very least

To me almost all major banks and financial services have gotten to their resistance, except if profit taking continues in June, then we can see more bears till july
